NOVEL NEXT Chapter 82: TV
Eth watched his wrist as the screen was showing how the little eye painting was moving around confusing people who created a social interaction domino. Watching his wrist was cool and all, but it didn't had much style to it, so he decided to fix it, by making a small TV that worked the same way. This gave him the idea to become the TV host of the backrooms, perhaps make documentaries, exploration guide, game shows, and such...
He smiled at the idea, at least that would give him a purpose to fulfill... And with that thought alone a new element has been added to his personal space, an elevator that not only goes to the different floors accessed by the stairs, but also a completely new room at high attitude. He stood from the couch with a smile before turning off the TV and slowly making his way to the main part of the memory chamber. Where he found the elevator which had glass walls around it, showing parts of the mechanism behind it and the view around.
As he went in and pressed the button which had a TV image drawn in it. The elevator slowly went up, before passing through the clouds or the now open ceiling and after a while of this ethereal view, the ascension was in perfect still, the elevator doors opened to a set which had the capability to be easily changed through the dependents of the one who is recording, the room could be a small glass box, or a large concrete one.
"Sick." He said to himself as the room shift swiftly from a plain room with absolutely nothing into a few forms - a classroom, a simulation of specific backrooms levels, a museum which looks deeper into entity biology and more...
He was happy with it, but maybe this idea was going to be scrapped as he didn't know if he even wanted it... "Annoying..." He murmured to himself, before shifting the room back to its original, which seemed to be glitching slightly when he took a closer look at it.
After a while of thinking, he decided that it was enough planning as he wanted to make a long documentary of the backrooms, the levels one by one, this will sure expand the wiki.
And so with the idea in mind he noclipped to level 0 disregarding the limitations that he made for himself and began thinking of a script... "Nah, that was a little too boring..." Eth said as he backtracked... Literally. He just walked back into the wall and appeared where he was in his domain. After which he snapped his fingers which made a door to appear to a more retro looking place, one of his imagination. "Now that feels better." He said as another door appeared at the end of the square web. The retro style was quite enjoyable to him. And before he knew it, he was back at level 0. "Hmmm." He rubbed his chin while thinking of a way to make his life easier. And in the end he came to the conclusion of placing different clones of himself that suit the theme of the show they woudl present. And so, Eth the explorer was born, a pretty lovable and curious guy with great survival skills. Though he wasn't a full on copy of the original, but it was fine.
There was the other detail, each clone had a camera painting following, so they were fine, the shows will go on indefinitely. Eth chuckled slightly at the thought of something. "It will be fun if all my clones had a fight to see who is real."
Eth wasn't sure how the frequencies worked, so he just made it happen, as he returned back to the sea couch, he turned on the small portable TV and saw that it was working. In the meantime, his clone was talking about the manilla rooms, and this made Eth stare at shock,wondering how did his clone managed to find them so quickly. But either way it didn't matter, it was all part of the exploration and explanation. So he just layed back and watched a little.
