Skill Extraction: Exploring Dungeons

Chapter 194 Mili

Within the collapsed and burning village.

Kane and the others spread out, searching each room for any signs of life.

To prevent any cries for help towards Sister Lulu from being trapped in the burning buildings, Meizike took out a large pile of blue potions from his Space Equipment, using the Hand of Magic along with his palms to throw countless potions towards the surrounding burning houses.

The water-blue Potion Bottles smashed onto the fiercely burning houses, and a large stream of water suddenly appeared at the broken location of the potion bottle.

Just one bottle of this water could quickly extinguish the flames engulfing an entire house.

Sometimes you had to marvel at the peculiar nature of Meizike's potions.

Meanwhile, Kane extended his senses to the fullest.

The life calling for Sister Lulu's help showed no magical reaction, rendering Kane's Eagle Eye useless in this situation.

The life that can call Sister Lulu for help and still be sensed by her must be a child, no doubt.

Finally, as Kane passed by a half-collapsed wooden house, he felt the heartbeat. Although faint, he knew he wasn't mistaken.

Looking at the wooden house in front of him, there was a corpse that had been gnawed at beside it, and from the remains, it seemed to be a woman.

Kane pinched out a few wooden stakes, stabilizing various parts of the house to prevent it from collapsing again, and crawled in through a shattered entrance.

He then closed his eyes, squatting on the ground, and carefully perceived.

Upon seeing a blanket laid on the ground before him, Kane lifted it, revealing a movable wooden board beneath his eyes, and he forcefully lifted the wooden board.

A girl about only five or six years old was curled up inside, covering her thighs with her hands, as a faint scent of blood reached Kane's nostrils.

The little girl had her eyes tightly shut, her face pale.

Kane immediately carried her out and crawled back out of the wooden house.

Not far away, Meizike and Lily saw Kane holding the small girl and ran over.

Four blue Magic Palms appeared beside Kane and took the small girl over.

The blue palms gently moved her hands away, revealing a deep, bone-penetrating wound on her thigh to everyone's eyes.

Red particles swirled into the wound like ribbons, and under Meizike's control, the Healing Particles quickly repaired the wound on her thigh.

Judging by the healing speed of her thigh, Meizike's particles seemed more potent than before, mending with greater precision.

In an instant, the bleeding stopped, while the blue Magic Palm held other medical tools to clean the wound's filth and debris.

Lily was anxiously pacing beside.

Kreya and Longbei continued searching each house to check for any more surviving lives.

When the red particles vanished, so did the girl's wound, and her complexion regained its rosy hue.

Yellow particles flowed out from Meizike's Potion Bottle, and under his guidance, slowly flooded into the little girl's body.

In no time, the little girl opened her eyes.

Upon seeing the strangers before her, she widened her eyes, her gaze filled with terror.

She clamped her hands tightly over her mouth, not wanting to let out a terrified scream.

Seeing her state, Lily directly appeared in front of her, waving her Magic Wand.

Several colored bubbles emerged, bursting in front of the little girl.

Lily's appearance and the bursting of bubbles seemed to soothe the little girl's nerves, easing her fear-stricken expression.

Kreya and Longbei came over at this point as well.

Facing Kane's questioning eyes, Kreya shook her head.

The blue Magic Palm slowly descended, gently placing the little girl on the ground.

Kane and the others did not rush to ask anything.

And Lily was flitting around the little girl with her wings, comforting her emotions.

"Thank you for saving me." The little girl seemed to stabilize emotionally, expressing her gratitude to Kane and the others.

She then looked towards the nearly destroyed village behind them, seemingly searching for something, murmuring, "Where's mom? Where's Mili's mom? She said she'd come find Mili soon."

Hearing the little girl's words, Kane and his companions didn't know how to respond for a moment.

Remembering the female corpse they saw in front of the house earlier, Kane felt a heavy weight on his chest.

"She's dead, besides you, it seems everyone in this village is gone." Lily bluntly told the harsh truth to Mili, the little girl.

Upon hearing Lily's words, Mili widened her eyes, tears streaming down and rolling down her slightly dirty face.

"Waaahh, ahhh!"

The little girl could no longer hold back her sadness, crying helplessly with her mouth open.

Hearing such cries, Kane and the others wanted to step forward to console but couldn't help stopping, as they knew not what words to comfort a girl who lost everything.

Meanwhile, Lily flitted with her wings, hovering in front of Mili, silently listening to her cries.

Soon, Mili's voice was completely hoarse, her eyes swollen and red.

At this moment, in a flash of colorful light, Lily suddenly became bigger, gradually matching the little girl's size.

She stepped forward and held Lily in her arms, her transparent wings fluttering behind, casting a soft starlight, enveloping her.

"The despairing pain and tragic experiences will be deeply buried in your heart, becoming nourishment for a resilient mind. Sweet memories, the hope for tomorrow, will echo in your mind, forming walls for a fragile heart."

Lily murmured, as the surrounding starlight poured into the little girl's body.

The little girl's mood gradually stabilized, and she extended her hands to wipe the tear stains off her face.

Kreya stepped forward, sat down, and took out a handkerchief from her Space Equipment to wipe the little girl's face.

Lily then returned to her original size, flying in front of Mili, with a soft chuckle asking, "I'm Lily, what's your name?"

The little girl sniffed, "I… my mom calls me Mili."

Beside her, Kreya extended her hand to lift Mili up and then stood up.

"My name is Kreya, you can call me Sister Kreya," said Kreya.

Mili nodded vigorously in Kreya's arms, "Yes, Sister Kreya."

"Me too, me too, call me Sister Lulu," Lily next to her hurriedly interjected upon hearing.

"Thank you, Sister Lulu."

Mili then directly hugged Lily, seeming very close to this Little Fairy now.

"Hehe"

The Little Fairy in her arms couldn't stop giggling foolishly.

The three men, including Kane, just stood silently by, watching this scene with smiles on their faces.
