Chapter 1136: 1133: Can't Keep On Holding You Back
Corey had a deep frown mixed with worry as he stared at the dark clouds in the skies.
He was not expecting a Tribulation to occur after giving the six weapon spirits to Primus to devour.
Although Primus was a peak Origin Weapon, a weapon that was at the peak of the universe, Corey did not expect Primus to advance to the next grade.
He had no knowledge or idea of the next Weapon Grades beyond the Origin Grade, but he believed that the difference should be beyond his imagination.
So, why would Primus suddenly advance to the next grade after absorbing six Weapon Spirits?
Although the Weapon Spirits were unique, they were not of a very high grade, so they should not be enough for Primus to suddenly to advance to a grade that was beyond the universe.
If Primus advanced to the next grade, then that meant they would both have to face another Tribulation.
And this time around, he was worried that the Tribulation would be far stronger than the previous one, and he doubted Primus would be able to deal with such a Tribulation.
What Corey did not know was that the six Weapon Spirits were not just unique, they were extremely unique.
Although they were of low grade, their uniqueness was able to push Primus to another realm.
The Weapon Spirit of his Genesis Armament which had the touch of the Old Ones.
The Weapon Spirit of his Dual Battle Axes which had the touch of the Paragon Ancestor.
The Weapon Spirit of his Demonic Sabers which had the touch of a high ranking demon who was beyond the gods of the universe.
These three Weapon Spirits were extremely unique, and they were what allowrd Primus to advance.
Fortunately for Corey, Primus was sentient and he knew the pros and cons of advancing to the next grade.
He knew that he could not survive the Tribulation that would come.
Even if he advanced, he would barely step into the next grade, and the Tribulation would be far stronger and more terrifying than what he just devoured.
Primus' instincts seriously warned him about the Tribulation, and he knew he had to do something so as to not face it.
If he did, he and Corey would surely die.
It did not take long for Primus to figure out what to do with the energies he got from devouring the six Weapon Spirits.
He thought of releasing it, but doing such a thing would be a waste.
He couldn't also transfer them to Corey because they were Weapon Spirits, not the Will, spirit, or soul of another living being.
Doing this would be of no benefit to Corey and it could even harm him.
So, Primus chose to use the energies to further refine every aspect of himself.
If the God of Blacksmiths or a more talented Blacksmith of another universe or even outside the universe observed Primus before he devoured the six weapon spirits, they would say that there was no flaw in him.
That he was perfect.
Even Primus himself subconsciously thought he was perfect, but when he did a deep inspection of himself, he found tiny imperfections.
They could not be explained properly in words.
But it was like seeing micro-sized cracks and nano-sized cracks in his physical body, spirit, soul, and Will.
He refined the energies from the six Weapon Spirits and used them to further strengthen his foundation.
This made it possible for there to be less energy for his entire being to advance to another grade, but it was not enough for him to just remain in the same Origin Grade.
He became a Semi-Omega Weapon.
----
When Corey saw that the Tribulation in the sky began dissipating, he subconsciously released a deep sigh of relief.
Although it was only a portion of the Tribulation Clouds that appeared, just that portion possessed a much more deadly aura than the Tribulation he and Primus faced earlier.
Even his Eyes of Truth and Judgement showed that his fate was utterly and complete dark, which meant he would surely die.
"That was close."
Corey said with a drop of swear falling from the side of his face.
He looked at Primus, and he was instantly awed.
Although there was no visible difference in the physical appearance of Primus, the aura he emitted was extremely different.
Corey could not fully describe it, but Primus' aura nearly caused the hairs on his arm to rise.
If not for the fact that Primus was his creation and that he was made out of his Will, spirit, and soul, he would have fallen to his knees to the immense pressure Primus was radiating.
"A Semi-Omega Grade Weapon huh."
Corey mumbles softly underneath his breath as Primus told him about the changes in his body and spirit.
Corey had never heard of a Semi-Omega Grade Weapon before, but he knew that it was a grade that was beyond the powers of the universe.
It was an unexpected but pleasant surprise.
Never in his calculations did he believe that he would craft a weapon that was beyond the limits of the universe.
"You have changed a lot. I can see that you have some new abilities, but I can't understand them and use them."
Corey furrowed his brows slightly as he held Primus and observed him.
Primus trembled and communicated with him.
"Because of me, you can't use some of those abilities? The backlash on me would be too much for me?"
Primus trembled and threw a tantrum in Corey's mind.
According to Primus, he wanted to try out his new abilities, but he could not because of Corey.
It was like a child who was given toys but could not use them.
Corey gave a wry smile. "Don't worry. It wouldn't be for long."
Primus trembled, and Corey raised his brows in surprise.
"You're about to undergo an evolution?"
Primus trembled.
"You want to pause the evolution until I'm done crafting my armor?"
Primus trembled.
Corey smiled lightly. "Alright. Let me start then. I can't keep on holding you back."
