Chapter 2346: Survival
After walking for a few hours, Peter Brown clearly felt a sense of powerlessness throughout his body. This was a situation he rarely experienced since his cultivation journey began.
Upon checking the state of his body, Peter helplessly discovered a new situation: both his divine sense and energy were drawn from the elixir sea, yet his body, for reasons unknown, had become extremely weak, akin to a mortal body.
Thinking about the seven people who entered, Peter guessed that their situation must be similar to his. Upon entering this realm, their bodies turned into mortal forms, no wonder birth, aging, sickness, and death would occur.
However, given his current physical state, surviving on this desolate planet was fraught with difficulty. His divine sense had long surveyed the conditions of this planet: though it was a newly burgeoning life star, it still housed numerous ferocious beasts, each potentially lethal.
If the items from the elixir sea could be utilized, Peter would not be as concerned about his safety. However, he discovered that the items in his elixir sea could not be extracted, leaving him without means of responding.
Seeing a group of seemingly wild rabbits ahead, Peter could only smile bitterly. These wild rabbits were too swift; he couldn't catch up to them, let alone capture them to eat.
No, the most important task now was to arm himself. Otherwise, despite his abilities, he would end up as prey for the beasts!
After surviving a battle with an unknown beast, Peter sat atop a tall tree, gasping for breath.
Below the tree, the sound of the beast fiercely ramming into the tree echoed, causing the giant tree to shake continuously.
Fortunately, the trees here were thick and strong, preventing the beast from knocking them down.
After a little over an hour, the beast finally left.
This situation is untenable!
Peter sighed.
Currently, I need to create a gene medicine to enhance myself!
Climbing down from the tree, Peter picked some unknown plants he could find and sent them into the elixir sea.
The machines that Peter had for refining gene medicine in the elixir sea finally had a purpose.
"This grass contains one of the elements of gene medicine and can be extracted!"
After testing hundreds of wild herbs, Peter finally discovered a wild herb that could be extracted.
Peter quickly labeled this wild herb and proceeded to gather more of it.
Thankfully, his machines were powerful and could extract the necessary potion from this particular wild herb. Otherwise, he could only gaze at it helplessly!
"Which gene should I use in the end?"
Peter looked up at the starry sky, knowing his current physical condition. If he could not modify it, he would collapse even among the stars.
Peter had been researching a gene medicine that would best integrate with the human body. Though he had developed it long ago, he hadn't used it on anyone.
Peter transferred a gene he collected from a technology planet to his elixir sea. He matched it with his own genes and, after countless improvements, was convinced this potion could greatly enhance his genetic level.
Previously, Peter was too powerful, and the body-refining techniques were so advanced that there was no need for such a genetic potion. Now, however, he had no choice but to use it.
This is the gene recipe post-great refinement. Once injected, my body should achieve a high level of durability!
Peter believed that even though his current physique was inferior, the potion's catalysis would transform it back to its peak condition. If that occurred, he wouldn't have to fear weapon attacks any longer.
"This potion should supply the necessary elements for my body!"
After working for a day, Peter brought out some potion stored in stone containers from the elixir sea.
After drinking the potion, Peter felt his hunger dissipate rapidly, and his body brimmed with strength once again.
There was no other way; Peter could not hunt for food and was nearly faint from hunger. Fortunately, his elixir sea could concoct various items, including this nutrient solution.
Finding a high ground, Peter leaned against a rocky wall.
Peter never expected to grasp the Wooden Rule in such a manner.
"If it were anyone else, finding food here would be difficult, and starvation would take them within a few days!"
At this point, Peter felt somewhat smug, thinking that having more means is indeed beneficial!
Now, Peter even felt grateful for the knowledge he acquired on the technology planet. Without it, he wouldn't know what to do.
Hunger was resolved, but safety was still an issue!
The necessary medicinal elements for the gene medicine were still incomplete, so Peter couldn't yet modify his body, leaving him with a strong sense of insecurity.
He must quickly create weapons.
Picking up a stone and placing it into the elixir sea, machines inside naturally searched for usable elements.
Upon waking up, Peter held a large sword in his hands.
When he slashed a rock with the sword, it cut a deep blade edge into the stone.
Looking at the sword again, Peter noticed some chipping on the blade edge.
Still not hard enough!
Peter could only shake his head; this was the best weapon he could currently forge.
He still needed to find more ore!
Despite that, Peter felt somewhat content. With the existence of the elixir sea, he could accomplish many tasks, even though it consumed energy.
With the large sword in hand, Peter felt much more confident. When he encountered beasts, Peter no longer fled but could confront them head-on.
The unfortunate reality was that Peter's physical condition was indeed too poor. Engaging in battle quickly depleted his energy.
If not for the large sword, the beasts might have torn Peter apart.
Various wild herbs and stones were continuously placed into the elixir sea.
The instruments constantly analyzed what Peter acquired, categorizing them in different ways.
Peter wasn't in a hurry. With the cooperation of his divine sense, he could always avoid some ferocious beasts, remaining relatively safe for now.
