Chapter 30: All for the fans
As he walked past the people, many of them recording this stunning individual, an aura of mystery enveloping those who were closer to him. He looked up and smiled as he returned to his more childish state. He looked at one of cameras, and decided to pose for the fans, By giving off the peace sign and noclipping right afterwards. "Till our next performance, take care." He said with a smile on his face, he felt good by the way people seemed to enjoy his presence, He bowed down to the audience before finally sinking down through the concrete street. Even if sometimes he was too brutal, it was rare for him to find a reason for such brutality. Instead he tries to avoid it, in theory being a more peaceful version of himself. He quickly flew into the air of level 11 with his head, upside down He quickly opened a wound in reality in attempt to keep his head safe, and quickly analyzed in what position he should place the other end of the portal.
He didn't need to actually stay in the backrooms, so he decided that he would return. In secrecy from the people, who don't see him on the roofs of the buildings. He connected the portal back to the frontrooms. Still he fell on his face, but at least it wasn't the only part enduring the kinetic energy that gathered through the short span of time that he spent in transaction.
"I hope this is the last time." He said as he held his nose which was starting to bleed from the impact. He laid down and turned his head back so the blood doesn't fall out of his nose. But it caused for something else to happen, run down his throat and leave his somewhat dehydrated once this was over with. He gave a slow sigh as he sat up.
"Someday I will learn..." He said, with hopes of improving in the future, perhaps finding an even better version of him. He noclipped back into the ground, and tried to find a way to position himself so he doesn't fall on his face again. His nose was beginning to hurt really badly, and some skin peeled off. He tried to visualize how he was going to transition, in what position, via his character in his position spinning around trying to find the perfect rotation for this. He smiled and chuckled to himself while visualizing it, it seemed to fun to him how he still haven't understood how to noclip properly in and out of the backrooms.
Finally he wished that he would touch the ground with his back, so he noclipped in this sat up position, rolling himself into a ball of sort, and once on the end of the transition, he was laying on his back like a hedgehog.
It took him many minutes to reach this successful outcome, and he was somewhat proud of himself. Now he needed to repeat this... Many times... Too many, to get used to this type of noclipping, from ground to ground. 'Mirror travel? Good name.'
'Terms are nice and all... But why am I limiting myself with rules of travel? If I want something I take it.' He thought to himself as he ran into a wall and noclipped to level 6.1, where he got any type of water he could find, Being almond and regular. He first began by drinking the regular.
There was a sensation, a familiar calming feeling as the somewhat tasteless water quickly dissappeared, Even if close to tasteless. There was a taste, an indescribable taste, just like the royal rations. A taste shrouded in mystery, the words are unable to determine. 'Perhaps the godly drink?' He thought to himself as he took a final sip, before the bottle ran out of contents. But this didn't satisfy his thirst, he was still able to feel the iron taste in his throat, and it refused to leave.
He drank a bit of the almond water in hopes of it making it better, it somewhat fixed it, but not fully. He felt as if he couldn't drink anymore so he put the thermos in his pocket and noclipped back to level 11. His rules were out of the way, but he still preferred to travel, and to stick along the natural connection between levels. It was a board with each pin representing a level, and each string a connection.
The only suitable way for him to noclip from a ground to ground, was his little trick. He fell forward gathering momentum, before he noclipped to the other side. With this single motion, he reappeared into the frontrooms standing tall on his feet.
He opened his arms high up into the air as if signaling that he was there, before he stretched upwards. In his presence some were scared, some simply stood there in admiration, as the situation quickly spread like a sickness. By now the world was enveloped in the cold, comforting blanket of the night. He looked around and saw a beautiful sunset behind him, just like the one in level 48, but this was different, it provoked a deeper emotional reaction, one that affected the core of his very existence... The soul.
A person came closer to him, trying to take a closer shot, He easily spot that and smiled not only at the person to comfort them, but at the beautiful view. Perhaps he could catch this moment with the camera of his phone, the clouds in the perfect position for this. So he quickly drew his phone and activated the camera before taking the picture. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" The child said as the person, who immediately froze in place, unsure of what to do. There was a piece of uncertainty in their mind, fear. But the smile was tempting as if welcoming them for a small talk.
"Say... Why are you filming me?" The child asked as he turned towards the person with his head and raised an eyebrow.
"Uhh, uhh... It's nothing really. I am sorry for the bother." The person said bowing slightly, which gesture was easily picked on.
"No need to apologize. If you wanted a picture, you could have just ask me." The child said smiling happily, which shocked the person who quickly stood straight. They didn't know how to react to this welcoming attitude, so instead they said "Yes please!" Before coming next to him and taking a selfie. "Say cheese!" The person exclaim happily, but the request was denied. The child didn't understand this tradition. So he didn't even bother wasting energy on this unnecessary statement.
Both were smiling for the camera, and they took a picture. But there was something off about it, The child was slightly glitched, But not only that, there was a brown bark lowering down from above. Until the person was snatched away. The child quickly tried to grab onto the person to prevent this from happening, but it didn't work. In that instance a man jumped down from the building he was entirely made out of wood.
The phone of the person was falling down and the kid quickly ran to it, and grabbed it in the last moment. The child was disappointed and somewhat felt a feeling in his chest that let him feel the need of saving the person. The happiness they both experienced from this, It was something beyond anything he had felt before. "Hey!" The child said as he straightened his body and opened his arms in confusion while slowly walking towards the person. "Where did you take my friend?" He asked.
"To safety... from the likes of you." The wooden person said as he quickly launched many branches his way, in attempts of restraining him.
"Not to lower your spirit, but you ain't doing much." The child asked as he simply noclipped through the branches and then tried to walk through the person, who jumped backwards in attempt to keep distance.
'I don't care what you say, I am buying time till backup arrives.' The man thought to himself, he was confident that he might be able to survive this encounter. As he was mid jump, the child created a portal behind him and placed him back to where he was. 'What!?' The man asked, the transition was so sudden, the teleportation immediate, which made the illusion of him going back. Because he was unable to see the wound behind him.
The child gave a slow sigh as he put his hand on his face, before a theory of the motive behind this interaction appeared. "Oh... I get it. Is that the fake news? "You shouldn't have interfered in out work" Meh meh mean." He said as he made a disrespectful gesture with his hand of someone talking. "I saved two people instead of one, the criminal from your shady business and the man, by giving him hope of life. The what you people call "criminal" Now lives a life away from your community, I literally cut your work and people still find reasons to be ungrateful..." He gave another sigh of pure annoyance.
"I gave hope, for the both of them... And you wanted to take it away from the one that was already crushed by your whatever system... I won't harm you... Because when you can't be harmed by anyone... It is unnecessary to harm back, because then you are the one attacking. I am a person of freedom. A free soul because of power, but with free will. I am complete..." The child explained, before sitting down on the concrete. Only the bottom part of his skin, not noclipping, so he can stand. The man stopped as requested, seeing the purity of the child... The pure part of him.
"Thank you..." The child said as he collapsed down onto the ground, he felt somewhat exhausted, maybe the overuse of his power has caused it. But then he heard, cheers. From those who believed that he was dangerous. The child understood what was happening and decided to play along. "Just smile and wave." He said to the person who quickly looked down at him and then at the surrounding crowd. He played along as well.
...
But then. "Stand up!" The person from before yelled down from the building. This call immediately triggered an reaction from him, which caused his body to emerge from the ground. "Hey, friend! You dropped your phone." The child said as he jumped back onto his feet. He smiled before taking a selfie with the phone, before creating a wound in reality which was connected to the roof of the building. "Enjoy!" The child said as the person took their phone.
"Anyways. I suppose I could give you a fighting chance after all... The are pressuring you." The child whispered, before jumping backwards, giving them distance for the start of the dual.
The child counted with his fingers and once the last finger dropped, the man quickly sent a single branch, which wrapped around him... The child laughed slightly as he realized he lost because he refused to use the minimum of his power. "At least I have found how valuable my power is." He smiled as he noclipped out of the wooden restraints. "But for me to harm someone, I have to go a little bit beyond. The boundaries of this world." He said with a smile, before quickly closing the distance with a portal and grabbing the man by the neck and tackling him down. In that moment, a giant hero, quickly pushed them of with immense force as he was sent flying, flipping a bit and falling on his face. "WHY THE FACE AGAIN!?" He asked himself as he felt like crying. "Mph." He layed down on the ground, practically kissing the floor, as it began to bleed again. He let out a few tears as he didn't understand what he did to deserve this. Perhaps the lack of skill, was his only problem. 'I should have dragged him down for a joyride through the backrooms.' The child finally stoop, As blood dripped down his nose. He didn't want to go back through the feeling of a dry throat, it hurt him.
As the same person attempted to punch him with all he can, in the middle of nothing. That same smiling person appeared. "I am sorry, but I can't allow you to do that... He is innocent."
The crowd looked shocked as they saw that great hero, who was now on the side of the one they thought was a villain. They called him All Might.
"But, He was choking Kamui."
"Yes... I can't argue with that. But he attacked first, and he took my friend, and... What am I talking about?" The child asked as his brain started turning on and off. "Wait, recap, recap. So I was attacked and then I didn't fight back." He began explaining but was interrupted by a loud yawn which came from his exhausting. "And uh... Something happened. But I didn't harm him really. He is all wood so i suppose he is fin~" He fell backwards quickly noclipping back to the safety of the backrooms. He was laying down on the concrete streets of level 11. Sleeping peacefully...
