Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 497: I won't leave you alone

"So Milena is the fiancee that our family has chosen for you? And that's why she was in Rumbus, and you asked your system to seal some of her memories and started courting her? Arabel asked Arslan through a mental link, trying not to let anyone hear their conversation, especially Irene.

"Yes, you got it right, Sister.", — Arslan confirmed, nodding.

"Ehh..." — Arabel sighed.

She had already noticed that Irene and Arslan had a difficult relationship, and she didn't want to interfere in it, at least not until she found out what was really going on between them.

"Dan was right," — Arabel said. This conversation allowed her to dispel the misunderstanding she had encountered in Rumbus about her brother's behavior and his relationship with Milena, although Irene and their son were waiting for him in the capital.

Now that her brother had shared his story, Arabel began to understand and finally realized the role Milena had played in all of this.

"The family continues to follow its policy..." — this conversation with her brother also gave her useful information about the Morgan family, that during the years of her absence, the family had not changed at all.

While Arabel was lost in thought, she received a message from the System that the Lovers' Plate had been delivered.

Using her "All-seeing eye" ability, she quickly discovered where the Lovers' Plate had been moved. To her surprise, Idan placed her in one of the rooms on the second floor of their house.

"At last, we have the opportunity to communicate with each other again, even when we are apart," Arabel thought happily. She immediately wanted to ask Idan how he was doing, but decided to end the conversation with her brother first.

After discussing Arslan's relationship with Milena, Arabel asked about Arslan's relationship with Irene. He openly told her how difficult things were going for them.

Arslan immediately asked Arabel not to interfere in their relationship. He wanted to sort out his problems with Irene on his own. In the end, it was his own behavior that caused their difficulties, and he wanted to fix it himself.

"And you, sister, how long are you going to hide from family?" asked Arslan, feeling that the conversation was coming to an end.

"Hmm... I don't even know," Arabel replied, having not yet decided on the answer herself. "Dan and I have so many things to do, and I don't want to add family issues to them. Although it doesn't bother me much anymore, my disclosure can still cause a lot of trouble."

"But I don't plan on hiding for long, and sooner or later they'll find out about me," she added.

If Arabel had obediently followed their instructions earlier because of her family's influence on her, now she had her own views and desires on life, and she no longer wanted her family to dictate how to live.

This confidence was reinforced by the strength she possessed, and Arabel was ready to fight for it.

The voice inside her, which was triggered by the memories of her first Ascension Trial, urged her to deal with her family in order to get rid of all the problems. However, Arabel tried not to give in to these feelings.

The situation Arabel was in now was very different from the one during the Ascension Trial.

No matter how much she hated her family, it was her family that shaped her personality, and Arabel couldn't just erase it all.

"I'm a little jealous of you, sister," Arslan admitted honestly. "Not only your strength and ability, but also your relationship with Idan."

With these words, Arslan hinted at what he had recently witnessed between her and Idan.

Arabel didn't say anything, just smiled back at him. She couldn't tell him that it was all possible thanks to their System.

"Okay, don't worry about the family either," Arabel said confidently.

"If anything, you can rely on me. I won't leave you alone. After all, I'm your elder sister," Arabel said, deliberately emphasizing the word "elder."

"I'll take you at your word, elder sister," Arslan replied, laughing, also emphasizing the word "elder."

Arabel, deciding that this was the end of their conversation, looked around.

"Coco," she called to the little scoundrel. "I know you're here and you can hear me, so come out."

However, even after these words, the little fox did not appear.

"Coco, if you don't come out now, you won't get any more candy," Arabel threatened, and as she expected, it worked. A small rift opened in front of her, from which a small fox jumped out with a small backpack on its back.

When Coco appeared, she did not look into her mistress's eyes, being afraid of her. She wasn't stupid and understood that she had upset her, so she tried to stay away. But the threat that she would not receive the sweets forced her to leave.

Arabel wanted to scold Coco, but she restrained herself, remembering the conversation with Idan and his request to leave her alone.

"I wonder what Dan is up to?" she thought, wondering how Idan was going to punish this naughty girl.

"Coco, please give me the Manual that your Master gave you for safekeeping," Arabel asked, and Coco took off her small backpack and took out the first volume of the Manual to the Path of the Beast Tamer.

Arslan couldn't stop being amazed by this little fox from the beginning to the end. Everything that was happening looked so funny that he wanted to laugh, especially when she took out a huge book from her small backpack.

Arabel got up from her chair and went inside the house, with Arslan following her.

However, before she could enter, she ran into the others, who, as it turned out, were about to go outside.

"Is something wrong?" she asked.

"Nothing special," Milica replied. "Sierra was almost out of time, and Lucinda and I decided to return to Limbo with her and Izzy. I think that's enough for the first time."

"Hmm... that's it. All right," Arabel nodded. "As I said earlier, you can come whenever you want."

"Okay," — Milica nodded.

"We made a small list of things, little sister, and handed it to the little dragon," Sierra said, smiling.

Arabel didn't understand who Sierra called a little dragon at first, but when she saw Hailey's confusion, she immediately guessed who she was talking about.

"Tomorrow, me or the little dragon will deliver these things here," Arabel replied laughing, and the others joined her, making fun of Hailey.

"Arabel," — Milica called, not forgetting to warn, "I will be unavailable for some time."

"All right, Master. I wish you success in advance," Arabel said, understanding where Milica was going and why.

"Thank you," Milica thanked her.

Then, after saying goodbye, the three women returned to Limbo before their time was up, leaving Arabel, Irene, Arslan, Esma, and Hailey alone.
