Supreme Human System

Tonight the city is alive with lights that echo heaven's stars.

The city air is fresh this day, almost sweet and floral as the pace of living relaxes to a steadier rhythm.

In the moonlit hours, every light in this city is another story that is central to somebody's world.

The wind chattered through the streets, the rain danced upon the rooftops, and the sunlight contrived with the moonlight to keep the town in ever-glow.

It was a city of wide avenues and small places to sit and eat, to relax as folk went about their day. There were some small sky towers in the centre, what was once thousands metre of space now took up less ground space than a big shop. The rest was parks and wild spaces, a chance to walk among nature or enjoy the trails on horseback. Yet perhaps my favourite thing was the water tunnel that flowed through the centre, crossing the small bridges, pausing just to look at the view I saw every day and loved all the more. 

I'm so glad to be born in the era, after the struggles of the end of the insanity era, when our species almost killed our planet. It's as if there was a war going on but nobody noticed, absorbed with other battles and ideas that locked the mind. I wonder what I would have done if I'd have been alive back then, if I'd have followed the herd or been one of the shapers of the new world, the one we live in now.

Kritos glanced at the tall arena where the challenger league would be held tomorrow. 

Before the starting of the Challenger league, a fair is organized by the City head. At the fair, anyone could set up a shop and can establish game events.

This fair is the way for common people to earn huge money. So, they dedicate themselves to this fair.

Kritos wanted to roam the fair and see if he could buy something.

His main target was to locate the place where he could eat delicious foods before tomorrow's fight.

Kritos anticipated that he could easily be selected in the top 10. Moreover, completing in the top 3 is just a bit difficult.

One of the main reasons he believes that he could perhaps win the challenger league is because of the Trait Kritos awakened when he created his soul beast.

Heavenly Glare and Divine Extraction

Divine extraction was a trait while let me extract the racial trait of the first monster of all the monster species.

However, there are some conditions. Still, Kritos believed that with this trait he could easily suppress any beings.

Just thinking about the potential of his innate trait. Kritos stood there in amazement and only after a few seconds he recovered from the daze.

"Every time, I glanced at my innate trait. I could not help but to think about the power I could obtain with this trait."

Before Kritos was unable to use it due to the restriction but after two months of training and cultivation, he could use this innate trait.

He was eager to quickly obtain a racial trait of any monster before the beginning of challenger league.

Unlike Humans all monsters are born with a racial trait for survival of their species. More advanced species, More superior racial traits are present in their body.

To obtain extra powers by this innate trait Kritos decided to go to an area where a particular type of monster lives.

It was already night but with his power he didn't fear any monster from that place.

After Kritos travelled for nearly 3500 meters, he finally heard some voices talking in an unknown language. He carefully moved towards the direction where the noise is coming from.

Kritos saw 2 Green midgets with pointy ears and ugly faces through the bushes, one with a rusty Sword and another one with a rusty mace.

To Kritos surprise, they already sensed his presence and rushed towards him. Kritos picked up a small stone, and when they got even closer, he threw it at the green midget with a rusty mace in its hand.

The stone he threw hit its head and slowed the second Green midget down, and with his relatively strong body, it was easy to dodge the incoming slash from the first Green midget. 

Now that the first Green midget missed the attack there was an opening in its defense.

Since they attacked first, intending to kill him. He swept the last bit of hesitation to the back of his head and took advantage of the opening to stab it in the neck with the knife.

The moment it died, one notification appeared on the left side of Kritos vision.

Watching him kill the first goblin, the second one went even more aggressive and even though it is short in stature, it heavily swung the rusty mace upward aiming at the side of Kritos head.

However, Kritos quickly leaps and smashes the head of another goblin.

Without much thinking, Kritos uses <Divine Extraction> for the first time.

Kritos looked towards the dead Goblin that he killed first and activated his innate trait with a thought.

"Wow, isn't it an overpowered innate trait? They look so fragile but have two racial traits." 

Kritos could look at their descriptions while

using <Divine Extraction>. After a brief consideration, Kritos chose the Skill < Lesser Night Vision> since the racial trait <Nimble

Fingers> only increases dexterity of fingers.
