A blood frenzy is a state of total lack of control for vampires growing into adulthood. During childhood the vampire gains an almost insatiable hunger, during adolescence the vampire gains the first pair of abilities.

Something contrary to the fact that vampires are immortal beings, beings that do not die and do not have a means to die. 

Of course, vampires can kill each other thanks to their magic and their only natural enemy, silver. 

So when vampires enter a blood frenzy, they are in a moment where their lives are in much more danger than at any other time. They will not recognize friends from enemies, nor will they recognize themselves.

They will attack everything they know, even themselves. 

To be able to protect other people may be easier for many but to protect oneself is the most complicated. 

For some reason the teacher was writing much more than expected.

The teacher detailed a structure, which will not allow any vampire to leave this place. It was a structure that would be built empty.

It would create a container for the vampire to constantly consume blood. If a vampire is not sustained and given blood constantly, the vampire itself would seek blood or seek more and more to feed on. It will feed on its own blood, a vampire without blood cannot do much. 

Besides, in the blood frenzy, it is somehow the only time where regeneration would take time or fail. For this reason, it is also necessary to prevent vampires that suffer a blood frenzy from harming themselves.

In practice, there is not much besides being able to do a perfect maintenance of a safety zone. Besides being able to lock yourself inside the safe room.

The mechanism sounds perfect but that perfection is bound to fail' thought Valery, she had studied since childhood about the construction and creation of multiple things. She even learned a little about blacksmithing thanks to her friend, but it's a super-faithful knowledge. 

What she quickly concluded is that everything has flaws, the structure might not be able to withstand Katerin's super strength superior to the other vampires. Also, if Valery were to freeze using her cold body, it would reach a point where the mechanism would fail. 

The mechanism was destined to fail. 

Not to mention that they would not be conscious, it was more or less like sleeping without knowing if they would wake up or not. 

The heat was over, it was up to the students whether to aim or not. Their only obligation was to be in class and pay attention. 

Stelle, who was sitting next to Valery, looked back at him with a smile.

"Tomorrow do you want to have tea?" 

"Sure, I'll be with you tomorrow." 

"Katerin, will you join us too?" 

Katerin looked at Valery again for a moment, almost looking for a hesitation in his actions. Seeing no change she could only accept.

"Yes, I will be with you tomorrow." 

"Then I'll see you tomorrow when the sun rises. How I wish Marta would join us but she seems to have made a different decision" Stelle said with a hint of pity, she wanted her friends to be near her, to admire her.

Valery returned to his room where he found Victor lying in bed with a blanket. Valery looked at him calmly before sitting down next to him, moving her hands to his black hair. 

It was soft and... greasy

Valery had to take good care of him. Now that she thought about it, maybe she should have left him at home, taking care of him would be more difficult with all these problems.

What would stop a vampire from entering her room and threatening to kill her inert pet. Not to mention that Victor just stands still, he won't create any resistance.

Just by touching his hair, she knew he had to take a bath, but oddly enough, he did his other needs. But bathing or eating himself did not. 

She even had to take care of changing his clothes...

"Ha," she sighed.

"After Stelle's meeting, I promise to take better care of you!" Valery said faking one of her classic smiles.

"But first it's time to eat" Valery got up and saw that she had only a few jars of porridge left. Valery opened the jars, one smelled good, but the other had a sour and disgusting smell.

"Ah... I'll have to learn to cook first..." Valery quickly thought of Katerin, she was the only one who could help her learn to cook.
