"Teleportation!"

Nathan activated his ability. To teleport people, Nathan had to meet two conditions. The first one was to envelop their bodies with his ena.

Evelyn had done this multiple times, but because there was no resistance, she could teleport people easily.

And this time, Nathan had fierce resistance from the alien.

The alien was using all its power to neutralize the ena that enveloped him. This was what made Evelyn not want to teleport an opponent.

Nathan had to pour more ena to be able to cover the opponent completely. In addition, he had to add another layer of ena so that the enemy's resistance wouldn't cause the void to change in an unpredictable way. It might fail to teleport or teleport them to a random place.

Hence, Nathan had to add that one layer for protection.

The second condition was to activate the teleportation itself. In addition, during that time, Nathan couldn't be distracted.

Evelyn and Nathan often used blinks in their fight. It was a short teleportation, which had the same processes and requirements. Since the amount the ena needed was small, they could do it fast, which meant it was possible in battle.

The alien not only neutralized Nathan's ena, but it was also sending branches and roots to disrupt him.

Fenrir's force field pushed down most branches and roots, but there was power concentrated on a few roots and branches. They pierced through Fenrir's force field and headed straight to Nathan.

"!!!" Fenrir thought about turning back into his original form to stop them, but Mae beat him to it.

All of a sudden, multiple fox tails expanded and wrapped the incoming branches and roots, stopping them.

"!!!" Fenrir didn't expect Mae to make a move, thinking she was having a hard time handling the alien's unique ability.

However, that unique ability was neutralized by Louis, allowing her to change her position.

She stopped the incoming attacks, giving Nathan the precious time to fully activate the teleportation.

"Thank you." Nathan smiled as he finished the preparation. "Teleportation!"

The ena engulfed them as the plant alien disappeared from this battle.

"!!!" Louis squinted his eyes. "No wonder he wanted the advance payment. He might not be coming back after this. Such a shame, he might have been a great mercenary…"

Austin, on the other hand, used this opportunity to crush the enemy.

Due to the disappearance of their controller, the aliens returned to their consciousness.

The mind control made them move in unison, but because they didn't know what was going on, they started moving around frantically, which caused a mess in the enemy's ranks.

The reason Louis suggested this direction was that this was the direction the aliens were coming from. In other words, most aliens here should be following those elite class aliens to take down the fortress.

Still, the distance was required because he planned to go all out. And due to how big his familiars were, he had no choice but to go further.

Nathan panted a few times on the ground as he summoned all his familiars, including Kun.

"This is just an opening act for our mission this time. If we struggle to fight just one, how are we going to fight two aliens along with their underlings at the same time?" Nathan smiled. "Fenrir, Jinwu, Nidhogg, and Orochi. The four of you will be the attackers.

"Qilin takes over everyone's defense, and you know what you are supposed to do, Anubis. Kun and Mae will be controlling the battlefield. I will remain on the side to observe your performance and kill any aliens coming this way, so go wild and ignore the rest."

"Got it!" Jinwu and Nidhogg flew up. Kun switched to Peng as if she didn't want to water the plant, but his power was much better for combining their power together.

Orochi and Fenrir were the most excited, both thinking they would be the ones to take it down.

Mae and Qilin stood by, ready for anything. Meanwhile, Nathan was having a hard time.

'I never thought teleportation would take 15% of my total ena… If I were alone, I would only use less than 1% of my total ena for this distance. Because of the struggle and the layer of protection, I ended up using more than 20 times as much as usual… No wonder Evelyn doesn't want to do it.

'Just using it once will put the user at a disadvantage. I guess a teleportation circle should be used as a trap to reduce the amount of ena used, but it will still use at least 5% of my ena.'

Jinwu shot to the sky and grew to his true size and activated his domain. Because of the last battle against Lambert, he had to lose to Orochi, so he still only had five hundred thousand ena while Orochi had unlocked the next level of his divinity.

This was why Fenrir and Orochi were eager to unleash their full power. They wanted to compete with each other.
