the blue blur of U.A

Chapter 12: TIME SKIP [ 9 ]

-[ SHINICHIRO ]-

[SIX YEARS LATER: A NEW ERA BEGINS]

The once-timid children of the Jaku Incident had transformed over the past six years. The Hero Development Facility had become a second home to Shinichiro and Hori, and the rigorous training under Takeshi, Rika, and other Pro Heroes had honed their skills to remarkable levels.

Shinichiro now stood taller, his lean frame defined with muscle from years of intense training. His blue hair remained untamed, but his eyes had grown sharper, reflecting a quiet determination. Hori, on the other hand, had blossomed into a confident young woman. Her once raw Rose Shield quirk had developed into a formidable ability, capable of offense and defense alike.

The two had become an inseparable duo, their bond forged through shared struggles and victories. Together, they set their sights on U.A. High School—the first step toward becoming Pro Heroes.

---

The sound of clashing metal echoed through the facility's training grounds as Shinichiro faced off against Rika. Her combat staff whirled like a hurricane, forcing him to rely on his speed and precision to evade her strikes.

"Faster, Shinichiro!" Rika barked, her strikes relentless. "You've got the reflexes, but you're hesitating!"

"I'm not hesitating!" he shot back, ducking under a low swing and countering with a burst of blue energy from his palm.

Rika smirked as she blocked the attack, the force pushing her back slightly. "Better. But don't just react—predict!"

"Now your just trying to sound like big bro!"

Shinchiro said.

Shinichiro's training had evolved beyond raw speed. He had mastered Boost Mode, allowing him to channel varying percentages of his quirk without overexerting himself. His combat instincts had sharpened, and his precision strikes could now disable opponents without unnecessary force.

One of his greatest breakthroughs came when he combined his speed with controlled energy bursts, creating shockwave-like attacks that disoriented enemies in close quarters. A martial art he honed over the years that could only be used by him, he called it [ Thunder clash technique ].

---

Meanwhile, Hori's progress was equally astounding. She stood at the center of the training grounds, her hands glowing as a massive rose-colored shield enveloped her.

"Good," Endeavor said, watching her intently. "Now expand it further while maintaining its integrity."

Sweat dripped down Hori's face as she pushed her quirk to its limits. The shield grew, its edges shimmering like crystal. She clenched her fists, and spikes began to emerge from the barrier's surface—a new offensive adaptation she'd spent months perfecting.

"Impressive," Endeavor said, nodding. "You're turning your defense into a weapon. That's the mark of a true hero."

Hori smiled, her determination unwavering. "Thank you, sir."

---

One afternoon, All Might arrived at the training facility with a young boy in tow. He was slightly shorter than Shinichiro, with unruly green hair and freckles. His wide eyes darted around nervously, but there was a spark of determination in his gaze.

"Everyone," All Might said, his booming voice drawing the attention of the trainees, "I'd like you to meet someone special. This is Izuku Midoriya, my successor."

!

Shinichiro and Hori exchanged surprised glances before stepping forward to greet the boy.

"Successor, huh?" Shinichiro said, offering a hand. "Nice to meet you, Midoriya. I'm Shinichiro."

Midoriya shook his hand, his grip firm despite his nervousness. "It's an honor to meet you! All Might's told me about your role in the Jaku Incident. You're incredible!"

Hori chuckled. "Don't let him hear that. His ego's already big enough."

"Hey!" Shinichiro protested, grinning.

All Might clapped his hands, drawing their attention. "Midoriya's journey is just beginning, and I'd like the two of you to help him grow. You're some of the most talented trainees I've seen, and I believe you can teach each other valuable lessons."

Midoriya's face lit up with excitement. "I'll do my best!"

---

The trio quickly fell into a rhythm, their training sessions blending their unique strengths. Midoriya's analytical mind proved invaluable, often pointing out subtle flaws in Shinichiro and Hori's techniques.

Over the months training with Shinchiro and Hori has managed to draw the young Midoriya out of his shell, gone was his fragile, timid self, now was a young man with a bit more confidence in himself and his ability.

Training with them had shown each of them, had shown the young man more creative ways to use his quirk without the risk of injury.

With the help of his new friends the lad was able to make a combat style suitable for himself —[ full cowling ].

During one sparring session, Shinichiro and Midoriya squared off, their movements a blur of speed and strategy.

"You're fast as usual Shinchiro-kun." Midoriya admitted, dodging a flurry of Shinichiro's strikes. "But you're predictable when you rely on straight-line movements."

"Predictable, huh?" Shinichiro said, smirking. He shifted his stance and feinted to the left before vanishing in a burst of speed, reappearing behind Midoriya.

Midoriya barely managed to block the incoming strike, his eyes widening. "Woah! You're learning!"

"So are you," Shinichiro replied, impressed by Midoriya's quick reflexes.

Hori watched from the sidelines, offering pointers and cheering them on.

---

As the U.A. entrance exams approached, the pressure mounted. Shinichiro and Hori dedicated themselves to their studies and training, often working late into the night. Much to Shinchiro's dismay.

"We've come too far to back down now," Hori said one evening, her voice steady despite the exhaustion in her eyes.

Shinichiro nodded, his determination mirroring hers. "We'll make it. Together."

Midoriya joined them in their preparations, his enthusiasm contagious.

"We're going to crush this exam," Midoriya said, pumping his fist.

Hori smirked. "With you on our team, we can't lose."

---

Unbeknownst to the trio, the shadows of their past loomed ever closer. All For One, hidden in the darkness, watched their progress with keen interest.

"Shinichiro," he mused, a sinister smile curling his lips. "You've grown strong. Let's see how far you can go before you fall."
