Modret only had the time to dodge the poisonous attack, which caused him to feel a sting even though it hadn't hit him.
After dodging the attack it was already too late and the deadly scaly figure of the snake loomed over him.

Modret was sent flying and he crashed into the ice wall, his eyes filled with a mixture of surprise and amazement.

A devastating wind strike echoed silently like a sonic boom into the air and the air seemed to gain weight as it rushed toward the fire lotuses.
In the blink of an eye both attacks encountered each other and the next moment the wind attack collided with the fire lotuses.
Unable to destroy them, the wind attack could only send the fire lotuses flying in different directions.

The black fire immediately spread through the ice, burning it and melting it into liquid.
Burning in four different directions, heat immediately spread between the two.
Modret stared down at the python and the python did the same to him.

The python thrashed around and, feeling the fire burn through the chains binding it, it immediately tried to attack Modret once more.
