SSS Rank Chef: Rising In The World Of Magic

Chapter 31: The Chosen Ones

Almost an hour later, the tribesmen saw Lukas and his sister walked out of the hut with Otak.

"Gather berries and nuts if you're hungry. There's no need to hunt today since I have something for the whole tribe." he said, smiling at them.

'Divine Farm.'

[Divine Farm - E+ Rank]

Mana Density: E+

Crops Per Plot: 16 Plants/2 Trees

Creatures Per Plot: 16 Small / 8 large Creatures

Total Plots: 20

Empty Plots: 5

Lukas didn't bother looking at his inventory. Instead, he checked the plots instead.

Plants/Trees: Potato, Chilli, Onion, Tomato, Garlic, Dumbnut Tree, Rice, Wheat, Sugarcane

Creatures: Cow, Chicken, Sheep, Long Horned Rabbit, Crimson Viper, Ash Viper

One thing to note about the Divine farm's Creature limits, was that it was easy to take advantage of. Small and large creatures were only separated through weight and the line that marked the separation was 200 kilograms.

Anything above that, even if that creature weighed a hundred tonnes, would still fall under the large creature category. This meant that no matter how heavy a creature was, Lukas could have eight of them in a single plot.

Currently, every creature was under the small category except for the cow.

A large creature could reproduce once a day and a small one could do it twice. Apart from that, Lukas could also automatically collect resources like milk, eggs and wool from his animals once every six hours or twelve hours based on their category.

Small creatures had a cooldown of six hours and the large creatures had a coodown of twelve hours.

In front of the people, Lukas raised his hand up into the air and began to dance like a fake exorcist. After a minute, be bowed in front of the totem and made two large lambs appear beside him. Just a moment after, he turned around and locked eyes with the person closest to him.

It was the muscular guy who had mocked him at the start but now, the only thing in his eyes was reverie.

"Bring me a huge container. Clean." The guy nodded and to Lukas's surprise, jumped high up into the air. With just a single leap, he covered a distance of more than twenty meters.

In less than ten seconds, he was back with two huge bamboo baskets that were woven expertly. Lukas wasted no time as he hovered his palms over the baskets and right in front of everyone, made rice fall into the baskets.

Nina who as standing with the tribesmen this time, couldn't help but curl her lips upwards as she watched her brother's antics. Meanwhile the people around her were going crazy as they pushed Lukas's value even higher than before in their minds.

"Prepare the lambs and distribute the rice to those who have pots. They will be responsible for cooking this." he said and then, gave out the instructions on how to wash and cook the rice properly.

Once that was done, he walked back to the hut and began looking through the information of all tribesmen. He wished to make a group that could help him expand the tribe, hunt mutated beasts and hopefully join him when he left the island.

As he went through the information, he recalled the rules of the tribe.

'Even though I'm a shaman, rules of a tribe can't be changed easily.' he thought as he looked out the open door to see a sizeable group of women heading out with pots of rice.

'Kids younger than 16 cannot undergo a mutation ritual no matter how talented they are. As for those older than 16, only those who prove themselves will have a chance.' he recalled as he closed his eyes.

Time quickly passed as he took note of certain names and put them through a very specific filter, eliminating most names as he finally settled on three that fit most of his criteria.

"Big Uke… to think that I'd end up selecting one of his brothers, heh." Lukas muttered as he glanced at Small Uke's brother.

He was a short but decently muscular young man who was nineteen years old. He wasn't particularly handsome but he wore a serious look on his face most of the times. The only person who could change this, was his younger brother and sister.

'He's just a few months younger than me but his stats are almost triple of mine… tch. I shouldn't be jealous… no jealousy.'

Soon, he moved his gaze to the other two. Both of them were girls and had decent looks. If a person with a completely objective view saw all three that were selected by Lukas, then they'd say that the girls were slightly more attractive than the guy.

They were both taller than Uke. One of them had a slim build while the other was pretty muscular, even more than Uke who could be considered very muscular for his age.

'And they don't even have steroids here. Damn.' Lukas thought as he looked away from the girls. Both of them were actually older than him.

"Maybe I can get them to train with Nina…" he thought as he glanced at his sister who was staring right at him.

He didn't look away and instead, paused for a moment before saying, "Do you think that we'll be able to go back home?"

Nina shrugged, "We… don't have a home."

Lukas said nothing as he nodded. She was right, they didn't really have a home anymore. While he was lost in his own thoughts, he heard her say more.

"This can be home…"

'Nah that's too risky.' he thought inwardly, but nodded, "Maybe it could."

"Two more days to full moon." she said, reminding him of her problems.

Lukas chuckled as he glanced at her, "Right, it's finally time. When I asked for vampire blood, I didn't expect the prince to directly give us a Sanguine Earl's blood."

It was only after he finished speaking that he realised something and frowned.

'Drinking vampire blood during the full moon is basically a simplified ritual, isn't it?'
