Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

"Gaaahhh!" Fenrir fell to the ground while shouting, "You bastard. What the hell did you do?! You definitely punched me on purpose!"

"What are you talking about? I'm simply getting this mushroom that is about to take control of your body. I helped you." Anubis shrugged. "I definitely didn't do it on purpose."

"As if!" That was what everyone had in mind after hearing Anubis' suggestion.

All of them could see that Anubis gathered his power in his fist. It was definitely on purpose.

"Like I said, I used my power to pull out that mushroom and even healed your mind. I helped you. Be grateful!" Anubis snorted.

No matter what Anubis said, he definitely did it on purpose. But no one really said anything.

More often than not, Fenrir was the one provoking them, like he was a thug. He challenged others, thinking he was invincible.

On the other hand, Anubis had been civil most of the time. He might have been arguing with Fenrir, but he worded it in a way that showed his elegance.

As a result, people usually blamed Fenrir for the outburst. However, unlike Jinwu, Nidhogg, or even Orochi, Anubis had never picked a 'physical' fight against Fenrir.

Unlike them, he didn't have the ability to fight someone. So, it was clear that Anubis was holding a lot of grudges in his heart.

And that punch was definitely personal. However, no one really said anything.

They knew Anubis was just releasing pent-up stress. In addition, most of the time, it was Fenrir's fault.

Fortunately, Anubis was much calmer, so a single punch was enough to give him satisfaction for all that stress.

For Nathan and the others, Fenrir just deserved it. And if that was all it took for Anubis to be satisfied, then everyone just needed to turn a blind eye to it.

It could be said that if Anubis was a big bully, he could just punch people with that power so that he could punch another person without leaving a single wound. He just left the pain on their minds, which was a bit terrifying.

Nevertheless, the plant alien wasn't the one who would wait for their argument to be over. The roots and branches gathered again and pierced them, but Qilin's hexagram blocked them, protecting the two familiars.

"You can argue later, but it's time to finish this guy."

The flying beast trio flew toward Orochi as Jinwu said, "Let's work together right now. If we wait for their argument, it will be a mess."

"I don't like it, but I guess I should." Orochi nodded in agreement. Seeing those two arguing in the middle of the battle gave him a sense of embarrassment, imagining himself in their position.

He couldn't help but wonder if he looked like that too when he was arguing in the middle of the battle.

So, to hide that embarrassment, he accepted Jinwu's request to work together.

Sun Flare.

Chaos Breath.

Jinwu and Nidhogg released their power at the same time, but before Peng fused their attacks. There was one addition.

Poison Breath.

The eight heads released the poison breath at the same time before Peng used his Tempest Breath to fuse all of them into a single attack.

This kind of powerful attack forced the plant to shift its focus from Fenrir to them. It was using everything it had to block the attacks.

Unfortunately, the roots and branches shattered from the sheer pressure alone. Some concentrated branches managed to reach the attack, but it was too weak compared to the combined attack of four divine beasts.

The poison corroded it, the sun fire evaporated it, and the chaos flame disintegrated it. Nothing remained on those concentrated branches.

The remaining leaves tried to stop it, but to no avail. The ones dispersing first were the sun fire and the tempest breath. The tornado dispersed the sun fire, burning the leaves and creating a small gap in its defense.

The chaos fire then erupted, burning the remaining leaves and widening the path.

Finally, the poison breath struck its body and began melting its body. It created a hole in its body and expanded with its corrosive power, melting the trunk until the upper part of the tree fell to the back.

Boom!

It looked like they'd won, but none of them celebrated. All divine beasts had the same thought in their minds.

The battle wasn't over. The trunk seemed to be regenerating still, but that would end soon.

Anubis activated his power and put a weakness on the alien, slowing down its regeneration even further.

"I found its core. Oi, you dog with anger issues. Hit the bottom of the trunk."

"I don't have anger issues!" Fenrir shouted before shooting his absolute force.

"Let me help you with this." Qilin formed a bagua in the absolute force's path. This force hit the bagua first as the 'Heaven' character shone.

The absolute power suddenly became stronger and shattered the trunk, revealing the elite class alien core hidden within it.

With the core removed from its body, the alien had no more power to supply its body, so it started to wither. It looked like the 'head' of this alien was on the bottom instead of on the top.

"Got it." Mae swept in at the last moment, retrieving the core with her tail. She returned to Nathan's side and handed over the core. "We killed it."

Nathan nodded. "Yeah. Though, this is more like bullying because there were no other aliens in this area. It would complicate things if there were aliens or even another elite class alien.

"Besides, it was not a mutant. The way it utilized the black cell was only to concentrate its power on the branches and roots, and the true power of this alien was in its mind control, which meant the controlled aliens.

"So, it's not like an easy win to me. But with this fight, I can understand what I'm going to do if we really have to handle two elite class aliens at the same time."
