Pain...Sorrow…loneliness...Fear…

Many unfamiliar emotions emerge on my face when I watch the dying figure in front of me.

I watched countless worlds being destroyed in seconds. I saw the cruelest death. I am the one who is away from all seven sins. 

However, at this moment, I felt mortal emotions which buried deep inside my body.

I stared at her eyes and thought about the last ten years of experience on this planet.

I was a lonely child who suffered the death of his tribe due to a catastrophe disease. On his search, he found a tribe similar to him. At last, He felt his search come to its end.

Unconsciously a drop of tear appears out of my eyes. I gaze at her, and a lovely smile arises on her face.

Am I a terrible entity? Isn't I messing with their happy life? Do I deserve to be saved by the same kind whom I tried to kill?

The members of Ancient Elves furiously ran towards us, anyone could see the emotions in their eyes.

Suddenly, Queen Egima approaches towards me, and then she gradually wiped out the tears on my face.

My body lights up like a star, my fear mingling with her sadness, my arousal tangling with her emotion. And I know—I know—that there's no more reason to continue this war. 

"Why are you crying, Sarpa kavus? Would you miss when I return to the embrace of Divine tree?" She said with a smile

As I hear, unknowingly, I felt something which I had never felt.

She calls me by my name. She didn't call me a child.

"Promise me after I die, you will take care of our tribe. They are naive. They don't know about the external world. With your side, they will surely understand the world. You have the potential of a great leader. I might not any more see your new experiment and chunky spell, but they will. Goodbye, Sarpa Kavus."

As I hear her decreasing voice, a crushing pain appears on my feet.

"No, I can't let this happen. Egima I, Sarpa Kavus, don't want to lose you. I will save you." I shouted

The force from my soul was so devastating that the entire world stopped due to my pain and anger.

The ecosystem of the Aurora world suddenly stops working, and the world freezes in time.

Unexpectedly, I ignore the world and gaze at her unmoving body. 

It was a feeling which I had been searching for years. Father, is it the stupid feeling mortal always experiences. Is it possible that an entity like me, Could feel it?

After 2 years...

Maybe it's her smile—it's tender and sweet with just a hint of amusement. Or the way she looks at everyone so directly, without ever flinching.

Maybe we are in the battle, and she's in a battle with the monster. She feels like nobody at all is on her side when this sweaty runner wouldn't normally have noticed steps in to solve the conundrum, and I sees goodness at the core of her.

Maybe she is my unworldly nemesis, but even though she is the bane of my existence, she's competent and fierce and exudes all those qualities. A warrior at her core. Not what she told herself she wanted, but she can't hide from her ultimate happiness.

I have forgotten my objective, my identity ànd my purpose. I guess I couldn't change her, but she changed me.

She still calls me a child, but now I just smile—a smile where one could see the happiness in it.

Now, I feel my existence in this world is only for her. 

Now, I am only a male ancient elven who serves his queen. 

"Queen Egima, can we go? Soon night dominates the world, and it's not safe."

"Ohh, child of the Divine tree, what are you afraid of when this queen is on your side."

"But you could injure."

"Aren't you on my side? Why am I afraid of anyone when the best healer of our tribe is on my side. In Tribe, people say you can even bring a dead person to life. Isn't it?" She smiled after saying it.

I could only nod my head in her agreement.

Days pass and turn into years, but I still remember the love I felt for the first time.

Twenty years had passed after the devastating war between Monster and Ancient Elves.

Presently, thirty years have flown since I landed in this world, and I was never able to express my feelings.

Maybe I just love standing beside her and peeking at her from the sides.

On the other hand, the Ancient Elves race had advanced by leaps and many youths had even gone to adventure and explore the vast world.

Now, Ancient elves learn the importance of Reproduction. Nonetheless, their fertility rate is too low.

It is so low that I had never seen a single female elf who bore two children in her life. 

I had also suggested the rules for mutual relationships in society. Like the couple will forever live together with each other, and a certain age is required before choosing your couple.

The Queen has undergone a transformation after reaching a 5-star magician, which has increased her age by 500 years.

Till now, I remain silent about the matter of choosing a couple. As a talented mage, I had many proposals, but I respectfully refused them, saying I want to focus on magic.

Currently, I am a person who invented many devices and magic spells.

However, today there is a uproar in the tribe. Elder officials had decided to choose a person for the Queen. The particular reason for this decision is to continue the line of Queen Egima because her potential is special.

It is the main reason I never confess my feelings to Queen Egima. As a birth-less entity and a star forger, I can't have my descendent. It is like a curse to all the creatures who are born with the Universe's energy.

I merely heard this news from young elves. They all were excited after listening to the news. 

Anyone can enlist their name to the official, and then two days later Queen will herself choose one of them from the list. 

I ignored the announcement and headed back to my house. There was a sadness on my face, perhaps a bit of pain. But I was happy that finally she willingly decided to choose a partner for herself.

Two days passed in the blink of eyes, and I isolated myself from this event.

Nonetheless, I wasn't able to avoid her. She informally visited my house today.

I can see anger and fury in her eyes. Before I could say anything, she leaps towards me and punches my head.

And again, before I asked the reason, Queen Egima grabbed my neck and furiously gazed at me.

Although I don't know the reason, I remain silent and just ignore her gaze. 

However, she kept staring at me. After an awkward silence, I nervously asked," Queen Egima, What happened? Did I do something wrong? Could you explain it? or I will feel uncomfortable."

In response, she angrily said," You need an explanati--," 

Before she finished saying, tears started coming out from her eyes.

I hesitantly asked,'' What happens, Queen Egima? Why are you crying?"

However, she ignored my question and cried out," Am I not perfect for you because I am an old lady or the love I had seen in your eyes are all fake. Why don't you enlist your name in the list?"

I was shocked when I heard her words.

How does she know?

I awkwardly smiled and said,'' Queen Egima it's not like this, you are the most beautiful woman I have seen in my life. It is just that I am not capable for you.``

"Don't call me Queen. I am just Egima and you are more than enough for me. I love you, Sarpa Kavus. Please stay with me till death apart us."

Glancing at her abnormal attitudes, one would think she is a youngster rather than a Queen.

"Egima let me tell you something, I am not a Elf but an existence who was born in nothingless. My presence is just a facade to this world. I was planning to leave this world today after telling you my real identity."

I thought she would be surprised but her reaction was something which I have never thought of.

"I don't care about your identity. I just want to be with you. My life was saved by you, so you must have to take care of me."

Stubborn?

I had never thought she has this side of herself.

5000 Years later…

It has already been 100 years since I lost myself. It is the first time I felt Immortality is a curse.

I silently write something in a rock and throw it into the longest sea in the Aurora world.

"100 years have passed but not a single day goes by that you are not here in

my heart. The day you died was not just a date, it was the day when my very existence changed forever. Egima, I miss you!"
