Chapter 94: Say my name
Xane calmly walked into an almost full class.
Just as he took his first step in, he got multiple reactions.
Everyone who saw his face had some kind of reaction. Most looked at him with disgust, and some even sneered.
Almost everyone started whispering about the "night creep" thing.
He saw that no one wanted to associate with him.
Even those who entered after him avoided him like the plague.
Xane calmly glanced around the class, noticing the fresh change in the seating arrangement.
He looked at the red-haired ones who sat in the very first row, each one of them with a different expression.
He even looked at Melina, but she stared upward, ignoring him as if he did not even exist.
Not minding any of that, Xane just lowered his head and walked toward the back.
It just so happened that Auren and his group of three people were all sitting right next to the path he was walking, while the last one sat two rows behind them in the lower-batch section.
He even saw that everyone had left one row of benches empty that separated the batches.
From the positioning of this separation, he understood that around a fourth of the class was in the upper batch, while most were clustered at the back.
While he was walking with his face down, he saw Auren staring at him. He could see the guy was trying hard to keep a straight face, though the corner of his mouth twitched from time to time.
It was the same with the entire group.
Xane's gaze lingered on them for a moment before he just walked ahead.
This caused many in the class to sneer, though he could also see a couple of disappointed faces among them.
He just dodged their gazes, not giving them anything, and glanced at the lower-batch group.
While they had similar reactions upon meeting his eyes, most of them actually looked down. His eyes focused on the left side, where he saw the girl who had accused him sitting there, looking down.
With one look, he saw through her act. The moment she started shaking, the group of elves sitting around her immediately stood up and blocked his view.
All of them glared at him with red eyes.
Not only that, he felt a pair of eyes boring into his back.
He didn't even have to turn around; just from the pressure alone, he knew it was Liam.
Zayn said to him. [Well, Marcin's information was true. She actually used this situation to gain Liam's sympathy.]
Xane just nodded as, one step at a time, he continued to climb toward the back.
Interestingly, the last member of Auren's group was also sitting at the edge of his seat.
Krist had the same mocking grin that Auren and others in the group had, and just like them, he failed to suppress it.
Xane's heartbeat increased as the distance between them continued to decrease. Even his hands started to shake a bit.
Those close to him mistook it as Xane having a fear or trauma attack.
This made the brown-haired Krist even more smug. He glanced at the other students and puffed his chest, as if telling them: You see that?
Just as Xane was passing through, Krist even mumbled in a bragging tone, "You'd better stay away from me."
Xane almost shivered.
The very next moment, Xane stopped walking and suddenly turned to Krist.
But Krist had already turned toward the others, using this moment to increase his authority.
Unknown to him, a wide smile formed on Xane's face.
Xane bent down and whispered next to Krist's ear, "Say my name."
Krist paused, but before he could react, Xane grabbed his hair.
Without hesitation, he banged Krist's head on the table.
Bammm!
The collision was so loud it echoed inside the classroom.
Everyone in the class froze.
Before they could recover, Xane pulled up Krist's face and asked again, "Say my name?"
Krist tried to mumble and, bam!
Once again, Xane smashed his head on the bench.
This time, he didn't stop. One hit after another, he started smashing Krist's head on the bench.
Bam! Bam! Bam! Bam!
Xane started giggling and asked again, "Say my name, Krist?"
He pulled Krist out of his seat and kicked him down toward the platform.
"Say my name, Krist?"
Not caring about anyone, he ruthlessly started stomping on Krist's head. "Who am I, Krist?"
Each time, his voice grew louder.
Before anyone could reach him, he had already dragged Krist to the front of the class. The guy was already covered in blood.
Not caring about anything, Xane grabbed Krist's head and was about to smash it on the ground when a scream rang out.
"What are you doing?"
Xane recognized Auren's voice. This time, he placed extra power and slammed Krist's head onto the front wall.
Bam!
A big red mark appeared on the wall as Zayn shouted in his head, [Dude, control yourself!]
Xane just grabbed Krist's hand and was about to twist it when multiple swords appeared next to his neck.
Xane looked up and saw that the first to reach him were all from his family.
The one in the lead pressed his sword against his neck. "Come back to your senses!"
Xane glanced past the group of red-haired ones and saw Melina.
He smirked at her, then stared into the leader's eyes and asked again, "Say my name?"
The leader shouted back, "Shut the hell-"
Before the guy could finish, Xane grabbed his neck and asked again, "Say my name, bastard?"
Seeing their leader like that, the others were about to rush toward him when someone shouted from the back of the class, "Viyron Zenairs!"
Xane loosened his grip and started laughing. "Hahaha!"
This scene enraged many, but then Xane just slapped his chest and shouted at them, "I am a Zenairs!"
He turned to those around him and tilted his head. "Do you think just any fcking random bitch could mess with me, a Zenairs?"
This made all the red-haired ones pause.
Not wasting a beat, he asked the red-haired leader, "Hey, you. What is the punishment for going after a Zenaris life?"
The guy tried to turn to ask Melina, but Xane grabbed his throat. "Do you even share the same blood?"
Xane just pushed him back and slowly walked toward Melina.
He bent down, his face stopped just inches from her face, and a wide smile formed on his lips as he asked, "Sister, what do you think is the punishment for going after the House of Zenairs?"
The entire class held its breath.
