SSR Waifu Summoner

Chapter 118: The Next Destination

The morning after Waifuria's ridiculous naming celebration, the group gathered in the villa's main hall for their departure briefing.

Maps and notes covered the central table, everyone's attention focused on their next destination.

Present at the meeting were the six girls… Dia, Zara, Frila, Carmen, Nell, and Isabell.

At the side were Celis, Helya, who's currently taking a rest after delegating tasks to Belkia, and Felt, who would bring the meeting's details to Luna who's busy with her stuff.

"Based on everything we've learned from Niya and the merchants in Eidralis," Frila began, pointing at a roughly sketched map as she compiled all the books and noted in front of her, "Legendor should be our next destination."

"Legendor..."

Carmen repeated the name thoughtfully.

"The catgirl said it's the rumored base of mythical heroes from the ancient legends and heroes, right? … It still sounds almost too fantastical to be real."

"According to the information Ms. Luna provided," Zara added, gesturing to detailed notes spread across the table, "Legendor materialized as one of the 13 major territories that merged with Earth's land about 3 weeks ago…"

"Speaking of Luna, where is she?" Nero asked, glancing around the gathered group.

"... In her laboratory," Felt replied with a wry smile. "She left explicit instructions this morning: 'Don't disturb me. All the information you need is already compiled. If anyone knocks, I'm freezing them solid.'"

"... That was a dumb question to ask."

Nero noted to himself.

Of course, where would she be most of the time aside from her precious laboratory?

And not to mention,

"Looks like she really didn't like the name?" Dia said with a bit of an awkward smile.

"I mean… would you be happy when the land you magnificently cultivated and owned suddenly got named as the land of wives?" Carmen replied wryly.

'… Fair point.' Everyone else thought but knew better not to comment about.

But as if sensing their thoughts,

"What are you talking about? A cultured island full of beautiful ladies must have a cultured name too, isn't that common sense?"

Nero blinked and looked at them as if he couldn't understand their thought process.

It's normal to name it something simple but unique, right?

The name "Waifuria" obviously hit that spot.

These ladies just don't know how to appreciate his spectacular naming sense, that's all.

Tsk tsk. Seriously, if only there were more cultured people like him on this island.

'Surely, the men of culture would understand and nod in agreement once they heard this magnificent name.' Nero thought with a smug look while nodding to himself.

"..."

This guy is truly shameless, huh.

The six ladies who came from the modern world and could somehow understand where he's coming from looked at him with a deadpan look.

But if you look closely, one couldn't help but see the faintest blush on their cheeks when they think they're one of the "beautiful ladies" that he mentioned.

Felt who's weak at such casual compliments from the opposite gender other than her father had the same blush, while Helya was just boldly laughing at their cute reactions.

"A-Anyway! How about Lady Aurelia?"

"Aurelia is... resting," Celis gently said in response to Frila's question.

But that was clearly another rookie mistake…

Because the following words of the First Saintess only served as a "fuel to the fire" that set their cheeks hotter than before,

"... She expressed that she required additional sleep this morning. 'Twould be best not to disturb her recovery."

"..."

The way several of the girls suddenly found the ceiling very interesting coupled with a rising steam from their heads as they clearly heard the blissful noises that came from Nero's room last night.

Heck, even Helya who's usually bold roughly made a coughing sound with a faint blush as she remembered when she was about to privately talk to Nero about the future construction plans during the night.

And as expected of the bold and rowdy type like her, she happily barged in without a second thought of any sort of courtesy.

And well…

Let's just say she stumbled upon an "unholy naughty scene and noises' from the supposedly stoic holy angel that made her freeze in place…

"..."

Lesson #1: Always knock before entering.

Helya felt a bit awkward as she had her eyes closed.

And as for the man in question?

'Right. Last night was pretty... intense.'

A couple of great and steamy sessions were added to his memories last night.

'… I really should learn magic… and to always lock the door.'

Lesson #2: Lock the doors before doing your thing.

The man was too excited to eat the fruit, that's all.

And thinking it's all ladies in this land, it would not be too embarrassing if they were seen.

But clearly, that applies only for him, but not for his angel.

He could still remember how Aurelia froze for five straight minutes after Helya went out in a hurry while awkwardly apologizing before closing the door.

Sigh… Another rookie mistake on his part.

"Ehem." Nero cleared his throat, pushing past the moment.

"... Anyway, back to the briefing. What else do we know about Legendor?"

"R-Right…"

Frila fumbly picked up where they'd left off, consulting Luna's meticulously organized notes.

"According to Ms. Luna's books, multiple pantheons' heroes supposedly reside there, creating a concentration of power for both otherworldly humans and those who seek and preside over powerful individuals that uphold justice in its name."

"Heroes from different mythologies all in one place?" Zara asked, her curiosity obvious. "Wouldn't that create conflicts? Different cultural expectations, competing claims of superiority..."

"The land is guided and led by the Knights of the Round Table," Celis explained, her gentle voice carrying certainty. "'Tis a council full of legendary heroes from various tales that presides over justice, led by none other than the King and representative of Legendor... Arthur Pendragon himself."

"King Arthur?" Carmen's eyes widened slightly. "The King Arthur? With Excalibur and Camelot and everything?"

"'Tis so," Celis confirmed with a serene nod. "The Knights of the Round Table govern Legendor with the ideals of chivalry and righteousness. Heroes who once fought in separate dimensions now gather under their banner and common purpose."

"Sounds like my kind of place," Helya commented with a grin, her tiger tail swishing with obvious excitement. "Lots of strong people to test ourselves against!"

"We're not going there to pick fights," Nero reminded her with a chuckle. "We're going to gather information, make connections, and see what opportunities exist."

*Knock! Knock! Knock!*

Suddenly, a person knocked on the door prompting everyone to look.

"Come in."

Nero gestured and then revealed a wolf beastkin who immediately reported,

"Sorry for the disturbance… but Master Nero, based on our current speed we should arrive at Legendor's borders by tomorrow afternoon. The weather patterns look favorable, so barring unexpected complications, the journey should be smooth."

"Good work."

Nero nodded with satisfaction before relieving her of her duty as they continued the meeting afterwards.

***

"Alright, that's it for today, good work everyone.

As the meeting dispersed and everyone scattered to handle their tasks, Nero found himself standing alone in the villa's entrance hall.

His hand then moved almost unconsciously to his system interface, pulling up the card inventory that had been weighing on his mind since yesterday's celebration.

Three golden SSR-tier cards originally, except for Aurelia who's a special case of evolution.

Celis, the gentle First Saintess whose healing powers were completely miraculous and has the power of resurrection.

Luna, who's secondly summoned, whose genius had already proven invaluable, while her magic, while still unseen, must also be beyond overpowered in Nero's opinion.

And then there's one more,

"..."

The final golden card materialized in his hand, its surface pulsing with barely-contained crimson energy that felt distinctly different from the others.

"..."

He studied it for a long moment, feeling the oppressive energy radiating even through the card's containment.

'This one feels... rowdier than the others.'

The power was aggressive, demanding, like a caged beast waiting to be unleashed.

'Better do this somewhere with space to spare.'

Nero made his way out of the villa, walking past the newly constructed village and toward the more remote areas of the floating island.

The sun hung peacefully overhead, birds chirping in Luna's carefully maintained ecosystem.

It would be a shame to ruin the place that they have in case of whatever explosion that could potentially happen.

***

After about 15 minutes of walking, he reached a clearing far from any structures.

Empty grassland stretched in all directions, with the nearest building at least 2 km away from the settlement.

'This should work.'

He pulled up the card again, watching as crimson energy pulsed more intensely now that he was committed to the summoning.

The image depicted on the card showed a woman who could only be described as terrifyingly impressive.

Wild crimson hair that cascaded past her shoulders in untamed waves.

A muscular, battle-scarred body that spoke of countless fights survived.

Work armor that covered the bare minimum while showcasing abs that could probably deflect bullets and arms that looked capable of bending steel.

But just as she looked strongly muscular, the girl was also stacked in the right places.

A hefty amount of fats were stuffed into her bosom and buttocks.

If Nero were to compare, Velraeth's is a tad bit bigger in both "upper" and "lower" body sizes.

Though he was sure it was because she seems generally bigger in size overall.

Well, with that being said it's definitely a figure for those with muscular female body fetish…

Definitely a sight for the sore eyes.
