Starsea Fleet: Age of the Lord

Chapter 160: Chapter 160: T5 Orca-Class Interstellar Carrier

Compared to the brightness of the Celestial Crystal System, the Beast Roar System's color tone was an overall beige. It felt like a newly born child—young and vibrant—only two-thirds the size of the Storm System.

The entire system contained just two habitable planets, one of which was the Beast Roar Prime Star, a Class 3 planet teeming with various beasts. Since Feng Mo planted the Devouring Ancient Tree and Bloodthirsty Vine on this planet, however, a few kilometers around these plants had gradually become a forbidden zone for all beasts.

The Hurricane docked at the Beast Roar Prime Star's spaceport, and Feng Mo, along with Han Peipei, took an interstellar vehicle to the nearby shipyard.

Alisa had been working at this shipyard for almost a year now. After the Beast Roar Prime Star's battles with the New Humanity Church, the area needed rebuilding. Feng Mo had Alisa expand the shipyard to accommodate the construction of his first T5-class starship.

In the shipyard's control room, Alisa was collaborating with a team of starship engineers to modify the T4 Mule-Class Interstellar Transport Ship, which Feng Mo had sent her. While Feng Mo found the design standard, Alisa saw potential for upgrades and modifications.

As soon as they saw Feng Mo arrive, the engineers all stood and bowed, greeting him with, "Lord Feng Mo!"

Feng Mo waved his hand. "No need for formalities. Leave the modifications on this transport ship to you all. Once completed, have it verified by your department head. Now, take the design plans to the adjacent shipyard and get started."

After sending the engineers away, Feng Mo approached the control console and uploaded the T5 Orca-Class Interstellar Carrier's blueprint. A holographic 3D model of the entire starship appeared, and all of the data displayed before them.

"Alisa, we'll need to stay here for a while. This T5 starship is the key to establishing our nation. We must fully understand it and produce a complete model. The materials for its construction, including dark matter and dark energy crystals, are ready. Additional T5-level materials will arrive within seven days."

But Alisa was barely listening. Her entire attention was captured by the Orca, muttering its specs as if entranced by the ship's design.

Feng Mo smiled at the sight. Alisa had an obsession with starship research and snacks that she couldn't resist—they enchanted her every time.

In the following days, Feng Mo and Alisa engaged in intense discussions. This starship required time for them to thoroughly absorb and understand. Typically, building a T5-class starship takes about six months, according to the Federation's standards.

Mass production was possible, but the scale of a T5-class starship meant they couldn't manufacture many at once. Alisa had merged the separate docks on the Beast Roar Prime Star into two massive ones, just large enough to meet the T5 construction requirements.

The technology for constructing this carrier was all laid out in the blueprint. Feng Mo and Alisa's job was simply to realize it. However, in the process of simulating construction holographically, they encountered all sorts of challenges.

Fortunately, they both had experience building quasi-T5 starships, so troubleshooting went relatively smoothly. After ten days, aided by AI, they had fully digested the blueprint. Without AI assistance, it would have taken three times as long.

With the plans absorbed, they could start building. However, constructing a T5 starship required more than just Feng Mo and Alisa—even with robotic arms, completing the project in under two years would be a stretch.

Luckily, there was a team of starship engineers next door. Feng Mo decided to include them in the project on the condition that they would remain in the Beast Roar System for the next ten years, with family relocated as needed. These preventive measures ensured no one leaked information.

Feng Mo was confident that within a decade, he could build an entire T5 fleet. Once that happened, letting the engineers go wouldn't matter; they wouldn't have access to core secrets, and their loyalty had been proven time and time again.

Days turned into weeks, then months. Feng Mo lost track of time, his personal terminal abandoned somewhere, his clothes unchanged for seven days. He and Alisa poured all their energy into constructing the T5 Orca-Class Interstellar Carrier.

During Feng Mo's period of near-seclusion, the three women didn't idle. Ai Er took command of the four fleets, Kylan managed administrative affairs across the four systems, and Chu Yunjian coordinated with them both.

Together, the three women accelerated development across the systems, with the Hurricane System advancing the fastest. Ai Er even commissioned an 8.8-square-kilometer building on the Hurricane's main star, encompassing a shopping mall, amusement park, and interstellar game simulation center—an all-in-one entertainment complex. At the core, however, lay the auction house, which Ai Er, with Feng Mo's approval, named the Fengshen Auction House.

This auction house served a purpose Feng Mo had set before leaving: to auction treasures from the white hole and fruits of the Devouring Ancient Tree. With the next white hole eruption approaching, it would coincide with a grand auction marking the establishment of his nation.

This auction would be the new kingdom's first appearance on the galactic stage, and Feng Mo wanted it flawless. No expense was spared in constructing the Fengshen Auction House.

In a flash, six months passed, and the white hole predictably erupted, releasing a large quantity of dark matter and dark energy crystals, as well as some rare star seeds and other treasures. Ai Er supervised the fleet in collecting these assets.

Feng Mo missed this, as he was deep within the Beast Roar Prime Star's shipyard, completing the final stage of the T5 Orca-Class Interstellar Carrier: the trial voyage.

"Activate the Orca's T5 dark energy engine. Entering shipyard passage."

In the control room, the crew excitedly guided the Orca, and within minutes, it glided out of the shipyard's passage.

Most starships employ a closed structure, relying on radar imaging to display the surroundings in the control room. The Orca was no exception.

Once it exited the shipyard, the Orca set course for the northern space station in the Beast Roar System.

This brief journey served as its initial trial run, operating in full-speed mode—the best way to identify potential issues. But Feng Mo decided to take it up a notch.

"Unlock the Orca's engine restraints, enter max-speed mode, and set course for the northern space station. Let's go!"
