Splitting the Heavens

Chapter 1933:The Drifting Spirit World Pt.4

"Fortunately, I wasn't too late!"

Just as the experts of the Spirit Ruling World and Spirit Frost World had descended into despair, Shang Xia's voice echoed in the ears of the Ying Brothers and the Giant Ape King like a divine blessing.

Yet just as a spark of hope was kindled in the Ying Brothers' hearts, worry inevitably followed. "Be careful, Sage Shang, our worlds have already begun sliding toward the center of the great spatial vortex!"

Though phrased as a warning, their words carried a hidden concern. Did Shang Xia truly have the power to rescue the two worlds from being dragged into the spatial vortex?

After all, the combined strength of the Ying Brothers and the Giant Ape King was already formidable. It was strong enough that even an ordinary Sage wouldn't dare to fight them when they joined hands.

"Hehe, don't worry. It will stop soon." Shang Xia's voice came again. It rang clearly through the roaring void currents.

Just as Ying Lianquan was about to ask how he intended to accomplish that, a stable channel suddenly split through the chaotic void. Shang Xia stepped forth from the passage, walking toward them.

The Ying Brothers and the Giant Ape King immediately spotted his figure. Seeing that he had come alone, they couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.

Especially considering that all three of them currently wielded power that allowed them to contend with Sages that had been granted to them by the World's Will. They quickly discovered the cultivation of the Shang Xia before them. He was merely a second star Sage.

Even under the strain of Spirit Ruling World's crumbling world will, the Ying Brothers could still maintain that strength. When using their secret art, they could push their strength close to the second star.

The Giant Ape King, supported by the far more stable Spirit Frost World, wielded the power of a second star Sage outright.

In such circumstances, even one more cultivator at the second star wouldn't change the fate of their worlds. Their fall into the spatial vortex seemed inevitable.

As the three hesitated over how to respond, Shang Xia appeared to sense their thoughts. He simply smiled before flicking his sleeves. Three streams of starlight shot out from his hand, straight at them.

Two of the streams landed in the hands of the Ying Brothers, while the third was caught by the Giant Ape King.

Shang Xia's voice followed. "Fuse that with your World Origin Source. It will greatly replenish the world origin that has been used up to prevent your worlds from falling apart when we drag you out."

Items capable of supplementing world origin?

The Ying Brothers and the Giant Ape King stirred at his revelation. They each opened the sealed spirit cases in their hands. As they did, a concentrated wave of origin qi surged outward, revealing the treasures within. All three could clearly sense the vast reserves of energy they contained.

"Hurry and merge it into your World Origin Source. I'm giving them to you so you can speed up the process and increase the chances of you gaining the blessing from your World's Will."

Although the three did not believe that three small treasures could save their worlds, they wasted no time. There was nothing to lose anyway. Each started to fuse the treasures with their World Origin Source to accelerate the process.

As they were saving their World Origin Source, Shang Xia spoke again, this time to the Giant Ape King. "All three treasures are of similar size. I gave two to the Spirit Ruling World because their World's Will is already on the verge of collapse. In comparison, your Spirit Frost World is still in far better shape."

The Giant Ape King replied softly, "There's no need to explain. These items are yours. Naturally, it is your right to distribute them as you see fit."

Shang Xia merely nodded with a smile.

The next second, Ying Lianquan cried out in astonishment, "What exactly are these? Our World Origin Source is being rapidly replenished! No... It's even expanding!"

At that moment, not only Ying Lianquan, but also Ying Lianxi and the Giant Ape King sensed the explosive expansion occurring in the World Origin Source.

Ying Lianxi turned to Shang Xia and gasped, "These aren't ordinary origin treasures, are they? Are they perhaps crystallized world origin from the Essence Worlds?"

Shang Xia remained silent, but the smile on his face seemed to confirm it.

Ying Lianquan, meanwhile, couldn't help but express regret. "If our Spirit Ruling World hadn't drained the World Origin Source so heavily before, these two treasures would have supported the creation of two new continents!"

Ying Lianxi snapped at him instantly, "Don't be greedy. At least the foundation of our world is stable again, and we managed to recover some strength. We can once again rival a second star Sage."

The Giant Ape King also looked visibly pleased. Even though the Spirit Frost World only received one of the three treasures, it had restored enough world origin to fill the World Origin Source connected to one continent.

Though the situation remained critical and their fall into the great spatial vortex hadn't been averted, the treasures had at least given the experts a brief moment to catch their breath.

"Sage Shang, forgive our bluntness, but if you came alone, I'm afraid even with your help, it may still be impossible to change our fate." Ying Lianxi said directly after a brief pause.

A chuckle left Shang Xia's lips. "Who said I came alone? Ah, and one more thing. I'm not my true body. I'm just an External Avatar."

"Huh?" Ying Lianquan's jaw dropped and he looked visibly stunned, clearly finding it hard to believe.

The Ying Brothers had earned their reputation in the Chaotic Sea of Stars and had met their fair share of Sages. They were not the type to be easily fooled.

That was precisely why they could be confident in identifying the clone of a Sage when they saw one, especially now that they themselves possessed the strength of one. They should have had no problem spotting a mere clone.

Yet the figure before them, in both appearance and aura, seemed indistinguishable from an actual Sage.

Still, since the Shang Xia before them claimed to be an External Avatar, he was unlikely to be lying.

But what kind of clone could not only seem completely real, but even break the usual limit that restricted clones to be only at the first star?

Ying Lianxi and the Giant Ape King were equally surprised, but neither doubted Shang Xia's claim. In fact, the tension in their hearts eased significantly.

"Strictly speaking, I'm not an ordinary clone. Instead, I am an External Avatar. It is a technique developed and improved upon by my true body. However, I was made in a rush and only barely reached the second star." Shang Xia's External Avatar smiled as he explained.

"Then where is the real Sage Shang now?" Ying Lianxi asked instantly.

With a smile on his face, Shang Xia's External Avatar explained, "The moment I found you, my true body started making his way over with the Jiao Continent and the Ji Continent, which are large Star Ships."

No sooner had he finished speaking than the violent void current behind him split open. Two large Star Ships emerged and appeared before the astonished eyes of all the beings from both worlds.
