The Adaptive Quincy of Bleach

Chapter 12: Even more Training (12)

Two Months Later

Over the course of two months, Sora had honed his skills to a brand new level. He started using the wheel less and less as his skills made the gap between his adapted self and his actual skill so close that it made no difference which version he was.

He was currently in the Ishida family forest doing what he had learned. He was presently training, and the feint Reishi in the area seemed to be drawn to one specific spot. The Area glowed faintly under the twilight sky, illuminating it in a shimmering blue color.

Sora Quincy's bow could be seen. It took the boy just a second to make his bow, about three seconds to make his arrows and a little bit more to make more weaponry.

The boy's movement was sharp and unwavering. He let loose a series of arrows at the targets, who were spread out throughout the clearing.

Each arrow found its mark, carved a neat into the practice dummy and nearby trees.

He did decently well for someone who has only been training his Quincy technique for the past 2 months or so.

He could probably beat Soken. However, the man was an old man, still a strong old man, but Sora could outlast him. If worse came to worse, he had already started adapting to the man's spiritual pressure alongside his reiryoku.

He was fine, the old man wouldn't do shit to him.

He was big Sora.

Unaware of the amount of glaze Sora was giving himself, Soken observed the boy silently beneath the trees, his arm crossed and a satisfied gleam in his eyes.

In just two months, the boy had transformed from a wide-eyed novice into a disciplined and skilled Quincy.

The boy's talent for manipulating Reishi was out of this world. It was as if his body had adapted for this specific purpose.

The boy's control over Reishi was rivaling his own control....in his prime

The elder's gaze lingered on the boy as he executed a series of techniques.

Sora took in a deep breath, he did not need his adapting for this.

Sora summoned his Heilig Bogen, basically his holy bow. I don't know why it was called holy; it was just a bow made out of Reishi, but to each their own, I guess.

The bow was quite stable, really. Its edges were quite stable and less jagged, and the bow glowed with a steady blue light.

He then conjured an arrow and fired it, looking slightly annoyed. Using a bow felt weird to him.

He couldn't explain, but something about using a bow did not fit well with him.

He then pulled out his, Seele Schneider, the blade spun through the air and embedded itself into the heart of another target.

Yes, he had thrown the blade what about it?

Sora paused for a bit, his breathing quite steady, before withdrawing a small silver from his pouch.

"Sprenger," As those words left his mouth, he poured Reishi into the Ginto. He cast it onto the ground before activating the silver tube energy. Though he refrained from unleashing its destructive power entirely, only about 10% of his Reishi was used for it give or take.

He felt bad for the rock caught in the middle of his preparation.

Yeah, the Rock no longer existed after the attack had finished; it was reduced to nothing more than ash.

Yes...praise him. He alone stood at the top of the food chain of a 9-year-old. He alone was the predator.

Soken stepped forward, his quiet footsteps drew Sora's attention from glazing himself too much.

"That was excellent," the old man said, his voice warm but reserved. "Your precision and control have improved significantly, Sora. Your use of the Ginto is awe-inspiring—most Quincy your age struggle with the complexity of such techniques."

Sora had an expression on his face that seemed to say.

'Yes...glaze me more'

However he just smiled and acted quite humble, he was the most humble person on this planet.

Soken, however, would not let arrogance be his prodigy's downfall.

"Your arrows as refined as they are, still use too much reishi for the simple task you wish for them to accomplish, remember it's not about how much you use, it's how efficiently you use it," The man said in a voice filled with wisdom.

Sora nodded earnestly. "I'll keep working on that."

The old man smiled at the boy, in just 2 months, the boy had about outmatched the progress Uryu had made in 3 years.

If Uryu were considered a genius, then Sora would be considered a genius even among geniuses, a monster, one might even say.

His room for growth seems infinite and probably infinite if the boy already possesses a shrift.

His original plan had been to get Uryu to deal with the leech of the Quincy, by using the Sanrei glove...however, this plan could change, considering that Sora seems to have a piece of 'him' and because of that, 'he' won't be able to see the boy future.

The perfect counter.

A/N...Completing the 2.0 Event right now, this stuff is giving me ideas on how to make a Ginto-Kido hybrid for Quincy...
