SYSTEM OF THE BONE DEMON

Kurtz stood frozen in place still looking at the bony husk of what had been his mother. He never thought that he would feel much emotion for her demise, in fact the excitement to see his mother had died in him immediately he had realized she was a human, such lowly creature, he detest them.

However, on setting his sight on her, he was blown off.

Yes, His mother was not powerful.

Yes, she was not overbearing and her beauty was not even off charts but she was her. A firm woman with unbending will, fearless even in face of a predator and now he could understand why his father would want her, he understood the very instant he had heard her spoke.

Looking at her now, a sudden need to hear her voice came over him, her dependable voice felt like the only thing that had been missing in his life all along. He wanted to feel her regal aura, to see her elegant face but that has become impossible, the Queen had taken his mother away from him and she had did so in the cruelest manner.

“What have you done, Lilith?” the King eventually found his voice as he walked towards the Queen, his golden eyes glowing powerfully as great power exuded from him, “how dare you kill her!, how dare you kill Eleanor!!” he shouted and blood red aura exploded outward from him as his body rose slightly above the ground, the power was so great that the King was now floating, his eyes glaring towards the Queen in great rage.

“She has only done what was supposed to have been done, a long time ago.” A voice spoke from the side. The King shift his gaze as six other golden eyed Vampires emerged from behind the Queen and his eyes widen.

“Even you Morgana” the King spoke looking at his daughter standing in the midst of the six and she looked down.

“You have been a weak King, Axim, you mated a human and even brought the spawn into the palace, have you no shame?” the Queen spoke walking forwards, “Now, we have come to do your job for you, don’t stop us.” she concluded before a Vampire behind her shot towards Kurtz with terrifying speed.

The King’s figure blurred forward, intercepting the attacking vampire in an instant, and his punched slammed into the Vampire sending him flying back into the distance.

“I know you would protect him, why, why do you love the child of a human so much.” Morgana screamed her eyes also glowing as she glared at her father.

“Because he is my child, just like you are.” the King said and the Princess stared at him for a moment, anger apparent on her face before she disappeared from her position in a blur.

“That stupid girl, I guess she is too loyal to go against you but I don’t care, my loyalty is more to the Kingdom than you and the Kingdom wants him destroyed.” the Queen declared just as the one who had been sent flying off by the King joined the five behind her again, already healed off all wound.

“I will take care of the bastard, you five hold him off” the Queen commanded moving swiftly but before the King could intercept her, the other five Vampire’s had attacked successfully stopping him from interfering.

Kurtz was still frozen in place as the world seems to have disappeared from his senses, all he could see were his mother hand stretched towards him as a large dark river swept her away but he could not save her, he was too weak too far away, he just could not save her.

“Die bastard!” a scream suddenly reached his ear and the river disappeared, his mother face disappeared and Kurtz found himself back in the reality, with the bony body of his mother still in his hand while he felt great danger approached from above.

Looking there, he could see the Queen descending unto him, her eyes glowing powerfully while great amount of dense crimson aura covered her which was shaped in a claw slamming down upon him.

He immediately spring back but it was too late, the attack slammed right into his figure and Kurtz felt a crushing force impacted him. His body was violently flung into the ground bouncing a few times before eventually skidding to a stop.

Electrifying pain fired through Kurtz body as he felt every single bone in him being crushed, but even that pain paled in comparison to what he was feeling in his mind. “Where is she? Where is mother?” he thought looking around, soon, his eyes soon caught some few bones scattered around the place and he was sure of it, those were his mother’s bones, her body had been destroyed during the Queen’s attack.

“What, you survived” the Queen spoke with great surprise looking towards and he looked back at her.

The Queen visibly flinched looking at Kurtz as she noticed a strange change in his eyes, there were no more white in them now, the bastard’s eyes had simply turn into two black holes.

His transformation however did not end there, white bones like substance suddenly began to materialize over his skin and soon he was wholly covered in a bony armor. From his shoulder down to his hand, bony spikes extended before ending into a single bone sword over his right arm while the left ended in five bony claws.

“Demon, that is really what you are” the Queen said shakily before closing her eyes for a moment and calming herself down, opening her eyes back, she spoke, “but what more could I expect from an Hybrid, this is even more reason to get rid of you” she said blasting forwards and Kurtz sprang forward from the ground to meet her.

His bone sword stabbed right towards the Queen’s head but she tilted it in an instant before her own claw struck right on Kurtz head. His knees jerked down but he recovered in an instant and his other hand grabbed into the Queen’s arm before he pulled forwards slamming his knees into her torso.
