Date with Rimuru
Pov Dia,
Dia: "Are you kidding me, Rimuru?"
Rimuru: "I would never do that."
Dia: "So why are you showing up in a maid’s uniform?"
Rimuru: "But it’s not a maid outfit. There’s no headdress, collar, or wrist cuffs."
Dia: "It's not just those elements that make you look like a maid."
Rimuru: "That’s not true. If a maid’s outfit doesn’t have a dress, apron, headdress, collar, wrist cuffs, stockings, and shoes, then it’s just a pathetic, poor imitation of a maid and an insult to our noble profession."
Sometimes Rimuru makes me very tired by being like that.
Dia: "Rimuru, I don’t like to do this, but you don’t give me a choice. I order you to dress in civilian attire, whether it’s a noble or commoner’s outfit, whether it’s from the central continent or the east. I don’t care, but you have to change your outfit."
I really don’t like to order Rimuru, and I feel even more foolish giving an order for something like this. Looking at Rimuru, I could see an internal conflict. She probably didn’t want to get rid of her outfit, but on the other hand, it’s not very maid-like to refuse an order from her mistress.
The date started an hour late, but Rimuru changed her outfit. (Author’s note: I don’t know how to describe it, so think about her outfit once Rimuru became a demon king.) It’s amazing how her outfit makes her look more noble when I’d bet she’d choose a more commoner outfit.
Rimuru: "It would be unworthy to walk around in a commoner’s uniform for a date with you."
Why does she make me feel like I’m a goddess to her? I hope my peerage won’t be like this.
Somewhere in Lucifer’s territory, a black-haired devil sneezed.
1: "Did you get sick, Noir?"
Noir: "I don’t feel like they’re talking about me."
An adult devil can form a peerage, but the problem is that this system has become a little wobbly because of all the devils who died during the great war. Ajuka said he was trying to find a way to fix it. I am sure it will be something beyond our expectations and very complex, as usual, coming from him.
We headed to a hill to admire the landscape of a city and the sunset. The atmosphere of this place was very magical, already giving the impression that we were at the end of our date when it had just begun.
Rimuru took out what she had prepared for our date. As usual, she made what I wanted to eat, which was sushi. There was such a variety of fish in these sushi that I wondered if I would be able to taste everything.
Rimuru: "Each fish is of the highest quality and the freshest. I went to get them during your date with Sera-sama, and if I didn’t find the fish I wanted, I would catch it myself."
Dia: "You didn’t have to make so much effort for our date."
Rimuru: "You did the same with Sera-sama’s gift. Finding a jewel of such quality took you more time. Even if they are camouflaged, I noticed that there were many runes to ensure it wouldn’t get damaged or anything else."
Dia: "You know, you're a little boring because I can’t hide anything from you."
Rimuru: "And all the better because otherwise, you could die trying to save us in the shadows or something like that. You don’t have to sacrifice yourself to save us. Let us help you because, after all, we did the same training as you."
Dia: "That’s not true, you didn’t do the torture training."
Rimuru: "That’s just because I have immunity to pain."
We spent the rest of the time eating and discussing our first meeting or other random facts. Very quickly, the afternoon turned into evening, and the sun began to set, giving us an incredible view of the shadows spreading over the city.
Rimuru: "It’s a beautiful sight you found."
Dia: "I wasn’t going to have a picnic with an ugly view."
As with Sera, I presented a small gift to Rimuru. However, unlike Sera’s necklace, I chose a gold-colored brooch for Rimuru that matched her eyes. The brooch had a floral pattern, giving the impression of a flower on her head rather than just a brooch.
Rimuru: "How long did it take you to find or make it?"
Dia: "Why do you have to ruin the romantic atmosphere?"
Rimuru: "I was a little curious because, after all, it is such a beautiful gift. I promise you I’ll take care of it and wear it every day."
Dia: "What if I gave you another pin?"
Rimuru: "I-I would wear it every day as long as I didn’t receive another gift from you."
I approached and put the pin in her hair, and as with Sera, I took the opportunity to steal a kiss, although it was more like she threw herself at my lips.
