Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon

Chapter 534 533: THRUM!

"RUN!"

The instant Corey shouted, the crab-like Goliathspawn released a loud sound, and then it moved.

It raised its claws, and then it slammed it at the titanic shadow that was beneath it.

BANG!

BOOM!

"Fuck!"

"Damn it!"

"Mother Goddess."

Corey, Ryan, and the rest cursed as they fell and rolled on the ground. A massive wave that was twice as large as the crab-like Goliathspawn surged upward, and to the horror and disbelief of Corey and the rest, the wave slammed onto the shell of the Goliathspawn.

More curses rang out as Corey and the rest were nearly swept away by the massive wave. However, they were quick to react and because of their quick reactions, they stopped themselves from getting blown away by the massive water of water.

Corey stabbed the shell of the Goliathspawn with the pointed tip of his axe's head to steady himself. Kaelan did the same, but Azhrun and the twins were able to manipulate the water that nearly touched them, preventing them from getting drenched.

Old Man Poison waved his hands, and a solid barrier made of mystic mana formed around him and Melissa.

Meanwhile, as the water was about to touch Ryan, Ryan moved his right hand in a chopping motion, and the water was instantly split in half.

Although Corey was intrigued by the way Ryan, Azhrun, and the twins prevented themselves from getting swept away by the massive wave, his mind was mainly on something else.

He looked up, and then he saw it. Find more chapters on empire

A monstrous serpent that was covered in scales that oozed black acid and red eyes that burned with a malevolent intelligence.

'The Abyssal Leviathan?'

"The Abyssal Leviathan!"

Ryan shouted in shock, and Corey glanced at him for a second before shifting his gaze back to the serpent.

As Corey stared at the serpent, he saw the serpent gaze at Melissa for a moment, and then its gaze landed on Azhrun, and then on him.

The moment its gaze landed on him, Corey could have sworn he saw a smirk form on the serpent's mouth.

'It knows it's me their Queen wants.'

The moment Corey had this thought, he perceived a familiar aura from the colossal serpent.

'A Nightmare Finger.'

Corey's eyes flashed with a surprised light, and for a moment, he had to revise his plans and simulations when he was certain that the Abyssal Leviathan possessed a Nightmare Finger inside of it.

'If it's possible, I'll try to get the Nightmare Finger from it… But that means it'll have to die.'

'I wonder what the Nightmare Finger does for abominations and monsters like this.'

Sweat mixed with the water of the previous wave poured down his face as he gazed at the Abyssal Leviathan which was a Tier 5. He glanced at Ryan and Azhrun, and then he saw them having solemn expressions as they stared at the serpent.

Even though they were also tier 5s, they could sense just how powerful the serpent was. Corey had a feeling that none of them would be able to defeat the serpent on their own, mainly because of the poison on its skin and the aura of the Nightmare Finger he could sense.

'But there are five Tier 5s here, we should be able to-'

As Corey had this thought, he sensed something, and his lips could not help but curse as he let out an internal curse.

'Damn it! I jinxed it!'

To the left of the Abyssal Leviathan, another abomination appeared. The abomination was a colossal humanoid entity with a single eye on its stomach, a faceless head, four arms, a mouth on its four hands, and a deep blue fur on its colossal body.

In its two right hands was an ice-blue halberd that emitted an icy mist that froze a part of the sea beneath it.

The Frost Warden.

To the right of the monstrous serpent was a shadowy creature that had the form of a human, however, with just a glance, one would know that the structure, shape, and form of the humanoid shadowy creature was wrong because it was constantly changing by becoming taller, or shorter, or fatter, or smaller.

The Maw.

Behind the Abyssal Leviathan was the creepiest and most disgusting abomination Corey had ever seen.

It was a human head the size of at least seven mountains. It had no hair, a burnt and bleeding scalp that dripped black blood, a sealed mouth, no nose, twisted ears, and countless eyes that seemed to have been sewn to its body.

Emerging from the pupils of the countless eyes were tentacles that were tipped with jagged, obsidian-like barbs.

'Ryan never told me the Tentacled Scourge had this sort of appearance.'

Corey had a shocked, baffled, and disgusted expression as he gazed at the most horrifying abomination and being he had ever encountered in his life.

He glanced at Ryan and the rest, but he noticed that they did not have the same shock and disgust he had as he stared at the Tentacled Scourge. It was like the Tentacled Scourge was not as terrifying as it seemed.

Corey became baffled, but then it dawned on him.

Because of his Eyes of Omniscience, he was seeing the true appearance of the Tentacled Scourge and not what it was making others see.

'I wonder what they're actually seeing.'

Corey knew that if he deactivated his Eyes of Omniscience, he would be able to see what Ryan and the others were seeing, but there was no way he was going to do such a thing.

As Corey stared at the abomination in disgust and shock, he saw the pupils of the eyes move erratically, and then a strange incomprehensible that had no meaning even to Corey's ears resounded across the Shattered Sea.

A second later, every single eye glanced at Corey, and then they glowed. Before Corey could react, his mind blanked out for a fraction of a second, and the moment he opened his eyes and recovered, he saw a jagged, obsidian-like barb that was less than a meter from his heart.

Reacting purely on instinct, Corey swung his axe, and his axe howled with a glowing intent.
