The Accidental Supreme: Limitless Regression and Endless Fiancées

Chapter 7: Chapter 7 – The Vampire Princess and the Endless Regression

Ryo's mind reeled as he stood before the stone slab for the second time. I died again… but how?

He clenched his fists, taking in the familiar scene—the murmuring students, the demon opponent standing across from him, and the instructor watching with the same sharp gaze. Everything was exactly as before.

No. Not exactly. This time, he was prepared.

Determined to change his fate, Ryo adjusted his stance. He altered his approach in the rematch, wielding his blood abilities more efficiently. His movements were sharper, his instincts keener. Each regression refined his combat skills, making him stronger than before.

His opponent attacked with the same reckless aggression, but this time, Ryo anticipated the moves, dodging with ease. His control over Blood Weaponry had improved—he formed precise blood needles, launching them with deadly accuracy.

Within moments, he exploited an opening and delivered a devastating blow, knocking the demon student to the ground.

The match was over.

He had won—again.

Just as the match ended, an unfamiliar yet powerful presence filled the training ground.

A silver-red haired girl with crimson eyes walked in, her expression unreadable. She carried herself with an air of absolute confidence, her gaze sweeping over the students before locking onto Ryo.

Whispers spread through the crowd.

"That's her… The Vampire Princess…"

"Why is she here?"

Ryo, still catching his breath from the fight, felt an uneasy chill crawl down his spine.

The girl took a step forward, her piercing crimson eyes narrowing as she studied him.

Her eyes widened, and she whispered, "This blood… Impossible."

Ryo tensed. What does she mean?

The murmuring around them faded as the Vampire Princess stepped closer, her gaze filled with a mix of shock and curiosity.

"You," she said, her voice cold yet commanding. "Who are you?"

Ryo, still recovering from the battle, blinked. "Uh… Ryo Takashi?"

Silence stretched between them as her expression turned unreadable.

Then, after a tense moment, she declared in front of everyone:

"Ryo Takashi is my fiancé."

The entire training ground erupted into chaos.

"WHAT?!"

Even the teacher, who had remained neutral until now, was visibly stunned.

Ryo felt his stomach drop. Wait… WHAT?!

His opponent, still groaning on the ground, looked just as shocked as the rest of the students.

The Vampire Princess didn't waver. Her crimson eyes bore into Ryo's, her tone leaving no room for argument. "I've decided. You're mine."

Ryo had no idea how to respond. How did winning a match suddenly turn into an engagement proposal?!

Before he could protest, the teacher cleared his throat. "Princess, I'm not sure this is how engagements usually work—"

"It is for me." Her tone silenced any further discussion.

Ryo could only stare in disbelief as his entire life took yet another unpredictable turn.

Waiting for Death

After the chaos of the day, Ryo returned to his dorm, his mind a storm of confusion.

First, I regressed again. Then, I won the match more easily. And now… I somehow got engaged to a Vampire Princess?

He sat on his bed, rubbing his temples. Something wasn't right. In his previous regression, he died before making it to the next morning.

Determined to find out how, he forced himself to stay awake.

Hours passed in silence.

Then—a noise outside his door.

The doorknob twisted, and the door creaked open. A group of demon students stepped in, their eyes filled with hostility.

Ryo's heart pounded.

So, this is how I died last time.

There were nine of them—six senior students and three lower-class demons, including the opponent he had just defeated.

His body tensed. He had expected this, but the level gap between them was too high.

He fought back—but died instantly.

Regression after Regression

Ryo opened his eyes.

Back in his dorm.

I died again.

This time, he prepared better, adjusting his strategy.

He lasted longer. But still, he died.

Again.

And again.

And again.

With each regression, his skills sharpened. His reflexes improved. His blood manipulation grew faster and more lethal.

By his eighth attempt, he wasn't just surviving—he was winning.

The Eighth Life – The Turning Point

As the demons entered his dorm once more, Ryo didn't hesitate.

His blood needles formed instantly, striking with deadly precision. He dodged their attacks with ease, countering with lethal force.

He fought with calculated savagery, breaking bones, slicing flesh, overwhelming them.

By the end of the fight, nearly all of them lay on the floor—unmoving.

For the first time, he had won.

The sound of battle had alerted the dorm guards.

A group of instructors rushed into the room, their expressions hard as they took in the scene of battered, unconscious students.

One of them—a senior academy official—turned to Ryo. "What happened here?"

Ryo, covered in blood but still standing, exhaled slowly.

"They attacked me," he said simply. "I defended myself."

The official studied him for a long moment before nodding. "Self-defense is within your rights. We'll take these students to the infirmary."

With that, the unconscious attackers were carried away.

Ryo, now alone in his dorm, let out a heavy breath.

Even though he had survived, his mind was restless.

I can't afford to let my guard down. Not even for a second.

He laid down, staring at the ceiling, unable to sleep.
