Reinhardt did not mind, and he did not stop her, even when she left the training grounds. He simply sighed and hoped that the knight seedling would find his way back up again. That's right, he believed that Kevin could come out of the abyss that he was in right now.

With the show over, the members of the temple of light got back to work.

Following his daily routine, Reinhardt arrived at his office at exactly 8 o clock. His assistant Melissa was already waiting for him inside. Her dress and get up sexy and immaculate as ever.

"Lord Governor," She bowed, giving him a generous view of her cleavage and the underwear she was wearing today. Reinhardt nodded, sitting by his desk.

"What is my schedule today?".

Melissa pulled up a file and started iterating the meetings and business he had today. As ever, his schedule was packed tight.

"Cancel the ones in the evening. I have some prior business to attend to today".

He had promised the village chief who came to his office yesterday to heal his wife. The process might take some time. As such, he needed to reschedule some of his business for tomorrow.

"I see." When Melissa was informed of the reason, she nodded her head.

"By the way, Lord Governor. You didn't just agree to heal her for free right?" With her eyes half closed and her face leaning in, she looked quite scary.

"Of course I didn't," Reinhardt then pointed out the gift he received from the couple and its secret use. Of course, he did not reveal everything. Only parts that made it a little special.

"I can't believe it. These seemingly ordinary leaves have such great effects?"

Melissa looked at the leaves, inspecting them through her eyes.

"If you want, I can give you a vial. Since it increases concentration, it should be quite helpful to you too." Saying that, he passed a vial he prepared for the training of his knights to her.

Melissa drank it without doubting his words, and soon, she was starting to feel its effect.

Now there was only one last task remaining, and then he would be free. He stretched his body and headed for the room assigned to the couple.

Inside, the village chief and his wife, who were already informed by the maids of his arrival beforehand, were waiting for him.

"Greetings to the Governor," Karl spoke, extremely nervous. Today, his wife was finally going to be healed; how could he not be nervous?

"Please take care of me," Delicia added, performing a knightly bow.

Reinhardt acknowledged their presence before getting directly to business. "As I promised before, I am here to heal you. Do you have any questions or concerns before we begin?"

Delicia shook her head, and Karl had no idea what was going on, so he did not say anything.

"In that case, please lie down on the bed".
