Chapter 2284: Division Mansion

The Windsor Family is large, and Peter Brown felt uncomfortable staying there. Now that the opportunity had come, Peter Brown proposed to live separately in a mansion. This wasn't dividing the family, which the Windsor Family could accept, as they hoped Peter Brown would enhance the family's prestige without affecting the Windsor Family's inheritance. After some persuasion, Mattie Brown agreed.

"Our Windsor Family is a large family, with quite a few separate estates. You can move into the estate in East City, and then I'll assign some personnel from here to you. What do you think?" Mattie Brown sought Peter Brown's opinion.

"Okay."

Peter Brown was not worried about any issues with the people sent over. Once he got there, life and death matters would be handled by that place.

This separate mansion was exceptionally large. When Peter Brown's family moved in, it was noticeably bigger than the one they had purchased.

It was clear that this was Mattie Brown's way of showing goodwill to Peter Brown.

All the transfer procedures were provided, along with the gift of 3000 mu of land. Peter Brown's small family truly became a new noble family in the Capital City.

Seeing Melody Carter and Kate Brown's faces filled with excitement, Peter Brown felt even more satisfied with the arrangement. It was clear they didn't want to live in the original Kingston House.

With money and land, the whole small family started operating. Melody Carter was a capable and astute person, making use of people she considered good before, and even buying some servants. The family changed instantly, and control was in her hands.

Seeing this change, Peter Brown was happy. For him, he was just a passerby in this family. Seeing the mother and daughter control this family was what Peter Brown was willing to see.

Sitting in the room, Peter Brown was thinking about joining the Army. After killing some people, Peter Brown knew that he had offended some people even if he didn't intend to. It's impossible for them not to use some means against him next.

Of course, for Peter Brown, he wasn't afraid of any means. His main purpose in going to the battlefield was to get promoted and acquire a large amount of rule power.

Sure enough, after a day, Mattie Brown came.

It was clear that Mattie Brown's expression was solemn.

After entering, Mattie Brown looked at Peter Brown and said seriously, "This time you will go to the Northern Region's Redstone Legion, and you will be incorporated into the Vanguard Army."

Upon hearing this, Peter Brown smiled. This was exactly what he wanted. His original intention was to be on the frontline, killing enemies. Apparently, those forces believed that if they placed him in such an Army, he would inevitably be killed.

"What about my thousand men?" Peter Brown asked.

"You can pick your thousand men yourself, no discounts on this part. But no matter how strong your subordinates are, what can you do? You only have a thousand men, and the Northern Region's Ice Bear Tribe Army consists of 2 million soldiers. Your people are of little use. If they fall into their encirclement, there would be no chance of escape. We originally wanted to fight for you, but you know, the power of the Northern military families is great. Even Your Majesty has to give them some face."

"I understand. It's not that big a deal."

Mattie Brown smiled bitterly, "How is it not a big deal? This time you killed a few influential children of military families, they will surely deal with you, and they'll send you to dangerous places when the time comes. What will you do then!"

It was clear that the Windsor Family cared about Peter Brown's life and death.

After chatting with Mattie Brown for a while, Peter Brown went to the Military to report.

When Peter Brown arrived at the barracks, he found some Centurions had already come to select their personnel. Looking at the remaining ones, Peter Brown shook his head; the good soldiers were already picked, and what was left were really just the troublemakers or soldiers no one wanted.

A General stood there and looked at Peter Brown, saying, "Peter Brown, feel free to pick from these people. Whomever you fancy will be assigned to you, but the Military Headquarters has given the order that a unit must be formed in three days, and the troops will be dispatched to the frontline. You should proceed quickly."

Peter Brown's eyes flashed and looked over at the crookedly standing men.

Suddenly, Peter Brown's Aura surged.

As his Aura spread, many who were standing sat down abruptly.

"All those who can remain standing should stay." Peter Brown said calmly, then shifted his gaze back to those who were still standing.

Divine Sense swept over, and Peter Brown said, "Look at me."

As Peter Brown's voice echoed, those people directed their gaze at Peter Brown.

Now Peter Brown operated some of his Divine Sense, and as his Divine Sense spread, his eyes suddenly had visions of bloodshed and wind.

As these illusions appeared, Peter Brown had already chosen the personnel he wanted.

Peter Brown's Body Flashes as he entered the soldiers' ranks, clicking each one down.

"Alright, these one thousand who are still standing are now under my command." Peter Brown said to the General, instructing him to register the name list.

Peter Brown's selection method was unique; he used Aura to find those who dared to face death, then used illusions to observe whether these soldiers truly had the courage to fight. Only those unmoved by illusions surely possessed a certain killing intent, which made them the seasoned soldiers more likely to survive on the battlefield.

A thousand soldiers were quickly selected.

The General couldn't see how Peter Brown selected them, since Peter Brown's Aura and illusions were all aimed at the soldiers and not him, so he didn't notice anything unusual.

Having already received orders, the General did not trouble Peter Brown. After registering the name list, he looked at Peter Brown and said, "The 20th camp area ahead is for your thousand men, and you can assemble your forces there."

After speaking, this General turned and left.

"Follow me."

Peter Brown looked at the men he picked and said, turning toward the camp area.

Those selected soldiers glanced at each other with wry smiles and could only follow Peter Brown.

Upon arriving at the assigned location, Peter Brown looked around. It was quiet, allowing him to train his men independently.

Sitting there, Peter Brown was also contemplating how to quickly form the unit.
