Chapter 612: Home
Bei Sangyun pulled him closer. Fei Chuan almost lost his balance, but he caught himself just in time, bracing his arms on either side of her to avoid collapsing on top of her. The tips of their noses touched, their breaths mingling—fresh and minty in the quiet room.
"Sleep with me then. You don't have to be sneaky. This bed is big, you know."
"I can't... I promised Grandma Bei." Fei Chuan could feel her warm breath. He smelled the light scent of her shampoo. Her soft, warm body beneath him made his heart pound, and heat surged downward, pooling in his groin. The redness on his ears crept from his neck to his face. His breath grew heavy.
Bei Sangyun, so close to him, immediately noticed the rising heat in his body and the flush on his cheeks. She glanced down—and saw the tent forming beneath his pants.
For a moment, it felt like his heat had transferred to her. Her own cheeks flushed, and her eyes glinted with a mix of mischief and desire.
Fei Chuan desiring her… turned her on even more.
Sorry, Grandma, she thought. Your granddaughter is naughty.
Bei Sangyun wrapped her arms tighter around his neck and kissed him. Fei Chuan's body stiffened. She kissed him deeply, her tongue hovering near his lips, but he didn't respond. Clearly aroused, yet still refusing to kiss her back.
Leaning closer, she moved her lips to his ear and softly bit it. "Grandma won't know."
Veins were visible on Fei Chuan's forehead and arms as he struggled to control his desire with everything he had. He gently pried Bei Sangyun's hands off him. But she was so turned on that her hands kept roaming all over his body. She even reached down, trying to touch the bulging tent between his legs.
Fei Chuan immediately grabbed those naughty hands. To stop her from moving more, he hugged her tightly, trapping both of her arms. Then he turned her around and spooned her from behind. Bei Sangyun instantly felt the warm, hard pressure of his arousal against her back.
"Bei Sangyun…" Fei Chuan was breathing heavily. He called her name, his voice thick with both desire and self-control. "Please… not now, okay?" His tone was filled with pleading. He was clearly struggling.
Bei Sangyun finally stopped being naughty. She pouted. "Alright. I'll stop."
Fei Chuan slowly let go and created some space between them. Bei Sangyun turned to face him. "I know you want to respect Grandma—and me. But think about my wishes too, okay? I want you. And I'm ready."
Fei Chuan kissed her forehead."…I know. Thank you for putting up with me."
This was the main reason he always booked two-bedroom suites. If they shared the same bed, no matter how much self-control he had, if Bei Sangyun touched him and insisted… he'd eventually give in.
And he might break his promise.
Bei Sangyun felt really sad. It was like having a big, delicious pie in front of her—one that was hers—but she wasn't allowed to eat it. No matter how hungry she was, the pie just sat there, tempting but forbidden.
Still, she understood Fei Chuan. He had made a promise to her grandma, and once he gave his word, he would stubbornly keep it.
Bei Sangyun hugged him again. Cuddling to sleep should be okay… right?
But the moment she wrapped her arms around him, something thick and hot pressed against her abdomen.
Bei Sangyun: "….." It's still not down yet?
Fei Chuan immediately pulled away from her hug.
"I need to go to the restroom. You sleep first." And with that, he quickly left the room.
Bei Sangyun: "….."
Dang. This room is private, my hands are free, and I'm willing. Why can't he just let me help?
.....
After breakfast at the hotel, Fei Chuan told her the private jet was waiting for them.
Bei Sangyun didn't ask where they were going or what the date would be. She simply followed Fei Chuan, content to enjoy being by his side, feeling the novelity of being an 'accesory' of a powerful big shot.
They landed thirty minutes later at a private airstrip surrounded by scenic beauty. This place was a three-hour drive from the Capital, tucked between lush green valleys and a vast stretch of ocean. From the sky, Bei Sangyun had seen rolling hills covered in wild grass, the faint glimmer of white sand, and waves breaking gently on the shore.
As soon as they stepped out, the fresh sea breeze carried a salty fragrance that immediately lifted her mood.
"I didn't know there was such a beautiful beach just three hours away from the Capital," Bei Sangyun said, her eyes brightening as she admired the scenery.
"It's not just the beach that's beautiful," Fei Chuan said beside her. "The valleys are fertile. You can grow anything here—flowers, fruit, even vineyards. This land breathes life."
Soon, they reached the mansion—an expansive modern villa nestled on a gentle slope overlooking both the sea and the valley.
The driveway curved gracefully through tall trees before revealing a house that looked like it belonged on the cover of an architecture magazine—sleek lines, high glass walls reflecting the sunlight, and natural stone accents blending effortlessly with the surrounding landscape. The mansion was a perfect harmony of ancient and modern, with sprawling terraces, ivy-covered balconies, and a wide veranda that opened into the view of the sea.
"Do you want to tour the villa first?" Fei Chuan asked, glancing at her with a smile.
Bei Sangyun let out a soft laugh. "Why do I feel like I've been touring so many places lately? Are you secretly training to become a tour guide?"
"Only for you," Fei Chuan replied with a wink.
The inside of the villa was just as impressive—spacious halls filled with soft natural light, polished wood floors, and minimalist decor that somehow still felt warm. The furniture was modern yet cozy, with soft earth tones and plush cushions. Each room seemed carefully curated for comfort and peace. Even the artwork on the walls felt familiar—calming landscapes and subtle pieces that reflected Bei Sangyun's taste.
Though everything looked recently furnished, the place had no signs of being lived in. Aside from a few discreet guards and the caretaker, the entire property was quiet, as if it had been waiting just for them.
As Bei Sangyun walked through the grand living room, sunlight streamed gently through the tall windows, casting warm patterns on the polished wooden floor. She immediately fell in love with the place. It gave her the same feeling she had when she spend her childhood days at the hut in River Village, and later at the Bei mansion in the Capital where Grandma Bei and Maid Ye Zhai had waited for her—the quiet, comforting feeling of being home.
Fei Chuan led her from one room to another, pointing out the details with subtle pride. But just before they reached the final hallway, he paused.
"Before we go to the rooms," he said, his eyes twinkling, "I want to show you the garden."
He reached for her hand, and she followed him outside.
They walked through a stone path that curved behind the villa until it opened up to a breathtaking sight.
