However, the initial part of the description matched the Gate of Destiny, but Lin Shen didn't hear any mention of chains or a Destiny Lock in the Jade Emperor's depiction.

"What thing?" For the first time, the Jade Emperor asked Lin Shen a question.

Lin Shen was now certain that whenever his thoughts were associated with the Gate of Destiny, not even the All-Knowing and All-Powerful Jade Emperor could perceive them.

Lin Shen felt a surge within; he decided to always think about the Gate of Destiny before considering anything else. After testing it several times, indeed, the Jade Emperor didn't react at all.

Lin Shen even cursed the ancestors of the Tianshu Emperor in his mind, and the Jade Emperor continued talking to himself, without any reaction.

"So this is how it is!" Lin Shen was thrilled. This way, he could prevent his thoughts from being known by the Jade Emperor.

However, Lin Shen didn't completely block his thoughts; he tried not to think about the Gate of Destiny too much, lest the Jade Emperor discover this secret.

This is currently the only thing the Jade Emperor doesn't know about him, and it might be the key to reversing his fate.
