After walking for a while around the city, from slowly enjoying his cubes of cold royal rations, He stumbled
appointment a scene, people were gathering eager to see what was happening, a hostage at gun point, intimidating the heroes who were attempting to save the person who was shedding tears for his life. The child also wanted to see more. With this as an interest, he walked through the crowd by noclipping through the fence of water, created by a strange looking firefighter. This hasn't been the first time he was called here today, There was another incident at the morning.
"Damn, what's up with the crime rates?" He asked with a neutral expression before throwing a cube in the air and eating it.
"Kid get out of here? The person is dangerous." The man said underneath his mask. While still folding off the crowds.
"For the others... But let's just say, He isn't a threat around me." The child said, as he looked towards the criminal holding his gun at the head of the hostage. "Don't get any closer or i will kill him!" The criminal said as more heroes began to arrive, but his weapon was already unusable. "Nice weapon you got there." The child said as he took a step closer leaning forward and tilting his head "DON'T!" Few of the 'Heroes' Yelled.
"Guys, come on... Trust me on this one." The child said smiling carelessly, as he turned towards them. People witnessed someone, who is unable to fear, because he already knew what true fear was... The fear of losing oneself to thoughts of unnecessary insanity.
He turned back towards the guy, with the same smile. Before stepping forward, as a creepy smile formed on his face. "Shoot." The kid said quietly as he stood there, to the absolute shock of everyone. "It's okay." He said stepping another step forward. The criminal began panicking as with every step the child began to close the distance. "Stay AWAY! Or i will shoot! I Swear!" The person said in last ditch effort to intimidate him into letting him go. But to no avail.
"Please... Help me..." The person said with tears pouring out of his eyes. As if those words touched the child's soul, his face suddenly turned into one that only showed pity, his smile leaving no trace of existence. "Please... I have so much more to live for."
"Your request is granted." The child said as the pistol and hostage fell out of the man's hands. "Go... Live..." The child said as a small turn formed onto his face. "Thank you!" The person said falling onto the ground as he quickly stood up and ran away.
"What do you fight for?" The child asked looking directly at the criminal freezing him in place, but by now everyone was frozen when the realization gave pursuit. It was that mysterious man. The one once claimed a criminal, long ago redeemed to some degree. "W-w-What?" The criminal asked unsure of what the meaning of this question was. "What is your motive?" The Savior asked asked with the same piercing stare. "I-I... I didn't had... any other option... I was unable to do anything to save my life... This damned system, crushed me... I didn't had any other option." The man said as his mind began to cut off, making him repeat the same sentence again and again. The child walked to him, before putting his hand on the person's shoulder. "You might face punishment here... But you may start again, on another place." The child said as he began considering if it was alright to send this guy to the backrooms, either he can keep living here. Or live a new better life in the backrooms... If he survives.
"What are you talking about? He is a criminal, he must face the consequences." One of the heroes said.
"Who are you people to give judgement? I do what I want. I give freedom, which won't bother you. And you want me to give you, his free will?" The child asked looking over his shoulder with a judging look, before quickly turning towards the person. "Quickly make a decision, do you want to go to another place, where you will be free, but at risk. I will give you almond water that will help with your sanity in there, and some royal rations. When you feel hungry eat only one cube, they are addicting." The child said quickly pulling out the supplies from his pockets and handing them over to the criminal. "Take them quick, and here's the weapon, use it sparingly you won't be finding a lot of ammunition, in... Ummm, The first I don't know how many levels." The child said pushing the supplies in his hands and putting his weapon in the pocket of the person's pants. "I Wish you the best of luck... It will be a good life... If you survive it." The child said as the man began sinking slowly into the concrete towards a new life. "You have ten seconds to object if you want."
"No! What are you doing? Why are you helping them?" One of the heroes asked, as they rushed forward to try and pull the villain out, so he can be sent to jail.
"Five seconds remaining." The child said looking at his wrist as if there was clock on it. He prevented the person from doing anything to the person.
"3... 2... 1..."
"Thank you!..." The criminal said with a single tear streaming down his face, onto his smile. The person was free. His life was no longer bound by the system behind the world. The child returned the smile, as it was the last glimpse of the frontrooms that person was going to see. Unless summoned back here.
"You shouldn't have interfered in our work..." The man said on his knees why looking at the place where the person dissappeared.
"I can bring him back... But I did rather see him grow as a person with freedom then a person behind bars..." The child said as he slowly turned around, lifted his shoulders before walking away. "You know how to arrest people, but you never learnt how to free them from their malicious thoughts. Never the less. Free will is beyond your power. And my will, in the face of you... Is absolute." The child said quietly, his face grew cold, his hair flowing through the air as normal people and heroes made way for him to pass.
