Kritos saw an unknown boy in many of his memories. 

He now remembers the day when they met each other for the first time in the village. 

What surprises him that his memories about him are somewhat hazy. Kritos couldn't be able to recognize the face of Shivam clearly.

Kritos was horrified for a second. He recalls that when he and his family arrived at Rewa city, the name Shivam is entirely strange to me. 

Now, all of a sudden, a complete set of memories is revolving around in his mind.

Shivam! 

Did he escape from the demon invasion?

Suddenly, he recalls a memory where he met Shivam for the last time. 

Yes, Didn't Shivam was going to Rewa city to buy an ingredient for his mother?

It was unbelievable to think he forgot all the memories of his childhood friend. 

Kritos was confused, nervous, and worried about this strange phenomenon. One of his minds believed that Shivam never existed in his life, and on the other hand, a part of him thinks that he exists. 

"I have to confirm it." Kritos mumbles

At this time, Kritos has completely disregarded visiting Clan Library. He urgently needed to confirm his mind.

'Maybe Father and Mother know something about it.' Kritos thought

On the way, his mind was running chaotically, thinking about many possibilities.

At first, when he came to Rewa city, Kritos remembered playing games with his friends in the village. In his group, there was no one with the name Shivam.

But now, a new set of memories tell him that Shivam was always in his group.

Not only that, but Shivam was his best friend.

"Now I think Shivam never tells his last name. Every time I ask, Sanju ignored me and said his family had abandoned their last name," Kritos said.

After a few minutes, Kritos saw his house in his sight.

"Mother, do you remember Shivam, my

Childhood friend in the village." Sanju calmly said while watching his mother's reaction.

"Shivam?" 

After a few seconds, Radha suspectedly looked at his son

"I don't remember anyone with the name Shivam. Has he had any other name?" Radha asked with a sad tone.

Radha thought that Kritos was missing his dead childhood friends in the village. She had seen him training alone in the Clan training ground. 

For three years, he rarely talked with anyone, while when he was in the village, Kritos had many friends.

When Radha doesn't remember anyone with the name Shivam living in their village, she thought maybe the boy Shivam had two names associated with him.

The population of Makarwat village was less, approx 100 members. So, it was easy for Radha to remember the name of her son's friends. Sometimes, a person has two names. 

As Kritos heard about his mother's response, a complicated and confusing look emerges on his face.

"Mom, my best friend, Shivam. His father was also a good friend to our family. Shivam also comes to our village house." Kritos said in a worried look.

Radha saw his son's serious gesture, and again she thought of all the names of his friends.

"Kritos, are you ok? I didn't remember anyone with the name Shivam. Well, could you tell me his last name?" Radha solemnly said, even though she can forget anyone's name, she would always remember their last name. 

With an edgy and sophisticated look, Kritos gazed away, his eyes, and silently said," He doesn't have any last name; his family only used their first name."

A deep silence appears in the room; Radha angrily stares at her son and then cares his hair.

"Are you ok, son?" 

Kritos glanced at his mother then quickly ran away from the house.

"What is happening?"

"Is Shivam really just my imagination?" After a pause, Kritos continues," But it appears real, Shivam and I used to play together."

Kritos' mind experiences many changes. First, he thought that Shivam was unknown to him before the upgradation of the talent. But after that, he remembers him but can't recall his face. 

So, after thinking about many possibilities, a Fear struck in his body.

Kritos' will to learn about the elements was thoroughly lost now. 

"System, A set of memories comes into my brain after the upgrade of Instant Memorization talent. Is all this memory mine?" Kritos couldn't control himself and ask System.

He thought maybe some extraordinary being cast a magic spell on him, due to which he feels that Shivam exists.

Kritis wanted to know about the abnormality he was facing. Nonetheless, he can't lose the chance to learn about the elements.

Still, Kritos chaotic and violent thought was frightening him. He chose to ignore them and wait for the night. Maybe he was just overthinking.

[Author note: It is hard to describe the feeling, Kritos is undergoing. Just think if someone said that your best friend never exists, or you'll find that you had two separate memories. One with your friend and one without him. What will be your reaction?]

Kritos was silently learning a vast book, Understanding of Fire elements.

Earlier, he planned to read as many Element books as possible in 4 hours. However, Kritos Instant Mastery talent was affected due to his unsettled mind. Thus, it decreases his efficiency.

Now, Kritos chooses to read only the element book, which he needed.

One of the elements he chose was Fire.

With the fire element, he will be able to burn hot enough many things like the arrow which is coming towards him would melt and evaporate before reaching him. Depending on the intensity of your power, he could blast anything with his fire. Also, he can provide light in a dark room.

Kritos believe that Fire is the most powerful element in all standard or classical elements.

"FIRE is not only an element. It's a pure form of energy." Kritos read the first title of the book.
