The Evil Emperor’s Favored Concubine: Divine Doctor Ninth Miss

Chapter 10 Corpse Puppet Pill

Jun Jiu raised her chin slightly and cast a cold glance at Bi Luo without displaying any emotions.

Panicked by Jun Jiu’s reaction, Bi Luo immediately began to plead. “Miss…”

“If you dare to touch me, I’ll break your hand,” Jun Jiu warned, her tone icy.

Bi Luo withdrew his hand hastily and pretended to cry, saying, “Miss, Bi Luo knows he was wrong. The Second Lady threatened me! She said if I didn’t do it, she’d kill me. Miss, Bi Luo would never harm you! I’d never dare!”

Jun Jiu sneered, her lips curving in a mocking smile as she observed Bi Luo. If she hadn’t returned and witnessed Bi Luo’s pitiful act herself, she might have fallen for it.

Staring at Bi Luo with an air of amusement, Jun Jiu asked, “So, you want to come back?”

“Yes! Miss, Bi Luo has been eagerly waiting for your return. Without Bi Luo, Miss, you must have felt so lonely all by yourself! Those people ridiculed you, calling you a waste, but I, Bi Luo, am willing to serve you,” Bi Luo replied hurriedly. He spoke rapidly and then kowtowed insincerely. “Oops, I misspoke! I didn’t mean to call Miss a waste.”

Jun Jiu sighed, unimpressed by Bi Luo’s theatrics. She took a pill from her bracelet’s space and showed it to him. “Look up.”

Bi Luo complied, wearing a “bright” smile, unaware that his face was covered in blood and dirt, looking as though he’d been in a car accident.

Jun Jiu grabbed Bi Luo’s chin and said, “If you want to return to my service, you must obey me. I don’t tolerate useless individuals around me, but I can put you to use.” With that, she used her fingers to move Bi Luo’s mouth and inserted the pill inside.

Bi Luo’s eyes widened in horror. “Ah, what did you feed me?”

“It will make you obedient,” Jun Jiu replied, clapping her hands. She watched Bi Luo’s facial expressions change from horror to fear, disgust, and finally, despair. This was the real Bi Luo.

Bi Luo tried to speak, but no words came out. He fell to the ground, writhing in pain, with his body convulsing uncontrollably.

Xiao Wu explained, “Master, you gave her the Corpse Puppet Pill.”

“Yes,” Jun Jiu confirmed.

Xiao Wu continued, “Master, you’ve depleted your spiritual power. You won’t be able to maintain your physical form.”

Jun Jiu touched the bracelet and assured Xiao Wu, “Don’t worry, I will become a spiritual master and free you from the bracelet.”

“Okay! Xiao Wu will wait for the master,” the bracelet replied.

Behind her, she heard footsteps, and Jun Jiu turned slightly to find Mo Wuyue leisurely leaning against the door frame. He exuded an air of dominance and dignity, as if he were the master of Donghu Garden.

Mo Wuyue spoke provocatively, “Xiao Jiuer, what did you do to her?”

“Xiao Jiuer?” Jun Jiu raised an eyebrow, puzzled by the name.

Despite her confusion, she explained, “I gave her the Corpse Puppet Pill. After taking it, she’ll lose her mind and become a loyal, obedient puppet who will only follow my commands.”

“Puppet? This Corpse Puppet Pill is interesting. Xiao Jiuer, where did you come across it?” Mo Wuyue inquired, narrowing his golden eyes as they darkened.

Jun Jiu couldn’t help but frown, wondering why Mo Wuyue seemed so intrigued by the Corpse Puppet Pill.
