Crimson bow technique (2)
Pov Sera,
The technique that Dia-chan developed was amazing. It went boom, splash, kaboom.
...
I shouldn’t explain this myself.
For a while, when the explosion came, I was afraid it would hit us, but fortunately, Dia’s crimson shields appeared to protect us.
She trained a lot to master her crimson shield.
She is second in training after the Imperial Claymore and before the crimson bow.
She tried to protect herself a little during the torture, but she got caught and Scathach-sensei punished her afterwards.
I felt so sorry for her at the time, but I was also angry with her for wanting to protect herself.
At the moment, she is again in a position to shoot; she even spat out a crimson arrow.
Sera: "I see absolutely no difference between this technique and the one before."
Rimuru: "There’s a difference. I don’t feel an explosive rune on the arrow."
I have to train even more to be able to recognize runes like Rimuru. His level to recognize runes is incredible.
Rimuru: "It’s normal for a maid to know that."
Scathach: "I’m pretty sure you’re the only one who thinks that."
Dia: "Will you shut up, yes or no?"
Damn, I forgot Dia-chan had to concentrate.
Sera: "Sorry, Dia-chan, I promise you it won’t happen again."
She sighed and then got back into position. I saw at that moment several spheres of her POD escape from her.
I really wonder what her technique is.
Shortly after, there were a hundred POD spheres that escaped from her. All of these spheres began to take the shape of an arrow.
I think I just figured out her technique.
Dia-chan let go of the bowstring, and the arrow took off with astonishing speed. The other arrows followed after it and landed around the target.
This technique is better than the first because the chances of having collateral victims are lower.
Scathach: "Interestingly, this technique could also allow all of its arrows to be trackable, giving the enemy less time to rest before the next arrow."
Dia: " I’ve already thought about it but it’s not my last technique. My last technique is a bit of a fusion of the first two."
Sera: "But I don’t understand, why say the third is less impressive than the first?"
Dia: "They are only mini explosions compared to the first powerful and very large one. The others pale in comparison."
She got back into position and began her technique. It is true that it is much less impressive than the first technique, but there is a certain beauty in it.
It is very indescribable, but I am not far from finding the solution if only I could find a trigger.
Scathach: " Quite dangerous for someone who has an absolute defense because this technique will not leave him rest and when he believes that he can rest a new salvo of arrow arrives on him. It’s great that you have so many different techniques for your bow. But don’t forget that you can keep improving.”
Dia: "I still have to find inspiration, but for now, I will settle for these three major techniques before exploring another one because I have to train for other weapons."
Scathach: "I guess the next training you’ll do is for the one-handed weapon."
Dia: "Yes, I already have a two-handed weapon, a ranged weapon and a shield, so logically, I should train with a one-handed weapon, even if I also have to train with a weapon like a spear."
Scathach: "Logic would also dictate that you start with this type of weapon."
Dia: "Dia doesn't follow logic."
Scathach: "Talk like that again and I’ll start torturing you again until you have no nervous system, do I make myself understood?"
Dia: "Yes, Scathach-sensei, I'm sorry for speaking like that."
It really became her nightmare, this training, even if I agree with her a little from her point of view.
Scathach: "Now, your next training is to get out of here and explore the world to learn more about the outdoors, and also because I can’t stand seeing your faces all day."
And with this harsh statement, we move on to a new part of our training.
