Chapter 481: Private home
"Dan, Dan," — Arabel called to Idan, distracting him from his thoughts as he tried to process what he had read.
"Can we go there now?" she asked, not hiding her impatience.
"Of course, we can," Idan replied.
"Okay, then let's go right now and take a look at our house." Arabel couldn't wait any longer, she couldn't wait to see what had appeared there. During the day, her thoughts were focused on the house, not on the new abilities of their territory.
At that moment, two little foxes appeared in the kitchen.
"You're just in time," — Arabel rejoiced at the appearance of the cubs.
"Okay, let's go take a look at our house," Idan suggested, and Arabel opened a new Access Portal.
Unlike the Access Door, which looked like a rectangular door, the Portal had a round shape.
After passing through the portal, Idan and Arabel, accompanied by two fox cubs and Rizzy, found themselves inside the barrier of their territory, right in its center.
The portal led them to a green lawn in front of a two-story wooden house. Arabel's eyes shone with delight when she saw the house. It was exactly as he and Idan had assembled it in the System window.
Arabel couldn't wait to explore every corner of the house, and Idan picked up Rizzy and let her go first. The two little foxes followed her, and Idan followed slowly with Rizzy in his arms.
Rizzy, once in his arms, started demanding some of his blood again. Idan held out his finger to her, allowing her to enjoy his blood.
The house, as they had planned, turned out to be neither too big nor too small.
There was a small terrace in front of the entrance, on which all the necessary and not very necessary pieces of furniture were installed.
The front door, like the house itself, was made of wood, the name of which Idan did not remember. However, he knew for sure that it was worth a lot of System Points. Moreover, this tree did not grow in their world, and Idan was not sure which world it was from.
Idan and Arabel took special care in choosing the material for their house. They preferred natural wood, rejecting concrete and modern solutions, striving to create an atmosphere of comfort and warmth.
On the ground floor of the house there is a spacious living room and an equally spacious kitchen. In addition, there was a small storage room, two guest rooms and a bathroom with a separate guest bathroom.
On the second floor there were only bedrooms, each of which had its own bathroom with a bathtub. All the rooms were designed in the same style, even with the same furniture. It was a conscious choice by Idan and Arabel, who decided that in the future, when the time comes, they will rebuild everything in their own way.
Despite the fact that both of them have already reached the Golden Rank, Idan and Arabel have not abandoned their old vision of a private home. They decided that as they lived, they would make changes to his appearance in accordance with their needs and desires.
The lighting and appliances in the house did not run-on electricity, but on a completely different energy source. Idan and Arabel didn't have to worry about charging it, as it self-charged by absorbing energy from the environment.
The house also had a protection against unwanted surveillance, which prevented even the Soul force from entering.
They spent 20,000 System Points on all expenses. If Idan and Arabel had converted all these points into regular money, the amount would have been huge.
As in the case of wood, most of the funds were spent on materials. None of the materials used to build this house could be found in their world.
At first glance, this house looked quite ordinary, but there was something unique about it.
Idan and Arabel were delighted with their new home.
When Arabel finished examining him, they both received a notification from the System.:
[Hosts, do you want to link this house to the System?]
"Did you like it?" Idan asked Arabel, ignoring the System's question.
"Yes," she nodded with a smile. "It's exactly as we planned."
"Shall we link it up then?" he asked, and Arabel nodded again.
"Yes, System, link this house," Idan said.
[Ding! The linking of the two-storey wooden house was successful.]
[Hosts can now open the "Home Editor" and rebuild it to their liking using System Points and personal materials. This does not require an active "Construction" function.]
This house was not just a private dwelling, but a real artifact that Idan and Arabel could modify and improve as they advanced in rank.
They found out about this only after they completed the design of their house in the System Window and sent its sketch to the Supreme Builder System.
Back then, they could not even imagine that everything that the Supreme Builder System created became a high-class artifact, unlike what the couple could create on their own using the "Building" function.
Only then did they realize what was the main advantage of having their house built personally by the "Supreme Builder System."
"What now?" asked Arabel, having thoroughly enjoyed the view of the new house.
"I think it's time for us to test the new capabilities of our territory, don't you think?" Idan said, and Arabel, who had already satisfied her desire to explore the new house, immediately realized what he was hinting at.
"What should I do?" she asked.
"First, go back to the hotel and send Hailey here. I'll meet her and explain everything that needs to be done. Then go to Irene and bring them here," Idan began to explain, realizing that Arabel was perfect for this task due to her Dark Valkyrie bloodline.
"Bring everyone? Your mother too?" said Arabel.
"Hmm... let's just bring Irene, Arslan, and Esma for now. Let Bera stay to look after Aran and my mother. Besides Irene and the others, bring those three: Essora, her brother, and Milla. Now that we have our own territory and house, it's time to return them and relieve my sister and Esme of the responsibility to keep an eye on them," Idan replied. "It's also time for Esme to get to work and start getting involved in our Guild's business."
"Okay, I agree with that," Arabel nodded.
"After that, go get Leo and find out if he agrees to join our guild or not. The day you gave him to think about it is almost over," Idan reminded about Leo. "It's not necessary to bring him here today. If he agrees, then yes, bring him."
"Damn, because of all these events, I almost forgot about him myself," Arabel confessed. "And you? What are you going to do?"
"I? Of course, I will return to Limbo and link our territory in the free slot of the Territory Anchor №2," Idan openly revealed his plans. "It's time for the inhabitants of the two worlds with whom we are familiar to meet each other. Don't you think so?"
Arabel's eyes brightened, and she quickly nodded in agreement with Idan.
As Idan said, it's time for the inhabitants of the two worlds to finally meet.
