The crimson princess

Findel and Joyce

Author’s note: A little reminder that I had misplaced the chapter order and that I put the scene R-18 before Pandemonium. So if you haven’t read it, read the chapter Pandemonium.

Pov Dia,

The news of Rimuru’s pregnancy spread around Pandemonium in just a few hours. I have already received letters congratulating me on the news.

Worried for the child in Rimuru’s womb, I assigned Carrera and Ultima as her bodyguards.

I also asked Rain and Misery to take on more of the maid duties to lighten Rimuru’s load, so she wouldn’t overexert herself.

Of course, I had to give her strict orders to prevent her from overworking, but she felt like I was taking part of her life away. I’m already dreading the moment when I’ll have to force her to stop working as her pregnancy progresses.

Sera was a bit jealous that she wasn’t the one carrying my child first, but she understood that it was mostly a matter of luck. I never dared to tell her that it was because Rimuru was in her slime form that she became pregnant.

I received gifts from my family, especially from my grandmother, who loves her grandchildren very much.

Together with Sera and Rimuru, we asked my mother to give us lessons on how to raise a child. After learning all the things to be cautious about, I’m terrified that I might become paranoid and destroy any potential threat to my child’s life and future children.

Every day, I spent time checking on Rimuru because, for me, the safety of my child is paramount.

We visited Inari and Kurama to hear the latest news, and they prepared a feast for us like we had never seen before.

As the months passed, I grew more anxious, constantly worrying about the baby, even though everything seemed fine.

By the end of Rimuru’s seventh month of pregnancy, I banned her from all physical activity. She tried to protest, saying that Grayfia would surpass her during this time or coming up with other excuses, but I decided to ignore her.

I think those were the longest two months for Rimuru; she was on the verge of depression because she couldn’t do what she lived for.

I took all the books on how to raise a child and asked my mother to run simulations of possible situations that could happen to help pass the time.

As the last week of pregnancy approached, I didn’t leave Rimuru’s side for a second. Anyone who wasn’t family or from the prairie couldn’t get near us.

Finally, the day of the delivery arrived. It’s said to be the most painful period for a woman and also one of the most dangerous for the child, so I stayed beside her, more stressed than I’d ever been. Honestly, I would have preferred to return to the torturous period Scathach-sensei put us through than deal with this kind of stress.

Maybe due to Rimuru's nature, the birth went by very quickly and without any pain for my wife.

Rimuru: "I’ve been hiding something from you, Dia-sama. In fact, so that you wouldn’t be more stressed than you already were, I hid the fact that I was pregnant with twins."

......

Wait! SHE JUST SAID WHAT?

When I saw the nurse come with the first child, I was the happiest woman in the world.

My first child was a slime-like girl, but human in appearance. She was pale pink with red eyes. We had already chosen a name for her.

Dia: "Findel."

I held her in my arms very protectively, while the nurse handed the second child to Rimuru. I approached to see her more closely, and she too was a slime girl in human form. Like her sister, most of her body was pale pink, but her hair was blue-purple.

Dia: "I’ll let you choose the name for our second daughter."

Rimuru: "If you don’t mind, I’d like her to be called Joyce."

Dia: "Go for Joyce."

I have just become a mother, and I know I will love my two daughters with all my heart.

Findel: character having the same apperence as that of the mobile game isekai demon waifu

Joyce: character having the same apperence as that of the mobile game isekai slow life

Author’s note: The name of the Findel is Fendall in English but being accustomed to the French name I will keep them.
