Strongest Deliveryman In The Apocalypse

Chapter 35: Another Unexpected Surprise Has Arrived!

'What's going on in his mind right now…?'

Sharon felt a bead of sweat trickle down her brow as she looked at Sobin.

Her beautiful face was clouded by a serious expression, and concern kept flashing in her eyes.

She couldn't relax for even a moment while in the presence of a man like this. Sobin was not only extremely strong, but his free-spirited nature also made him unpredictable.

Sharon saw how kind he was, but she had also seen footages of the Plunderer base that he took down, and she saw how horrific the sight was. It almost appeared as though a serial killer had risen from the dead to commit that act.

It didn't feel like the work of a human… but of a Monster.

Perhaps the devil himself!

However, looking at the plain face of Sobin, one wouldn't expect that such a man could be respobsible for such. This was precisely why Sharon couldn't make any assumptions about him and simply had to tread carefully as if she was walking on eggshells.

Any little mistake could cost her everything!

'Actually, Sobin… you aren't just probably stronger than most S Rank Riders out there… I believe you are definitely more powerful than them.'

If there was such a thing as an SS Rank Rider, Sharon believed Sobin deserved to be on that list.

Why?

Because she was almost certain now… that he was the one who killed the Deepcrawler King.

'The timing of that creature's death and Sobin's arrival at Zone E-46 can't be pure coincidence. We've also not seen anything to indicate the emergence of an SS Rank Monster, and Sobin has displayed capabilities that far exceeds the limits of A Rank and even basic S Rank Riders. We've also not seen his limits yet…' All of this made Sharon heavily suspect that Sobin was actually beyond the level of S Rank Riders.

Could she prove this? Currently… no.

But Sharon was very invested in this matter. In fact, she wanted to investigate this so badly, but she had to be careful about Sobin at this point. Prying about the matter too much would only stir the hornet's nest, and that wasn't advisable for now.

'Maybe after deepening our relationship, I can ask him questions about that… or test his capabilities to confirm my suspicions.'

Apart from that, there was also another reason Sharon wasn't in a rush to explore this possiblity.

It had to do with the other Sectors!

'Until Sobin has been registered as an S Rank Rider in Sector E, it's best I don't make his true powers public. If I do, it's certain that other Sectors will do everything they can to get their hands on him…' Sharon was deeply worried about this. 'We're already understaffed at this point. The last thing we need is for our posssibly strongest card to be poached.'

Sobin's arrival was like a blessing to Sharon and the rest of Sector E.

She couldn't affford to lose him!

'I'm sure each Sector has spies in our Sector, and some of their eyes may already be on him. It's unavoidable, since we also have our eyes within their borders. The only thing I can do now is to ensure that Sobin picks us when the time comes…'

And for that, she was willing to fulfill any of his requests.

It was almost a relief to Sharon that all Sobin wanted was to pass his Re-Evaluation.

If he had asked for glory, riches, and power… she would have gladly given it to him. There was very little she woudn't agree to when it came to a powerhouse like Sobin.

Of course, she would prefer that a contract existed between the two that ensured that Sobin exclusively remained within Sector E, but would such a thing even be able to bind someone like Sobin?

S Rank Riders were the true kings of this world, and since Sharon considered Sobin even stronger than the others, it was certain what level Sobin was in.

If other S Rank Riders were kings… then Sobin was an emperor!

"Mr Sobin… I look forward to us working together, even in the future." Sharon stretched out her hand and offered him a desperate smile. "I sincerely hope humanity can count on you when it is in danger. Sector E is lacking in amazing individuals like yourself. It is my hope that you'll not abandon us in our time of need."

Sobin took her hand and offered her an oblivious and sincere smile.

"I will do my best!"

"That…" She nodded, nearly tearing up. "… Is more than enough for us."

The two smiled in that room, each happy about the alliance they made. Ubeknownst to them, a certain darkness lurked in a far region of the world—away from public eyes.

In a dark world that resembled the void, a strange occurence was taking place.

Brilliant, ethreal light shone bright, disrupting the absolute darkness that had completley consumed everything around.

It appeared like space itself was twisting, bending, and breaking.

The world glitched for a moment, almost as if it was breaking apart, before finally reconstrcuting. And, at the center of the storm was a certain person…

… A woman!

"Hmm?" She mumbled quietly. "Where am I?"

Her long white hair danced with the wind, almost creating a storm before she quieted it down.

With bright crimson eyes that seemed to be made from rubies, she glanced around with both curiosity and a hint of recognition. She wore pajamas that showed what she was up to before she arrived in this world, and while the oversized overalls did their best to hide her body, her curvy figure was unmistakable.

"Last thing I remember was getting hit by that truck when I went out to restock my cup ramen…" The white-haired beauty scratched her hair while muttering those words.

She flicked her glasses a little, narrowing her eyes while facing the void.

Despite the quirkiness she displayed, and how messy her hair was, her beauty was unmistakable.

Unable to hide her true feelings any longer, she let out a loud scream that caused everything around her to quake with immense pressure.

"Did I just get isekaid… to another world?!"
