Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Causing commotion in the God realm
Gazing into the void with a melancholic expression, Luidwish couldn't bear what had occurred earlier.
He remained this way for a long time before heaving a deep sigh of grief. He couldn't fully accept the old giant's decision to part with him. The man had been with him for a long time, and it wasn't easy to just let it go.
"Master, I will not give up on life so easily like you have. Existing is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. How could you just let it go? You are a primordial god, an existence that originated with the birth of time. Perhaps your perspective on life differs from those of us who were once mortal. For us, immortality is something we would do anything to achieve." Luidwish expressed his dissatisfaction but had to acknowledge that the old giant had lived a long time, shaped by a different life experience.
"I had no idea you were depressed all along. You did a good job of hiding it from me," Luidwish recalled as he floated high above the temple. He stood in the skies as if gravity did not exist, gazing down at the temple and the surrounding structures.
"I have never left this Celestial Summit since I first arrived. I can hardly believe that a million years have passed. Cultivating every day keeps my mind engaged, and I hardly notice how swiftly time flies. This Celestial Summit is the focal point of all my memories. I lived on Earth for 21 years, and my memories of being an ordinary Earthling are faint. The million years spent here have nearly erased all recollection of that small blue planet. I can't even remember what it felt like to be a normal human. In comparison, 21 years is nothing compared to my million years of experience on this Celestial Summit."
Luidwish gazed at the floating mountain, temple, and magnificent structures and remarked, "All of these are part of a single artefact crafted by my master. This extraordinary mountain, floating in the void, is known as Celestial Summit, a primordial grade artefact, crowned by a divine temple and ethereal structures. My master, the Lord of the Void, Zurack Dwin, forged this 7th-tier divine artefact. Even if he had not mentioned it before, I could never abandon this magnificent creation. All my memories, from my humble beginnings as a mortal to my current status as an Ancestral God, are tied to this treasure."
Luidwish used the law of space to stretch his hand forward, shrinking the Celestial Summit to the size of his palm, and hiding it from sight as he sent the artefact into his spatial storage, which he created with his spiritual energy.
"Now that I think about it, I realize that I don't know much about the God Realm. The only thing I know is that trillions of years ago, a primal God, as strong as my Master and I, established the God Realm. My Master only resided there for a few years after passing through billions of years ago. Anything my Master has said may be outdated today."
"According to my master's knowledge, the God Realm has not produced many Ancestral Gods over time. The primal God who created it also perished in the final war among the primordial gods. The surviving primordial gods vanished into unknown dimensions, and my master was unable to locate them or tell if they were still alive."
"From my perspective, the God Realm should have the same level of Ancestral Gods as me. If my master could teach me, someone of average potential for a million years to reach this level, I am curious as to how many beings the God Realm has cultivated to this level over the billions of years since my master last visited that place."
Still having a monologue and pondering on his knowledge of the God realm, Luidwish was not in a hurry to leave, and in his negligence, he almost forgot that the void could devour the spiritual essence of Ancestral and even primal gods without protection.
Luidwish sensed something was wrong, and he remembered that the void was not a place for living beings. "It appears that without living on the Celestial Summit artefact, nothing can survive in this void. I have to leave immediately."
Luidwish immediately calculated the coordinates of the God realm and the Immortal world and intended to employ Greater Teleportation, but he changed his mind and tore open the fabric of space to enter the God realm.
"Typically, living beings cannot reach the God realm in this way, as the laws of heaven prohibit it for everyone. However, we, the Ancestral Gods, exist above all laws. Nothing in this life can determine our fate," Luidwish declared with an arrogant smile as he stepped through the rift he had created in the void.
RUMBLE! RUMBLE! RUMBLE!
The God realm trembled as if struck by an earthquake.
Luidwish had no idea that entering the God realm in this way would cause the entire realm to tremble with terrible disruption. His arrival undoubtedly generated a stir in the entire God realm. This is not something he intended to do because he is unaware of the might of the entities in this God realm.
"What a foolish decision. I hope I didn't upset anyone with this terrible act. I never intended to offend anyone, as I am an outsider here—a visitor. Entering someone's home and causing such a disturbance is unacceptable," Luidwish stated with embarrassment. Unfortunately, he couldn't undo his actions, and even if he could, he knew he wouldn't be able to erase this blunder from the minds of the truly powerful experts.
"What was that?" Two geezers playing chess under the shade quickly rose from their benches to face the east.
The two geezers wasted no time and utilized Greater Teleportation to get to the source of the commotion.
Deep within a palace, a man with a powerful aura opened his eyes from a meditative state. His face grew stunned as he lost his graceful demeanour, and his mouth ajar with shock.
A beautiful woman dressed in a maid uniform approached the shocked man and bowed before him. Speaking in a respectful tone, as if she revered him completely, "Lord Rhismond, this servant believes that a powerful primordial artefact has surfaced in the east. What are your plans, Lord? Should I summon everyone to conduct an investigation? Please, guide me, Lord."
"Nonsense!" The man reprimanded and frightened the maid with his voice, "As the Immortal Goddess in the final stage, your senses are still this shallow? This is embarrassing. Let me tell you. This is not the aura of an artefact but of an unparalleled individual, a primordial God."
Hearing this, the maid staggered in shock. What is a primordial God?
The primordial God is a deity spawned from the beginning of time with the power to create an entire God realm.
This realm and its inhabitants are the creation of a primordial God. A being of such power could effortlessly erase an Immortal God from existence.
If she were to make a foolish mistake and offend such an entity, not even her Master, Lord Rhismond, who is in the early stage of Ancestral God, could save her if that being decided to eliminate her.
"Haha! There's no reason to be afraid. Instead, we should turn this frightening event into an opportunity. It seems that the disputes over control and dominance in the God realm are about to come to an end. If I can earn this senior's favour, I will undoubtedly become the only important person in the realm, and all my goals will be within reach. Gather everyone; we need to show our respect to this unexpected senior." Rhismond said as he regained his composure.
Many sacred places in the God realm held such conversations, as numerous gods and immortal cultivators utilized Greater Teleportation towards the east.
