SSS Ranked Dragon King: My Innate Ability is Unbelievable.

Chapter 130: It's best not to be too curious.

He unconsciously gulped when he tried to probe Su Ping yet all he felt was nothing, as if the man standing Infront of him was nothing more than a ghost, a being with trace.

"...?"

The frightened knight suddenly caught something within his hand, his eyes trembled at the sight of it. A mid grade mana stone! This was worth 100 gold coins!

" I hope there's no issue, is their officer?" Su Ping flashed the man a knowing gaze.

" Y-Yes...Yes, your right, you can go right ahead sir. I hope you enjoy your stay." The enforcer knight struggled to speak properly, the gift of 1 mid grade mana stone was simply too much for him to accept. But that didn't mean he didn't stuff it into his pocket the next moment.

Finally allowed clearance, Their caravan headed into the city. Su Pings eyes widened a little with astonishment at the sight of the bustling metropolis before him.

' So this is a city within the Black district...' Su Ping thought to himself, unlike the primitive and crude Abyss, this place resembled 17th century Europe in more ways than one.

" Let's find an inn first. You need to rest, after all you've done." Melinda kissed Su Ping on the cheek from behind.

Su Ping chuckled before agreeing. An inn would be a good place for them to start, moreover, they needed a place to park the caravan since the multiple undead were soon begining to garner attention again.

Su Ping and Melinda didn't take much time to find an inn, from the looks of it, such businesses were well off within the city. They were lucky enough to find one that was able to house their entire caravan. Su Ping had the undead stay inside the carts before the rest of them headed inside to get checked in.

The inn's door swung open and the four of them stepped inside. Mel and Sal stuck close to their father. The site of Melinda and kids weren't knew around these parts but the inn's patrons who were seated within the lobby on different tables couldn't help but have their gazes lingering on Su Pings striking figure.

The cloaked man who's face couldn't even be deciphered was like a black spot on a white canvas. Su Ping knew his appearance stuck out like a soar thumb but it couldn't be helped.

He was trying as much as possible to leverage on the Dark mage stereotype or in this case, the necromancer stereotype to avoid suspicions.

His unreadable strength also helped in keeping away some troublesome people who were intrigued by him.

" G-Good day sir. Would you like to rent out a room." The female receptionist paled at the sight of the tall, masked figure. Her obvious apprehension left Su Ping speechless, he hadn't even done anything yet everyone seemed wary of him.

" Yes we'd like just one room please." Melinda spoke up for her husband. The receptionist calmed down a little when she faced Melinda.

" Our rooms cost 10 copper coins per night"

BAM!

The receptionist trembled when Su Ping slapped ten copper coins onto the counter the instant she finished speaking. Su Ping felt eager to get things over with, the quicker he found Melinda them a place to stay, the quicker he could go out to search this city in hopes of commencing with his mission.

The receptionist girl perspired when she saw the visible palm mark on the counter, even though Su Ping had restrained himself, his eagerness had accidentally let some strength show.

" Just let me complete the paperwork." The receptionist hurried on with her work. Su Ping and Melinda could only wait patiently, meanwhile, Sal and Mel where curiously glancing at the other patrons in the inn, their eyes filled with genuine interest after being transferred to a new environment.

" Captain, looks like I'll quest will be done soon." A pair of adventurers walked into the inn.

" No need to act so relived, do you want the young miss to mistakenly hear us." said the Old looking adventurer.

" Hahaha, I'm sorry captain. I and the others were just tired from all the chaos that's all." Said the younger adventurer but his brows raised when he noticed his companion had suddenly frozen as if he'd seen a ghost.

" Lad, is that actually you?"

Melinda was momentarily surprised when she heard a familiar voice. " Senior, it's actually you." She said when she saw the Old adventurer from the escort group.

" Hahahaha, it really is you lot. This is wonderful, I actually thought you had..." The Old man walked over to their group, his voice was filled with excitement after confirming his thoughts, yet his voice chocked in his throat at the latter part of his sentence.

" It's nice to meet you as well senior, I'm glad your as healthy as ever." Su Ping turned around and said yet the Old man's expression dampened like one who had been caught red-handed with betrayal.

" Brother, please don't hate the captain. Our leader really wanted to turn back, back then."

" There's no reason to say such words. I don't see why I should be upset with you. You all only did what you had to to survive." The Old man's face creased even more at Su Pings words, even his. Party member showed a look of guilt as well.

Melinda stood at the side, her gaze conflicted. She could tell that her husband was burning with resentment at the Old senior for what he had done but she herself couldn't find it in her to hate him since he had only acted because of how impossible the situation seemed.

Nevertheless, she didn't side with the Old man either. Her husband was the only one she would always side with, she had already vowed within her heart to always follow him no matter what decision he chose, so long as he listened to her opinion first, she would be satisfied.

" Is that person related to the seven swords adventurers party?"
