Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 963: 960: Tin Soldiers

Kiefer clenched his right fists as the Silver Elf was about to move. Thick vines suddenly shot out of the bark of the tree he was on, and they curled around him, tying him down to the tree.

"Damn it!"

The Silver Elf cursed, and lightning flashed across his body, but before he could execute his move, Kiefer attacked.

The vines pulsed with a green light, and thorns sprouted from every single vine.

Puchi!

"Ahh!"

The Elf screamed as the vines pierced through his silver flesh and made him bleed silver.

"Nature doesn't fear metal," Kiefer murmured, and his eyes glowed faintly with runes. "It breaks it."

The Silver Elf screamed, and silver lightning tore through the vines in desperate arcs, but more rose to replace them in a relentless fury.

Meanwhile, Willow's whip cracked like a serpent's fang. She danced between two dark silver swords of the last Tier 5 Silver Elf who was an expert swordsman.

The Elf attempted to cut Willow many times, but Willow would always use a gold shield to protect herself whenever she could not dodge.

Despite the attacks of the Elf which were clearly powerful enough to cut Willow in two, the shield in her hands was an Indigo Grade Shield with extremely high defensive capabilities.

Combining her shield with her whip while trying her best to keep her distance, made it very annoying and difficult for the Silver Elf to kill her.

Crack!

"Ahh!"

Her whip lashed across the Elf's shoulder, tearing a line through his metallic skin, and sparks and blood erupted in the same breath.

The Elf glanced at his shoulder with a frustrated and furious gaze, and then he lunged at her with his two silver swords emitting a sharp and blinding glow.

He swung his swords, and four sword slashes was released from his sword. Willow twisted midair, and her whip suddenly appeared around the Elf's legs, curling around it.

"What? When?" The Elf's eyes widened as he looked at his feet in disbelief, but Willow did not slow down in the slightest.

She took advantage of his surprised state, and she twisted her wrist. The whip moved like a snake, and before the Silver Elf could react, he was slammed into the ground hard enough to crater it.

BANG!

The battle turned into chaos. Silver, lightning, roots, whip strikes, sword slashes... Storm against storm, metal against wood, speed against sharpness.

It was a battle that completely changed the landscape, and if not for how sturdy the trees were, quite a number of trees would have fallen on the ground.

It was a sight the Tier 6 Silver Elves and Ecles would never forget because it was not meant to be so.

Selene fought like a tempest given flesh and bones. Her entire legs, from her feet to her thighs were covered in black metal like boots which had runic engravings on them as they crackled with electricity.

Her legs were like a blur of lightning strikes that cracked metallic bones and dented metallic flesh.

She did not relent one bit, and before long, all one could see around her were arcs of lightning that zapped nearly everything around them.

She was like a flash that wanted to run as fast as lightning.

Kiefer was covered in an armor made out of the roots of the colossal trees. There were severed and charred roots around him, but a few meters in front of him was a battered, bloodied, and panting Silver Elf who was surrounded by multiple roots with thorns on them.

Willow's whip never ceased, and the Silver Elf continued to suffer from its homing ability and illusory abilities. The whips's sharp cracks echoed like thunder, and each strike of her carved deeper into the unfortunate Silver Elf who had no idea why he was losing.

The Silver Elves, for all their fury, began to falter.

One by one, they fell.

Selene's armor covered knee shattered the jaw of the Elf, and then her heel caved into his already dented chest, crushing his heart.

Kiefer's roots curled around the Silver Elf like a python curling around its prey, and the thorns on the roots suddenly elongated and pierced through the skull of the Silver Elf, killing him.

Willow's shield blocked a desperate and madness fueled attack of the Silver Elf, and then her whip coiled around the throat of the Silver Elf.

She snapped it without hesitation.

The noise of the battle was over, and only the sound of the storms presided over the battlefield.

The Tier 6 Silver Eyes had eyes that were full of disbelief and denial. Even till now, they didn't believe that their people had died to those who were weaker than them.

They just couldn't.

How could they go back and tell the others that two Tier 4s and a Tier 2 for that matter had killed three of their Tier 5s?

It might have been believable if they were outnumber by many Tier 4s, but only two Tier 4s and a Tier 2?!

It felt like a dream to them.

They couldn't react, and they were truly stunned.

The bodies of the Silver Elves lay broken on the broken and scarred floor with their metallic sheen dulled by death.

Kiefer exhaled, wiping sweat from his brow as he dispersed his armor and the rune tattoos. The light in his eyes was slightly dim due to exhaustion, but it was not a cause for alarm.

Selene cracked her neck as the armoured bolts went back to normal looking black boots, and burns along with cuts could be seen on her legs as it emitted remnant traces of lightning that flickered faintly around her calves.

Willow sent her golden shield back to her system inventory, and her whip coiled back into her hand. Her chest heaved as she exhaled and inhaled deeply.

Princess Ecles was frozen in shock and disbelief as she stared at Kiefer, Selene, and Willow like they were monsters of incomprehension. She then shifted her gaze to the corpses of the Silver Elves, and then the devastation all over.

And Corey?

He remained still without a single blemish on his clothes and body, and his gaze was calm as though none of what was before him mattered.

Pamela crossed her arms with a proud smirk on her face.

"See?" she said, looking at the frozen Tier 6 Silver Elves. "I told you. Tin soldiers."
