Chapter 192 - The Unbearable Weight of an Evil Existence
The Superior Void Dracling landed with a thud in the distance, but it didn't stay down for long. It burst from the rubble and walls it had been sent through, letting out a roar of pure fury that shook the very ground. Its body, though covered in dust and debris, was completely unharmed, a testament to its immense power. The creature was even more ferocious than before, its eyes glowing with a renewed hatred... The fight was far from over, and it was clear that Emir's punch had only served to enrage it.
The monster that was Emir, the 'Demonic King: Death Chimera', roared back, a sound that was a chaotic blend of three different beasts. It was a perfect mirror of the Dracling, a creature of pure power and malice against a creature of pure, raw strength. The two titans, albeit their size difference, stared each other down, a tense silence falling over the battlefield, until, with a final roar, they both lunged at each other.
The rest of the group, who had scrambled to their feet and were now watching the fight from a safe distance, were in complete disbelief.
"Is that... really Emir?"
Chloe asked, her voice a soft, terrified whisper.
"I don't know."
Drake said, his eyes glued to the monstrous battle. He had tried to use his trait, [Heavenly Vision], but he couldn't see any information. The enormous beast that Emir had transformed into was still the boy himself, a user and not a creature of the scenario.
Katya, still wearing the goddess's mask, had her scythe in hand, her face a mask of awe and apprehension.
"I can't sense him either."
She said, her voice a low murmur.
"And what if he can't deal with the black dragon-human-thing?"
Kazue asked, her voice filled with a motherly worry. That was something everyone was concerned with, even more than their surprise about the kid's transformation.
The Empress, in Adam's body, remained silent, but her [Cursed Vision] allowed her to see a bit more. She could see a faint, white aura surrounding the monster that was Emir, but the only information she could get was not a lot.

The Empress gritted her teeth in anger. She was still in pain from the cut Charles had given her, and she was enraged at the loss of her power. She looked at Charles, who was still standing next to her with his sword in hand, and she snarled at him. He simply shrugged, his expression unreadable, and continued to watch the fight.
The fight between the Dracling and Emir continued, a brutal, bone-shattering ballet of destruction. The Dracling, with its powerful claws and extremely fast movements, would dart around the massive form of the Death Chimera, delivering quick, powerful blows. It would slash at Emir's gigantic legs, then jump up and land a vicious attack on his chest before darting away. It would also spit torrents of black fire from its maw, which would explode on impact against Emir's monstrous skin, leaving behind charred and smoking wounds.
The kid, being a giant, slow-moving monster, did not dodge or block any of the Dracling's attacks. He simply took them all. And though they did do damage, it wasn't a lot, so Emir continued to endure. But being so large and slow, none of his physical attacks could land on the Dracling. He would swing his massive, clawed hand at his enemy, but the creature would simply dart out of the way, laughing with a cruel, mocking cackle before counterattacking. The fight was a painful, brutal, and seemingly endless stalemate.
The rest of the group did not know what to do. Should they help? But Drake stopped them, saying they would be more of a hindrance than anything else.
"We can only observe and look for an opportunity, not simply jump in headfirst."
He said, his voice now filled with the cold logic of a warrior. On the other hand, alter Kazue and Nikolai were watching the fight with different expressions. The girl's face was a mask of barely contained anger, while the guy seemed more nervous than anything else. Charles, meanwhile, continued to watch the Empress, his katana still pointed at her, as he had noticed that she had tried to escape when everyone was distracted.
After receiving a lot of damage, the monstrous Death Chimera roared, and a surge of red energy erupted from its body, which it then unleashed as a massive shockwave. Nobody knew what that had been, but for the third time that day, all of them, with the exception of Drake, Katya, and alter Kazue, fell to the ground violently, as if a strange force had stolen their strength. This was not gravity but a strange energy that had robbed them of their power. The original Kazue had to quickly summon Kurayami again to help them get back up, but while that was happening to them, the Dracling, who was in the sky, was also hit directly by the energy wave and began to sway, clearly affected. This was enough time for Emir to use both of his gigantic claws to clap his hands together, trapping the Dracling in the process.
The Dracling was caught in Emir's massive claws but used its own powerful arms to prevent them from closing, beginning a battle of strength. However, the Death Chimera did not wait any longer, and while struggling with the Dracling, he began to charge red energy directly in his mouth.
Upon realizing this, the Dracling did the same and launched a torrent of black fire toward the monster, but Emir did the same, launching a torrent of red energy from his jaws. Both energies, cursed fire and raw power, clashed in the air, equal in strength; however, because Emir's torrent of energy was much larger, it ended up completely covering the Dracling's black fire and reaching it, enveloping it completely while it was still imprisoned in the monster's claws.
The energy blast that Emir had fired, upon hitting the ground, created an extremely violent explosion. It was not a normal explosion, but a wave of raw, destructive power that sent a massive cloud of dust and debris flying into the air. The users who were watching had to cover themselves and brace for impact as the force of the blast washed over them. The air was filled with the deafening sound of crumbling stone and the hiss of superheated air, and for a moment, they were all blinded by the sheer intensity of the light.
With the impact of the torrent of energy, the Dracling's strength gave way, and Emir was finally able to close his claws, crushing it in a powerful clap that caused a very strong shockwave. The Death Chimera roared again, separating its claws and letting the Dracling's wounded body fall to the ground; however, the creature was still moving and ready to get up at any moment, only to be immediately met with a devastating downward punch from Emir, then another, and another, and another... The giant beast brutally mauled the Dracling's body for more than a minute, each punch he landed against the ground causing a small tremor that shook the entire place, before letting out a final, violent roar just to stand completely still out of nowhere.

The rest of the users sighed in relief, thinking that the Dracling had been defeated. It was hard to believe that anything could have survived what the monstrous Emir had just done. However, the problem now was what to do with him... Could he return to normal on his own? Drake tried to take a few steps forward, but alter Kazue stopped him, holding him back with an arm across his chest.
"Don't move."
She said with her voice filled with urgency.
"That 'child' on your team is the 'King of Monsters', a sadistic user from the damned 'Team Abyss' and one of Adam Scholar's 'Cursed Commanders'... A monster in the guise of a kid who brings nothing but death and destruction whenever he transforms."
Drake was completely confused by what alter Kazue was saying. It made no sense. Emir was a child who had always been with them. Was she talking about the version of him from this "dimension" or something?
But before he could say anything, the original Kazue, who had now fully recovered from the impact of the previous energy wave, slipped past everyone, approaching the base of the imposing figure of the Death Chimera that had been standing still.
"Emir!"
She shouted, her voice filled with joy.
"You did it! You were so cool! You totally kicked his butt!"
However, Emir did not respond. The colossal eyes of the beast he had become suddenly turned, as if he had just noticed the presence of Kazue and the others. The joy and smile on Kazue's face froze and vanished the moment she saw the kaiju slowly raise his enormous, monstrous arm and launch it toward her. Fortunately, Drake was fast enough, using his wings and his [Heavenly Wind Step] to grab the girl and pull her out of the impact area just in time. The beast's fist hit the ground with such force that the earth trembled, cracking and causing a massive shockwave.
"What's wrong with Emir?!"
Kazue screamed, her voice filled with panic. Drake carried her in his arms back to the rest of the group and put her down safely.
"If I had to guess, the same thing that happens to Adam is happening to him… He doesn't have control over his transformation."
He replied with concern in his words.
"Then what the hell can we do?! We couldn't do anything against the damned Dracling, and now we're supposed to fight a beast that tore it to pieces without effort?!"
Li said, his voice now filled with despair.
"The only option is to try and kill him with everything we have."
Alter Kazue said, her hand already agitating her light sword. But Drake raised his voice and told her to shut up. He then pointed to the monstrous Emir.
"Look at him!"
Everyone looked up at the monster's head, noticing that he was panting and seemed tired. He hadn't moved again since the attack on Kazue. Drake said that he was tired, taking Adam as an example again. He was sure that his energy was dropping drastically since the transformation was uncontrolled, so he would collapse at any moment.
"If we're lucky, he'll return to his normal state when all his energy runs out. This isn't the first time we've seen something like this, so all we have to do is dodge until that happens."
After that, the Death Chimera began to move again, roaring and trying to attack the users clumsily and slowly. The whole group, who were now prepared, quickly separated and ran in all directions, except for Drake. Instead of dodging, he flew quickly toward the gigantic Emir, beginning to hover near his monstrous head like a mosquito. The kaiju tried to shake him off, roaring and swinging his long, muscular arms, but it was impossible. He was now slower than before, and just like with the Dracling, Drake had no problem dodging him.
The gigantic beast became slower and slower. The immense weight of its body, combined with the strain of the transformation, was taking its toll until it finally let its arms drop and lowered his head, panting heavily. The air from his monstrous lungs came out in thick, heavy gasps, and his movements became sluggish, almost like a machine running out of fuel. Drake, with his eyes locked on the beast, gritted his teeth and waited for this moment, praying that the transformation would end. He had to be patient, he knew, but every passing second felt like an eternity. He had to wait for the right moment, the moment when Emir would finally return to normal.
Finally, it happened. The same malicious energy that had transformed Emir enveloped the monster's enormous body, and it began to lose its size at a brutally fast rate. Drake flew forward with his wings, noticing that due to the size of the monster, Emir's original body would return to normal in the air.
Just as he thought, it happened, but before the completely unconscious boy could fall to the ground, Drake caught him in his arms with great care. He laughed nervously and looked at the child with a kind smile.
"I would never have imagined such a reckless attitude coming from you… You really are a lot like Adam, huh?"
The group reunited as Drake landed with Emir in his arms.
"Okay, the first thing we have to do is get out of here as soon as possible, find somewhere to hide and…"
He said. However, just as he said that, a roar boomed through the place, a familiar one. Everyone turned their heads and saw the ground explode as the body of the Void Dracling, which they thought had been defeated by Emir, got up. He was extremely wounded and was panting, but he was still emanating as much energy as ever. Drake couldn't help but scream.
"That thing is still alive?!"
The black beast roared and launched itself like a rocket toward the users despite its wounded state. Drake had no way to intercept it as he was holding Emir in his arms, so this time, Katya and the original Kazue jumped forward. Katya with her living scythe and Kazue invoking her mechanical gauntlets.
The clash was brutal, but even wounded, the Dracling managed to win and give them a slash so strong that the earth cracked even more, creating a huge crack in the ground from which everyone had to jump to avoid falling in. However, Nikolai and Kazue were not so lucky. Due to their position, they both lost their balance and began to fall. Drake and Katya both screamed at the same time.
"Kazue!"
While alter Kazue looked at Nikolai without being able to do anything to help him due to her jumping in the opposite direction. And that wasn't all. Because of this, the Dracling had gained ground and was now preparing to launch a fierce attack against those two, who, in mid-fall, would not be able to defend themselves adequately.
Neither Drake, Katya, nor alter Kazue could move in time to defend them. It could be the end of both... But then, a strange white projectile shot through the air, passing over everyone's heads without touching them, and impacted directly on the Dracling's forehead with such force that it pushed him backward, just enough to prevent its attack. But even so, Kazue and Nikolai were still falling.
A white beam of light shot through the air in a flash and went straight into the crack. Then, both Kazue and Nikolai felt something grab them. The long-haired guy was grabbed by one of his legs and was now hanging upside down, while Kazue had been grabbed by her arm. A voice spoke to them, calmly but mockingly.
"I knew something weird was going on when you guys didn't contact the rest of us after all this time."
The voice said.
"But I didn't expect to see you like this, in such a pathetic situation."
Nikolai was startled and began to make excuses, trying to explain what had happened, but the man simply smiled and said sarcastically.
"Aha... should I drop you then?"
With a malicious grin on his face, the man let go of Nikolai's leg, just above the hole, making him hit headfirst into the ground, but at least out of danger.
Kazue finally had a moment to notice who had rescued them. It was a man with white hair, quite muscular, wearing a black tank top, military pants, and, for some reason, standing on what looked like a huge floating coffin. She recognized him immediately. It was the same man she had seen when she first arrived in the system, the first leader they had, the veteran who had explained the basics of the scenarios when they were just rookies. Kazue screamed in disbelief.
"Teo?!"
