Jason turned his focus back to the task at hand, and he allowed his mana to spread across the ground! Jason felt the rune sequence that the Machina had created right beneath him. The rune covered the entire valley in a blanket of mana that blocked any entrance or exit from this region, and even though it had been used against him, Jason couldn't help but be impressed by the sheer power he could feel coming from the rune! Jason knew that the mana capacity he had was not normal! There were no other mages in his power level that had millions of Mana Points like him! Most SSS-Rank mages would only have about three hundred thousand mana points, and even the TITANs would only have about a million mana points! So Jason was sure it must've taken a lot of effort and money for the Machina to gather enough power stones to fuel this rune sequence! But unfortunately for them, Jason had well over three million mana points! And even though he already used a lot in the previous battles, he still had more than enough to overload this rune sequence!

Jason continued to spread his mana across the valley, and it wasn't long before he felt his mana dropping below the half a million mark! Jason immediately sent mana towards the runes on his stomach and unlocked four of them to release a surge of mana into his body!

Jason felt his mana rising again, and this allowed him to keep sending his mana out towards the rune around. And once Jason felt the rune pushing back against his mana, he realised that he had reached the threshold!

Jason suddenly pushed his mana forward and slammed it into the edge of the runes with intensity! And since the rune had already been filled with mana, it had become very fragile, and the sudden push had the same effect as a hammer slamming into a glass jar! The rune immediately imploded outwards!
BOOM!
A blast of mana surged across the valley as all the excess mana suddenly poured out from the rune, and a sound like glass breaking echoed through the air! Jason turned off the mana, and he finally looked at his tab to see just how much mana he had left.

Jason called on one of his subordinates, and the Varigans took multiple steps back in fear when they felt the ground under their feet rumbling! The ground suddenly erupted upwards to reveal a giant worm-like creature that lifted Jason into the air, and Jason crossed his hands and sat cross-legged on the worm's head before looking out over the battlefield from his new vantage point! Now that Jason had gotten rid of the rune stopping him from leaving, he no longer needed to reserve mana, and that allowed him the freedom to acquire more subordinates! Jason's mana suddenly surged out over the battlefield, and Jason spoke in a powerful voice!
"Resurrect."
DOON!
The entire battlefield suddenly shifted! The Machina had been holding their own against Jason's Legion rather well all this time because they had far more firepower than them, and since Jason couldn't resurrect any subordinates because he was preserving mana, it almost looked like the Machina had actually been on their way to winning this battle! But the moment Jason spoke, every single Machina came to the same sudden realisation that the tide of this battle had completely changed!

The dead Machina rose from their corpses like demons straight from hell, and the living Machina soldiers felt anger fill their bodies when they saw the state that Jason had put their former comrades in! The Legion immediately attacked with renewed ferocity, and Jason simply watched like a king witnessing a gladiator match as his Legion began to push back against the Machina! At the start of this battle, there were over a thousand Machina in the attacking forces, but after so long, their number had been reduced to just about six hundred! But even still, the Machina were fighting back with a ferocity that could only be seen from a race of warriors! The Machina used their tanks, Plasma Rifles, and air carriers to attack the Legion, but Jason noticed that the giant robots weren't attacking, and he could only guess that they had lost their functions after the main air carrier was destroyed. Jason immediately sent a message to the system!

Jason chose yes, and he looked out on the battlefield as scores of his subordinates began to reappear from their dead state! The Machina who had been fighting against the Legion had already been shocked to see their dead comrades coming back from the dead to join Jason's Legion, but once they saw the Legion members that they had already killed coming back to life, they felt an intense despair fill their hearts! But that feeling of despair was nothing compared to what they felt when Jason suddenly activated another skill!

It was the most terrifying thing the Machina had ever seen! Things had already been bad when so many Legion subordinates were brought back to life, but the last thing any of them expected was for Jason to not only have control over the soul, but to also have control over the body of the dead! The dead Machina shook as Jason's mana filled their bodies and they slowly began to rise from the dead like zombies from the grave! The reanimated creatures still had the injuries that had killed them! Some of them were missing an arm or a leg, and there were even some that had large injuries on their bodies that were leaking blood! But this didn't stop any of them from grabbing their weapons and charging towards the Machina with reckless abandon! One of the Machina on the frontline suddenly screamed in fear, and threw his weapon away as he ran from the charging horde, and that one action killed the morale of hundreds of other Machina as they quickly followed the first one to run! Up above the battlefield, Jason watched on with a small smile.
'Wow, you're even more sadistic than I thought. You're doing this on purpose, aren't you?'
Esdeath's voice suddenly came from within Jason's mind, and Jason's grin widened slightly as he watched the Machina running away like headless chickens. Jason had promised them that he would kill them all, and he had every intention of keeping his word! The Machina were the ones that branded Jason as a Black Enigma and gave Jason the freedom to do whatever he wanted, so Jason was going to show them the monster they unleashed on themselves!
ROARRR!
Up in the sky, Trigon and Ragnar were leading the charge against the remaining giant robots and the giant Pharynx was using its massive mana laser to tear into the robots one after the other! The giant robots had been mostly controlled by the largest air carrier, but now that the carrier had been destroyed, the robots had lost most of their functions, and it was easy for Jason's dragons to take them down with well-placed [Flaming Breaths]!
