THE BILLIONAIRE STILL WANTS HER!

Chapter 7: You Don't Know What You're Doing

When Riley found Tryson's grip on her hand to be unbearable, she gently pulled him back while softly calling out to him.

This caused him to pause and turn around, only to see Riley clutching her wrist with a look of intense pain on her face.

"What have you done? You've hurt me, Tryson," Riley uttered with a voice full of heartbreak.

Tryson gazed at her in silence, words failing him, with his hands tucked away in his pockets. After a moment, he approached her, gently took the hand she said he had hurt, and carefully inspected it.

"If I caused you any pain, I'm truly sorry," he attempted to apologize, his voice filled with sincerity.

"Are you seriously telling me you're sorry, Tryson? Is that truly what you're going to say to me? You brought that girl back? And you think I should just accept that? What about us, Tryson?" she exclaimed, her voice filled with emotion.

Tryson remained silent, unable to utter a single word.

He gazed at her with eyes as cold as ice, observing her as she continued to speak; "Your family sent her away, and yet, you welcomed that very same girl back into your home. Tryson, I am your—"

"Riley, you're not going to make things more difficult. That's not something you're going to do. Everything I did before was done because I felt there were no other options available to me. "

"Are you really saying you had no choice at all?"

"What's more, Riley. Do you honestly believe that faking an engagement with you in front of the media was my decision? You requested it because you were afraid of how your father might react. Now that the charade is over, I'm bringing that woman back into my life."

"What about me? Am I not worthy of being a part of your life? I thought we loved each other," Riley pleaded, grasping his hand to make him turn his gaze toward her.

His intense look spoke volumes without uttering a single word, yet Riley appeared desperate despite its clarity.

"You finally have the business you've always dreamed of, right? Your father's now assured that you're capable of finding a fiancé, so why don't you just let me be?"

"Tryson, you can't just act like there was never anything between us. What about your family—"

"As soon as I brought up Angel as my fiancée, you saw their lack of concern," Tryson replied, his tone carrying a significant implication while his eyes remained fixed on her.

"Riley, my family sent her away simply because it was necessary at the time. They uncovered her real identity, and so what? Do you honestly believe that would be sufficient reason for them to discard her?" Tryson remarked, suggesting he might have pieced together everything from two months prior.

Riley carefully withdrew her hand from his arm, initially appearing stunned as she lowered her gaze. However, in the following moment, she lifted her head to meet his eyes.

"If you're truly saying this, do you believe the media will accept her? And what about all my friends? How am I supposed to explain to them, and to my family, that you left me just two months after you vowed to marry me?"

"Isn't this what you always desired?"

Riley was at a loss for words; what had become of her Tryson?

Why did it seem like the emotions she once saw in him had vanished over the years? Then, her eyes locked onto the woman approaching them.

She clenched her jaw, determined not to let Tryson slip away to someone else.

She was the only one worthy of his affection; no one else came close.

"Alright, but you can't object to my next move," Riley declared.

Tryson frowned, but soon his expression shifted as he observed Riley stride toward a waitress.

Riley took a drink from her, and in the blink of an eye, he watched as she poured the contents onto Angel's face.

Angel gasped as the liquid trickled down her face, smudging her makeup.

"Riley," Tryson exclaimed, grabbing her arm to turn her towards him.

"What does that mean?" he asked, but she remained silent, simply gazing at him.

"All's fair in love and war, Tryson. Believe me, there are things you'd reconsider if you truly knew what was happening. You still care for me, Tryson. I can sense it; I can see it in your eyes. So please, follow me, don't let me slip away," Riley pleaded with heartfelt intensity, causing Tryson to frown.

"What do you mean?" Tryson asked, watching as Riley let out a soft chuckle.

"I'm causing trouble for just one reason," she declared, reaching for the buttons on his suit, her eyes locked with his. "I don't want you to suffer. You deserve me, and no one else," Riley said.

"Ril-" Tryson was at a loss for words as he saw Riley disappear from sight, followed closely by Ana.

He shifted his gaze towards Angel, who remained in a state of shock, with the liquid still streaming down her face. To make matters worse, the guests had started murmuring in disbelief at the scene.

"Angel," Tryson called out, moving closer to her with the intention of comforting her, but she lifted her hand to halt his approach.

"Please, I can handle this on my own," Angel said with composure, then promptly left, leaving Tryson to watch her departure.

In his life, there were two significant women: Riley Sam, the daughter of a billionaire entrepreneur who rose to fame and fortune as a successful actress, and the other was Angel Johnson, the woman now disappearing from his view.

A woman he encountered at a restaurant, who was ready to quit her job simply to assist him with his absurd predicament, had nothing to her name, yet she supported him immensely, and he was determined to repay her kindness.

However, for some reason, it seemed as though he was about to embark on a challenging path.

All to choose the one who was truly right for him.
