"That's…" Nathan's expression turned solemn. "…I don't know."

"You don't know?"

Nathan obviously didn't know whether it would harm the dynasty or not. One of his objectives was to fulfill the revenge, but after meeting Cthulhu, he had two more objectives. The first was to make this continent hold on, while the second one was to find the chosen one.

He didn't know whether his influence here would be a bad thing or a good thing, especially if he planned to bring back the chosen one.

"Yes."

There was finally a trace of discomfort on the emperor's face. He didn't care about Nathan's identity or what he was planning to do as long as he didn't harm the dynasty.

But the emperor misunderstood his other goals. "So, you don't know whether it will harm the dynasty or not? Well, it looks reasonable. After knowing how they operated, the Death Society won't go down without a fight. Both the empire and the dynasty have suffered in their hands too."

He thought that since the Death Society was known to have destroyed several nobles in their retaliation, it wouldn't be weird if they launched a similar thing if Nathan attacked them.

Nathan didn't say anything, thinking, 'As expected, he's calm and calculating. It makes him a perfect target of his own misunderstanding. Just give him a piece of information and let him form his own conclusion.'

The emperor suggested, "How about this? We will take turns asking each other a question."

"Is this going to result in acquiring information about the Death Society?"

"I'm sure the marquis has mentioned it before. The reason for your summons is to reward you. However, after listening to your story, I have been wondering what I should do with the rewards. That's why I want to dispel my doubt before doing something about the reward."

Nathan fell silent for a moment. There was another way to do this. It was the Soul Contract. If he could make a contract that they had to be honest with each other, no one would be fooling anyone.

But he didn't know the importance of innate ability on this continent. However, the emperor was aware of the divinity, so he might be aware of the innate ability as well.

The only problem was that the emperor's attitude might change after seeing his innate ability.

After some thoughts, Nathan thought it wasn't the time to reveal the innate ability yet.

"All right. Since I'm the one suggesting it, I should answer your question first."

Nathan carefully considered his question. It was a precious chance, so he couldn't waste even a single question. "Do you or the empire plan to attack the Death Society?"

"Well, you are not holding back. I don't know about the empire, but I'm pretty sure they won't do it. They suffer more loss compared to us after all. As for the dynasty, I am not entirely sure after meeting you. Maybe I'll be able to answer that question after this discussion."

"Will you really tell me the answer at the end of the discussion?"

"It's my turn, but yes. There are only two things that you can hold from a man. One is his words and the second is his pe—Ahh!" The emperor abruptly screamed and turned to the empress.

"Your Imperial Majesty. You are the emperor. Please refrain from using such a vulgar word." The empress smiled, but she was definitely not smiling. She had been silent the whole time, but it looked like she was the dominant one in secret.

"It was careless of me. My bad habits from the past are still haunting me." The emperor coughed to regain his composure. "Either way, that should be enough to answer your question. It's my turn to ask a question.

"My question is… How did you find this continent?"

Nathan hesitated for a second before asking, "Does Your Majesty know a person who is called 'Elvania Reiny?"

"!!!" All of them widened their eyes in shock.

"What did you say? Elvania Reiny?"

Nathan frowned. "Yes. Does Your Majesty know this person?"

"…" The emperor looked down before saying, "I mentioned earlier about the Hero of Moonlight, right?"

"Yes."

"Elvania Gusta Erwih. She was the first Hero of Moonlight, who saved this dynasty from almost getting destroyed by the aliens 500 years ago."

"!!!" It was Nathan's turn to be surprised. He got this name from Lilith, but he didn't hear anything about her being the Hero of Moonlight.

"In her day, she saved the dynasty on the verge of destruction during the night. People saw her that day, descending from the highest tower of the dynasty, her form illuminated by the moonlight… That was where the name came from.

"She was supposed to marry the emperor of the time, but to save the dynasty, she ended up succumbing to her injuries. Ultimately, the emperor chose to honor her as the Hero of Moonlight.

"!!!" The emperor was surprised before closing his eyes. "I see. That familiar was the reason she even appeared when the moon was up in the sky. That person won't carelessly tell this kind of information in respect to her former summoner. It seems that she trusts you enough with that information."

Nathan never thought Lilith was this famous. Then again, one's fame usually elevates to a whole new level after their death, so Lilith might never know about this in the first place.

Nathan nodded. "In that case, it's my turn again. My question is simple. I would like to know about the Death Society, their location, their strength, their members, everything…"

"What a greedy question."
