The Awakened Blader

A few days later Kodai, Benji, Liz and the new boy all meet up outside the WBBA building.

"Yo, you guys ready?" Benji asks.

"Yup!" Liz exclaimed while Kodai nodded.

"By the way whos he?" She asks pointing to the new guy.

"That's our third member his name is uh... theu- thio..." He said but was interrupted.

"Theodore." He declared.

"Yeah that..." Benji replied.

"Such a nerdy name haha." Liz chuckled.

"I know..." He responded.

"I'm just trying to break some ice were gonna be stuck in a RV for a couple days together after all." She exclaimed.

They continue to wait for the RV but after they see it coming down the street they grab their bags.

"Ooh I hope it has a queen sized bed in the back, Iv been begging mom for one but I'm stuck with my stupid twin bed!" She complains.

The bus stops in front of them and it's doors open with a fwshh.

"All aboard the RV, destination, a one way trip to champions!" Benji yells.

They all board the RV and take in the sight that beholds them.

It was luxurious, it had a nice long couch with authentic leather seats and a glass coffee table with lights inside. On the other side is a massive TV with let's behind it illuminating the wall oh and a bar.

"Wow they did not skimp out on us!" Benji exclaimed.

Everyone snaps their necks in the same direction as they collectively hear a massive esr piercing shriek.

"OMG ITS A MASSIVE ASS BED!!!" Liz roars with excitement as she jumps onto the bed tusslling the covers and rolling around.

"That's nice and all but it's the only bed here." Benji declares.

It hits everyone that it was indeed the only bed.

"We'll uh Theodore could sleep on the couch and you could sleep on that recliner over there... that just leaves kodai n' me." She responds.

"You could sleep with me here on this massive bed, if that's fine with you." She says with puppy dog eyes.

"Sure." Kodai answers.

Benji and Theodore both look at them.

"What?" Kodai asks.

"That's a little inappropriate don't you think." He answers.

"It's not like we're gonna do anything right Liz!" He retorts.

"..." Liz doesn't respond.

"Right... Liz?" He asks again.

"...yeah..." she responds.

"I don't like the pauses in that." Benji replies.

Benji pulls Kodai to the side.

"Dude I worry for you, I think she's a predator dude." Benji whispers.

"No she's just.... different." Kodai responds.

"That's why I'm worried!" Benji let's out a hushed exclamation.

Later they were talking about famous bladers when they found out Kodai knows nothing about beyblade.

"What do you mean you don't know about Valt Aoi or Aiger Akabane or even Dante Koryu!?" Theodore exclaims.

"I tried to tell you he's an amnesiac he didn't even remember his name or family or he'll even a language, I gave him that name and he's been learnin English for a month or so." Liz explained.

"B-but they're legends!" He exclaimed.

"Ugh I'm tired of explaining amnesia to people imma go to bed." She declared.

"You comin or not?" She asked.

"Yeah." Kodai said getting up.

Both Benji and Theodore stood up straight as a board saluting Kodai.

"Godspeed soldier!" Benji exclaimed.

"So immature." Liz retorted.

As the two went to bed Benji and Theodore sat down and continued to talk.

"Ah... Theo... all jokes aside I do worry for him sometimes he's too easily persuaded." Benji declared.

Meanwhile Kodai had laid down and closed his eyes to sleep.

"Psst Kodai." Liz whispered.

"Huh." Kodai hushedly replied.

"I wasn't really tired." She said.

"Okay and?" Kodai said.

"God you're so dense" She complained.

Liz placed her mouth next to Kodais ear to whisper.

"I'm h~"

Later that night after everyone had gone to sleep Theo had woken up to use the bathroom but just as he was about to grab the door handle he notices something.

Kodai was sitting on the side of the bed with his arms on his knees.

"Touch that handle you lose your hand." Kodai declared with wide eyes that threatened to illuminate the room.

Those eyes they're almost lizard li-

His train of thought was cut off by a spine chilling sensation down his spine which caused him to quickly pull his hand away.

He hurried back to his bed and decided to just hold it until they made it to their destination.

Only a few seconds later Liz comes out of the bathroom in her sleepwear.

"Sorry if I took long." She said.

"Not at all." He said his face quickly shifting to a soft smile.

In the morning they make it to their destination, they are now in Washington DC.

They quickly find themselves at a large hotel completely rented out by the WBBA.

They get to the counter and the secretary immediately pulls out 3 keys to a room and WBBA brochures explaining the WBBA'S schedule for the upcoming nationals.

They get to their room on the top floor.

"Oooh this place is nice!" Liz exclaims.

"Yeah it is." Benji replies.

"Awww there's four beds!" Liz complains.

"You got to assault him last night, let the man rest!" Benji exclaims.

"I should be the one resting!" She retorts.

"Guys I think we should read the brochure." Theo cuts in.

They open it and read the schedule.

"So we don't have anything for today until 3pm which is when the WBBA announcer will explain to us how it will work this year and then our first battle is tomorrow at 1pm." Theo explains.

"Simple enough." Benji said.

"Remember be back here by two!" Theo exclaims.

"Okay time keeper." Benji retorts.
