Skill Extraction: Exploring Dungeons

Chapter 90 Farewell

In the hall of Big Gold Tooth Tavern

Kane and his friends are sitting around a table.

The table in the middle is filled with a variety of dishes.

Burton came out holding a whole roasted suckling pig.

"This is the last dish for today,"

he said, placing the roasted suckling pig in the center of the table.

Kane reached out to investigate it, hearing Burton say he wanted to make a maze dish for his team as a farewell gift.

Burton raised the wine glass on the table and said to everyone: "To your successful dungeon completion, cheers!"

Everyone raised their wine glasses and stood up.

"Cheers!"

This meal made everyone extremely happy, familiar friends, delicious food, and tasty wine.

The night gradually deepened

After the meal, Kreya led Kane into his room; he was already drunk by Burton and the others.

In the hall, Longbei was still competing with Burton.

Meizike had long been lying on another table, sound asleep.

Morning

Warm sunlight shone through the window onto the bedside.

The sensation on his face made Kane a little breathless.

Opening his eyes, he found it was Cotton Candy and removed it from his face.

Sitting up and squinting, he looked out the window to judge the current time based on the sunlight.

Rolling out of bed, he got a glass of water and handed it to the floating Cotton Candy beside him.

It was now as big as Kane's head.

Cotton Candy controlled the glass and absorbed the water inside.

Entering the bathroom to finish washing up, he changed out of his wine-stained clothes.

He began organizing his things in the room, placing them into his space pocket.

Each time he used the space equipment, Kane couldn't help but marvel at its convenience, it was simply refreshing.

Once he finally tidied up his belongings, he looked around to check for anything left behind.

Carrying Cotton Candy, he arrived at the hall of Big Gold Tooth.

At the bar, only Longbei and Burton were there, chatting about something.

When Kane walked over and sat down, Longbei patted him on the shoulder.

"Last night, your alcohol tolerance was so weak, you collapsed after a few drinks, you need to practice harder. A man can't have such poor alcohol tolerance."

Kane took the breakfast handed over by Burton, rolled his eyes, and ignored Longbei's words.

While eating, he asked, "Where's Meizike?"

Kane remembered before he passed out last night; Meizike was already drunk nearby, vaguely sensing it was Kreya who took him to his room.

"He said this morning he still needed to go back to the shop to tidy some things."

After speaking, Longbei took another sip from the nearby wine glass.

Drinking early in the morning, Dwarves are truly addicted to alcohol.

The clear sound of hooves reached his ears.

Kreya, holding Yoyo, came into the hall; she was wearing a light red, off-shoulder top and a black long skirt today.

It seems all of Kreya's everyday outfits feature long skirts to fully cover her lower body.

Not long after, Meizike also entered through the tavern door.

Looking at everyone, Kane said, "Is everything packed? We're about to leave."

Everyone nodded.

Now that all the team members were present, it was time to say goodbye to Burton.

"Let me escort you to the teleportation station; you formed your team in front of me and are soon departing."

Burton finished speaking and led everyone out of the tavern.

Arriving at the teleportation station outside the town, there was no need to purchase tickets to other places since this station only leads to Sokayamas.

Standing outside the teleportation station, Kane crouched down for a hug with Burton.

"Thank you very much for your help during this time, I'll visit you often."

Burton patted Kane's shoulder.

Everyone took turns hugging Burton.

Then they stood on the teleportation station, waving goodbye to Burton.

"You'll surely become remarkable Explorers."

In a flash of bright light, they disappeared from the teleportation station.

[Linked bond with Burton]

Just teleported to Sokayamas, a message from the system was received.

Kane smiled slightly and quickly led everyone out of the station, surrounded by various beams of light and soldiers shouting.

"Hmm, this city is pretty nice."

Longbei exclaimed as he looked around.

Except for Kane, it was everyone's first time in this city.

In their eyes, it wasn't a particularly prosperous city.

Declining the kind old lady's invitation, Kane and the others arrived at the Explorer's House beside the clock tower.

Pushing the door open, they immediately saw the Yang Jiaomei at the front desk.

Adoma saw Kane at the door and waved her hand while squinting.

Kane walked up.

"Long time no see, Adoma."

"Hehe, you too, Kane, did you clear [Crystal Arena]? That was quick! I heard there was an intelligent machine there; did you see it?"

It was the same familiar chatty tone.

"No rush, I'll be staying for a few more days."

Kane quickly said, stopping her from continuing.

"Alright," Adoma looked at the companions beside Kane. "Are they your teammates?"

Kane nodded and then introduced everyone to her.

After introducing Meizike and Longbei's names, they politely nodded their heads.

Kreya stepped forward, extended her hand, and shook hers, "Kreya Perec"

Adoma glanced at the heroic Centaur girl in front, her face slightly blushing.

She softly spoke, "Adoma Dacidaci"

Wait a minute, why are you blushing?

Kane stepped forward immediately and interrupted, "Are there any team suites in the accommodation area behind?"

Upon hearing Kane's question, Adoma took out a record book from below and flipped through it.

After flipping for a while, she looked up regretfully and said: "There aren't any, the last one was rented out last week."

She thought for a moment, took a business card from her pocket, and handed it to Kane.

"Go to the address above and find Granny Kebo; she seems to have more properties."

Kane accepted the business card and nodded.

Then he asked, "When is the next Mist Gate opening? One of my teammates hasn't gone through it yet."

"The Mist Gate just opened a few days ago; the next opening is in five days, you'll have to wait a while."

Adoma's tone was somewhat regrettable.

It seems the luck wasn't great this time; they could only rent a place for a few days to rest.

"You formed your team at Crystal Town, right?"

Yang Jiaomei suddenly said, looking at Kane and the others.

"Yes."

"Then you surely haven't registered your team, huh?"

Adoma's words reminded Kane that team registration could only be done at the Explorer's House or in large council outposts.

"Follow me; I'll take you to register your team."

After speaking, Adoma left the front desk, leading everyone to the back.
