The sky outside the window was still foggy and heavy.

Kane lay on his bed, feeling a bit short of breath.

He opened his eyes with some discomfort, and was then so shocked by the scene in the room that he was speechless.

"Beep beep"

"How did you grow so big overnight?"

Half of Kane's room was taken up by Cotton Candy.

But judging by Cotton Candy's expression, it didn't look uncomfortable, it even seemed a bit delighted.

Kane turned over and got out of bed, immediately going over to Cotton Candy and placing his hand on its body.

Looking at Cotton Candy's information bar, Kane was quite shocked.

It was a complete transformation, from a mascot-like cub to its current form. Judging by its Attributes and Skills, it could easily be considered a good helper.

Looking at the Skill Bar's [Cloud Expansion], Kane said to Cotton Candy, "Can you shrink a bit, to your smallest size?"

"Beep beep"

Upon hearing Kane's words, Cotton Candy chirped and then tightly closed its eyes.

Its expression seemed to be exerting effort.

Then its body began to slowly shrink, finally becoming the size of Kane's upper body.

Cotton Candy opened its eyes, looked at its current shape, and happily circled around Kane.

"Alright, alright"

Kane hugged Cotton Candy, making it stop.

"Are you hungry now? Do you want some water?"

"Beep beep"

Cotton Candy shook its head, then took a sharp breath in the direction of the bathroom.

A thin stream of water flowed out from the bathroom's tap and flew directly into Cotton Candy's mouth.

Kane patted Cotton Candy, praising, "You're really amazing now."

Cotton Candy squinted its eyes happily upon hearing this.

Kane went to the bathroom to freshen up, then dressed and brought Cotton Candy out through the villa's door.

Now, Kane was planning to go to the city's training grounds to test Cotton Candy's new Skills.

There was simply no space at home.

To be honest, Kane hadn't been to the training grounds in this city yet.

Cotton Candy followed beside Kane; its size no longer allowed it to casually sit on Kane's head.

Meanwhile, Yoyo lay on Cotton Candy, since it often topped Cotton Candy when it was smaller.

Now that Cotton Candy had grown, it also wanted to carry Yoyo.

"Yoyo, guide us to the training grounds."

Hearing its owner's words, Yoyo jumped off Cotton Candy and came to the front to guide Kane.

Since it was still early dawn, there weren't many pedestrians on the street.

Even with few passersby, they were all drawn to Cotton Candy beside Kane, unable to resist turning around to look at it.

Fortunately, it was still too early for many children to be up, let alone out and about.

Otherwise, Cotton Candy would have quickly gained a following of children, given its appearance—it'd be quite irresistible to them.

The training grounds were mostly near the city's edge, and following Yoyo through the winding streets took about an hour.

Finally, they arrived at the training grounds. It seemed to have just opened, with the door only slightly ajar.

Kane squeezed in, finding a middle-aged man inside cleaning up.

The man looked at Kane with a puzzled expression.

"I'd like to book a rather large training ground."

With that one sentence, Kane blocked the man's questions.

Though he didn't know why Kane came so early, business was business, so the owner opened a ground for Kane.

They followed the owner to the training grounds.

There, Kane could check the various basic facilities to see if he was satisfied. These facilities were far more advanced than the ones back at Crystal Town's training grounds.

Then again, it made sense.

After all, this was a large city.

And Crystal Town was just a small town.

Upon arriving at the center of the training ground,

Kane looked at the cloud ahead and said, "Cotton Candy, expand to your maximum size."

Hearing Kane's words, Cotton Candy began changing its shape. It seemed that having just shrunk enabled it to master the skill's knack.

This time, expanding didn't seem difficult at all, as it effortlessly grew to its largest size.

Cotton Candy's current size, its surface area was about as wide as Kane's room.

Seeing Cotton Candy now, Kane was tempted to lie on it.

"Can you lift me?"

Upon hearing Kane's words, Cotton Candy seemed to discover a new world, its big eyes sparkled.

"Beep beep," it excitedly chirped, wanting to try.

After getting Cotton Candy's response, Kane cautiously lay on top of it.

"Alright, let's try flying"

Upon hearing Kane, Cotton Candy began to float up.

Kane felt himself leave the ground and, peeping over the edge, looked down with excitement.

"How does it feel? Is it heavy?"

"Beep beep"

Cotton Candy felt it was fairly easy, as if Kane didn't add any pressure at all, having no impact on its flight.

Cotton Candy flew higher and higher with Kane.

Suddenly, Kane noticed the training ground owner below waving and shouting something.

"Fly down first"

Upon hearing Kane's command, Cotton Candy began to descend.

As they neared the ground, Kane could finally hear what the owner was shouting.

"Stop flying so high, come down immediately."

Once Kane was fully on the ground, the owner rushed over to him.

"How could you fly so high? There's a no-fly rule in the city, and while flying is permitted above the training grounds, you're not supposed to exceed a certain height, or I'll be fined. Don't you know that?"

"I'm sorry, my apologies, I just arrived in this city and wasn't aware."

Hearing the owner's words, Kane hurriedly apologized.

"Don't ever exceed 200 meters, got it."

Seeing Kane nod, the owner finally left.
