Strongest Necromancer System

Chapter 593: Presence Concealment

[The user is already trying to defeat one TITAN-Rank beast; therefore the system does not believe it is wise to gain even more enemies.]

'Fuck, that makes sense. It'll be stupid if I run away from this beast only to end up with three more beasts chasing after me.'

Jason couldn't help but agree to the system's warning, but at the same time, Jason wondered if there was really no other way to deal with this. Jason was about to ask the system to find an alternate route around the Rank IV world, but he stopped when he heard a voice echo in his head.

'Boy, I thought I taught you better than this! What are you hesitating for!? I have a technique that you can use for this, so abandon your mana and use your Qi to barge your way through that world!'

Jason blinked in surprise when he heard Esdath's angry rant! Esdath had been really silent for a long time now, and Jason thought that he just wasn't interested in helping out. But it turned out that Esdath had been doing research all this time to try to find a technique that Jason could use! Jason asked Esdath what technique he was talking about, and Esdath responded quickly.

[It's a technique called Presence Concealment used by the Demonic Assassin Sect that existed as the dark counterpart of the Eastern Mountain Sect! It can hide your presence from any creature, no matter how powerful they are, and if you constantly substitute your mana with Qi, then it will mask you completely! Our brothers on the other side used this technique to sneak into the homes and offices of high-ranking officials and assassinate anyone who didn't align with our goals! The technique would normally take at least a week to properly learn, and it requires the Master Rank in the Internal Qi, but I managed to learn it in only a day, and with your potential, I think it is possible for you to learn it in no time! You understand what I'm getting at, don't you, boy!?]

Jason felt a grin spreading on his face as he heard everything Esdath had to say. The plan was crude, and one simple mistake could lead to some serious problems down the line. Hell, Jason could even die! But Jason decided that this was his best course of action right now. Jason didn't have the liberty of picking options, and in the middle of a fight, taking risks was the only way to come out on top.

'Alright, let's do it!'

BOOM!

Another massive explosion suddenly echoed through the region as ten Rooks carried out a [Kamikaze] to try and injure the Beast, but once again, Jason heard the beast bellow loudly as it easily tanked the explosion! Jason sent a message to the system and told it that he was going to head for Gerani before making his way to Ha'lez and the system asked Jason if he was certain of this choice; the chances of Jason dying in a Rank IV world were at least 75%, and if Jason ran into a monster that was far too strong for him to handle, then that probability might shoot up to even 99%! But Jason could feel adrenaline shooting through his body as he thought about what he would have to do, and he just decided to bite the bullet!

'Don't threaten me with a good time, you fucking bastard. I said I'm sure, so just show me the path.'

The system almost seemed to release a tired sigh when Jason said this, but it finally directed Jason on where he should go.

[The first Dimensional Tear is twenty-five miles north of the user's location.]

'Good. Esdath! Start the technique!'

Jason immediately recalled all of the Rooks that had been fighting against the beast, and he began to make his way out of the city and towards the Dimensional Tear. The giant beast roared from behind Jason, and the ground began to shake as it picked up speed and followed after Jason's mana signature! Jason suddenly felt his control over the shadows growing weaker as a large storm cloud began to block out the sun, and Jason picked up his pace as Esdath spoke.

'I'll show you the Qi movement, and you can replicate it using your own Qi. You have to make sure it's perfect, or your camouflage would fail. Do you understand?'

'Sure.'

Esdath began to move his Qi in the proper way, and even though Jason was very distracted by the near-death situation he was in, he still had enough presence of mind to follow Esdath's lectures very well. Jason had learned many techniques from Esdath during their training, but since he had so many lessons to learn from his different teachers, he and Esdath never really covered everything properly. But the one thing that Esdath had hammered into Jason like a gospel was the concept of Qi manipulation. Qi manipulation was the most important concept in a cultivator's training, and the level of Qi manipulation would determine just how skilled a cultivator would be in learning new techniques. Esdath had hammered on this lesson so much that Jason could control his Qi even in his sleep now, so Jason didn't have any problem moving his Qi around to match what Esdath was showing him.

'Good, that's perfect. Make sure you keep the mana isolated and move the Qi around to the meridians close to your heart. Once you pass it through there, then shift it towards your External Qi meridians—'

BOOM!

A massive explosion from behind Jason drowned out what Esdath was saying, but Jason didn't even bother to turn around and figure out what was happening. Jason was moving rapidly towards the location the system pointed out, even though Jason's visibility was completely gone because of the storm, and the wind was doing everything it could to throw Jason off his feet. But Jason was more than strong enough to withstand all this, so he continued forward without issue. The messages about his subordinates dying continued to come in, and Jason could see his mana dropping at a rapid pace as the system resurrected any subordinate that died.

Finally, after more than five minutes of running, Jason reached a large cliff edge that overlooked a frozen lake below. Jason asked the system if this was the location, and the system told Jason that he would have to jump from the cliff.

[The Dimensional Tear is located in the space one hundred meters over the cliff edge. The user will have to release 20,000 Magicules of mana while free-falling to reach his destination. The system advises the user to activate the Qi technique that will camouflage him the moment he lands in Gerani, since the possibility of landing in the middle of a TITAN's territory is high.]

Jason narrowed his eyes at this piece of information, and he took in a breath to calm himself before he began moving his Qi. Esdath had only shown Jason the technique about five times over the past few minutes, so it came as an absolute shock to Esdath when he saw Jason's Qi following the sequence perfectly! All the mana in Jason's body slowly began to dwindle until it was completely unnoticeable, and Jason covered his body in a light blue aura of Qi that quickly erased his presence.

BWOOHHH!

A loud roar came from behind Jason, and Jason immediately jumped off the edge as he heard the beast's heavy footsteps behind him! Jason released enough mana once he was close to where the system pointed out, and a dimensional circle tore through the space beneath Jason and allowed him to fall inside! The Beast of the Apocalypse saw Jason fall into the Dimensional Tear, and it wasted no time as it jumped right after Jason and followed him into the Rank IV world.
