I held on, gods, I didn't want to, she'd stoked the fire so hot I didn't think I could— I smiled as her body let go, and bliss tore through us both.
Unnnhhhh! I groaned our release, then reality fractured.
There was teal light, and everything was beautiful. All around us time and space swirled like a whirlwind, but a peaceful one. It smelled like early morning dew on rose petals, and my bare feet touched soft ground. I looked down. I was bare chested, but I had on loose pants. My hand was in Shay's, and she was next to me, smiling, in a yellow sundress.
We weren't alone. I stilled, afraid. But they weren't worried. They were only barely there.
Ryst? Nayth? I'm Shah.
No response, just a presence.
I don't know what to say other than "Thank You." I think you must've looked out for me and my brother. I don't remember it, but Ronnie seems to think that's true, and he's usually right. Well, even if you had nothing to do with me directly, you were wrapped around Euri's mind and heart, weren't you, Ryst?
And that means you're wrapped around mine. Because Euri and I are a package deal. So, thank you. Thank you for looking after him, and for growing him into such an amazing person.

I'm glad we're here talking to you. I'm scared. I'm scared of so much. But it feels nice here. Wherever this is that Euridyne and I keep coming too, well, it's connected to you, isn't it?
I'm not ready to come here permanently. I don't really understand what this is. But, it feels really good. It's safe. It feels like pure love. And this must be where you really went. Am I right?

That's okay. I can tell that this is good, and I know that you are good. So, I'm going to keep holding on. And when I'm too scared to live, I'm gonna remember this place. Because if something bad happens to me or someone I love, this is where we're gonna be next, isn't it? So, there's not really anything to be afraid of, is there?

So, we're gonna do what you said, Ryst. We're gonna live our lives. Keep finding telepaths. Keep finding Talented. Connect people. Maybe some of them will go to Five Spheres. We will just keep finding people who feel alone and connect them.
The wind is everywhere, and Euri can sense it. So, it will help us, and we will use our powers for good. Maybe none of this is what you had in mind when you left instructions to tell your story in 150 years, but this is the way we're doing it, and I like it this way.
