Chapter 2347: Struggle
There are many plants on this star planet, and Peter Brown, in order to concoct the potion he needed, had to venture further into the depths.
Fortunately, Peter Brown had instruments conducting various detections and analyses in the Elixir Sea, as well as refining processes. Now, a large amount of materials that Peter needed were already present in the Elixir Sea.
Peter Brown was speechless about this situation. He understood in his heart that this was a true experience; all of one's possessions were stripped away, and one could only start from scratch.
Luckily, he was sent to this star planet where he was the only person. Presumably, given these circumstances, his Elixir Sea had been unlocked.
With those resources in the Elixir Sea, Peter wasn't too worried about anything. For him now, the most crucial thing was to gather all the materials he required.
One by one, the wild grasses were thrown into the Elixir Sea, and the raw materials Peter needed for the genetic potion were almost complete.
Just as he found a new type of wild grass and put it into the Elixir Sea, suddenly, Peter felt a shock in his mind.
He stood up to look and saw a gigantic head emerging from a hidden underground location ahead.
What is this?
When Peter's Divine Sense swept over, he saw a wild beast that looked like a giant snake but actually had four legs, charging towards him.
Seeing this situation, Peter smiled wryly; his Divine Sense had indeed failed to detect the underground space, probably due to this type of fierce beast.
Looking at this beast, its body was that of a serpent, but its head was like a pig's; it was a beast Peter had never encountered before, so he simply named it the Serpent Beast.
The Serpent Beast's speed was incredibly fast, and it reached Peter in a mere instant of thought.
A pair of soccer-sized eyes were staring at Peter.
Even though Peter was used to seeing all kinds of divine beasts, seeing those eyes made him feel a tremor in his mind.
Soul Attack!
Peter blinked his eyes and instantly freed himself from the opponent's Divine Sense control.
He didn't expect that the beasts here had such a method at their disposal.
Peter wielded his large blade, unleashing a worldly sword technique, and slashed towards the Serpent Beast.
Although Peter currently lacked energy and couldn't use cultivation sword techniques, due to his understanding of sword techniques, he possessed many top-level methods even in the secular world. This made the fight against the Serpent Beast relatively easy.
It was only after engaging in real combat that Peter discovered the Serpent Beast, despite its massive size, was not particularly strong. It relied heavily on its eyes, and after failing to harm Peter with its Divine Sense, it could only use its massive body to repeatedly ram into him.
"Slash!"
When Peter's blade slashed across the Serpent Beast's back, a stream of blood sprayed into the Azure Sky.
"Roar!"
The Serpent Beast roared, and its eyes emitted a blue light. As the blue light flashed, there was an energy fluctuation in the sky, and in that moment, ice blades began forming in the sky.
It can also release Ice Pellets!
Peter was taken aback.
Without time to think more, Peter used a quick movement technique to evade the ice pellets and rushed directly to the front of the Serpent Beast.
"Slash!"
Peter swung his blade again, this time aiming straight for those eyes.
Thud!
The strike was so fast and startling as lightning hit, and before the Serpent Beast could react, the blade had already slashed across its left eye.
"Roar!"
The Serpent Beast's eye was instantly gashed open by a deep cut, and the blue glow rapidly dimmed, causing the Serpent Beast to roar continuously in pain.
"Slash again!"
As Peter's large blade swept again, he managed to dodge the Serpent Beast's furious charge.
"Go!" The blade once again slashed at the Serpent Beast's other eye.
This time, the Serpent Beast was truly enraged, roaring and shaking Heaven and Earth, its body continuously crashing into its surroundings.
Clearly, it relied heavily on those eyes, and after losing them, it couldn't deploy its Divine Sense and thus couldn't locate Peter.
Standing there watching the Serpent Beast crashing about, Peter sighed with relief. In his current state, fighting such a massive Serpent Beast was truly challenging; without having found its weakness to attack, even with victory, it would have come at a price.
With a flash, Peter distanced himself from the Serpent Beast. He didn't want to continue fighting recklessly; he had a pile of things to do, and for now, his priority was to enhance the strength of his body quickly.
With a roar behind him, Peter continued forward.
After finding another kind of wild grass and putting it into the Elixir Sea, not long afterward, the instrument in the Elixir Sea gave a signal.
Completion achieved!
This genetic potion of Peter's was not an ordinary one; it was a concoction capable of continuously evolving his body. It was a product of Peter's ongoing research; once injected with this potion, Peter would achieve his peak physical condition.
Since the potion was complete, Peter decided not to leave. For now, all he had to do was wait.
After searching around, Peter found a cavern. Upon inspecting the cavern, he determined that no beasts seemed to have visited it.
He moved a large stone to block the entrance, then sat cross-legged inside, beginning to wait.
As time passed, the instruments in the Elixir Sea formulated a potion.
However, after concocting the potion, it couldn't be injected immediately; further detection was necessary.
The advanced technology-based equipment was powerful, and after various detections, a report emerged.
Good, it seems there are no problems!
Looking at the detection results, Peter finally felt completely reassured.
He picked up an injection syringe from another piece of equipment, drew a dose of the potion, and took it out.
The injection syringe was also made from minerals from here, so it wouldn't dissolve outside. Peter looked at the potion in the syringe and began injecting it directly.
A large amount of potion flowed into his body, and Peter instantly felt an intense transformation occurring within himself.
As the sensation of intense pain came over him, the pain nearly caused Peter to pass out.
He clearly realized that his body cells were undergoing changes.
He could no longer maintain his cross-legged position; Peter could only endure the pain with all his might.
After a day, just when Peter felt he could endure no longer, the ubiquitous pain sensation suddenly vanished.
With the pain gone, Peter's whole body felt as though it was soaking in hot springs, feeling utterly refreshed and light.
Feeling his body again, he sensed a Great Power filled his being.
It worked!
Peter knew his genetic evolution had been a success.
