Chapter 546: The Most Important Skill
As Jason watched the battle raging beneath him, he couldn't help but be a little annoyed that the giant robots were fully robotic and there was no way to add them to his Legion since they didn't have a soul. But since they had a magical core and magical pathways, they were similar to magical artefacts, and this allowed Jason to put them into his Alternate Dimension. Jason would take them back to Earth later and give them to Darren. Since Darren was a Technopath, Jason was sure he would be able to do something with them!
BOOM!
Another giant robot fell over and slammed into the ground, and Jason only watched it for a few seconds before he finally turned back towards Gina and the rest of the air-carriers! There were four air carriers chasing after Gina, and Jason grinned when he saw Gina activate a rune on her left hand before she turned around and slashed her hand across the air! The rune multiplied the attack power of her spell, and a massive wind blade suddenly tore through the sky and split one of the air carriers in half! The air carrier exploded from the damage, and Gina quickly moved out of the way as another air carrier opened fire on her! Jason was sure that it would only take a few more minutes before she destroyed the last three that were still chasing her, so he decided not to interfere. Jason turned on the [Eye of the King] skill to see what was happening inside the Orange Gate that Haruto and Rei were in. Apparently, they had reached the final boss, and the Phantom subordinate asked Jason if they could just go ahead and kill the final boss themselves, but Jason told the Phantom not to do that. The Phantom was to stay on standby and allow Haruto and Rei to take care of it, and the Phantom was only allowed to step in if it looked like they were about to lose. The Phantom accepted the order, and Jason finally released a calm sigh as he scanned the battlefield. This wasn't exactly how Jason had hoped this battle would go, and honestly, he would have preferred if he didn't have to run into the Machina at every turn he made in the Primordial Expanse, but he was glad that he had handled it so well.
'My King, we've found the corpse.'
Jason looked to his left, and he grinned when he saw a few Pawn-Rank superhuman subordinates holding the body of the dead Machina general, Braga. Jason had asked his subordinates to look for Braga's body in the wreckage caused by the explosion because he wanted to resurrect it! Most of the other Machina in the air carrier had been burnt beyond recovery by the plasma beam, and Jason couldn't resurrect them since he didn't kill them himself, but Jason had been the one to kill Braga, so Jason knew he could resurrect him. Jason quickly activated a skill!
[Remote Resurrection] has been activated!
Doon!
The Pawns felt mana pour out from their bodies, and Braga's body suddenly jolted before his soul rose.

Jason smiled as he saw General Braga's tab, and he immediately dived into General Braga's memories. Jason had known that allowing Braga to die in the massive explosion from the giant robots would have been disadvantageous, and that was why Jason went out of his way to make sure he was the one to kill Braga! And the main reason Jason did was because he knew that Braga would have a lot of useful information in his head as a general in the Machina army. And once Jason began going through Braga's memories, Jason wasn't disappointed at all. The first thing that Jason found out was that the Machina had multiple plans to capture him. The Machina knew that there was a chance that General Braga's plans would not work, so they had created various outposts along the path where they thought Jason would appear, and Machina soldiers were lying in wait to ambush Jason once he arrived. Braga knew the location of three Ambush Zones and Jason memorized the information and began to put together a plan for when the Legion reached those areas!
Braga had knowledge of everything, from how many soldiers would be waiting to the type of ammunition the soldiers would be using, and even the formation that the army was planning to use! As a general in the army, Braga had literally been given access to everything that the army was going to be doing, and Jason grinned in amusement as he went through all this information. Jason knew that most of his abilities had already become common knowledge to most of his enemies, but Jason wasn't worried about that at all because even though they knew about his ability to bring back people from the dead and his other skills, the ability to acquire the knowledge of his Legion subordinates was something that people still didn't know about, and as far as Jason was concerned, that was still one of his most useful abilities! With this ability, Jason didn't have to worry about what the enemy was planning! As long as Jason got even one of the higher-ranking members of the enemy's army as his Legion subordinate, Jason was going to acquire all the knowledge he would ever need from them!
BOOM!
A massive explosion suddenly echoed over Jason's head, and Jason looked up to see that it was Gina blowing up one of the massive air carriers. Jason noticed that this air carrier was the last one, and he gave Gina a smile when she waved at him from her place in the sky!
'Great job, babe. Go help out the others and come around when you're done.'
Jason spoke to Gina through their mental link, and Gina blew Jason a kiss before she took off to go and help Trigon finish off the giant robots! Jason just grinned at Gina's playfulness, and he turned back to the memories he had been looking through. Although Jason had knowledge of all these hidden ambushes, Jason still had about a hundred worlds he had to jump through before he could reach Riyad, so he would have to be careful of how he moved in case there were other ambush groups that Braga hadn't managed to learn about.
'And I still have that Beast of the Apocalypse to worry about. Fuck.'
Jason cursed as he realised that the second half of the journey was going to be far more taxing than the first! Jason had asked the system what the [Beast of the Apocalypse] was, and from what the system sent him, Jason could tell that it was an actual beast that had multiple worlds as its own territory and would attack anyone it found trying to invade or pass across its territory! Jason would have to be really careful while crossing to ensure that the beast doesn't find out. Jason decided that he would first send out some subordinates to scan the region ahead so he could get a good idea of where both the Machina and the Beast of the Apocalypse were. Jason closed down his tab, and he got up from the head of the giant worm when he felt that the battle was already coming to a close. Jason had spent far more time than he planned in this world, and he couldn't wait to get back on the road.
