"After it." I said to Joan before pulling out even more relics.

However, it seemed that it was already too late.

This member of the Four Omens had no hesitation as it ran in the direction of the array.

With the way that it moved, it seemed that it was already prepared to do what it needed to do.

At the same time, there were corruption energy monsters that moved in front of me to block me from following this member of the Four Omens. It seemed that they didn't care about their own safety, they just wanted to stop me however they could.

When they disregarded all things like this, they were at their most dangerous.

I knew that if I ignored them, then it might be possible that something could happen.

As such, I had Joan gather her flames and clear out all of these corruption energy monsters that were charging at us. But that meant that we couldn't chase after that member of the Four Omens.

When the flames cleared, that member of the Four Omens was already at the array.

With the mace in hand, it didn't waste any time in stabbing the mace into the center of the array.

Once that mace was inserted, there was this burst of corruption energy that came from it. However, this corruption energy burst was different from the one that had been released previously when the mace was stabbed into the ground.

What had been released could be considered a stream while this was considered a wave.

At the same time, the concentration of this corruption energy was much more different. It was as if the wave from before was nothing more than a single drop of corruption energy where this was the essence of the corruption energy.

But the strange thing was that the corruption energy wasn't spreading out.

Instead, it seemed to be gathering over that member of the Four Omens.

It was as if it was gathering to take the form of something, only I had no idea what it was taking the form of…

Regardless of what form it was taking, the most important thing now was…

"Everyone retreat! Push them back and reform the lines for what is about to come!"

I immediately had Joan move back the moment that I said this and I wanted the others with relics to push back the corruption energy monsters that were attacking us. But it seemed that this wasn't necessary in the end as the corruption energy monsters withdrew as well.

With the way that they moved, it was as if they had received some kind of order to move away from us.

There was this zone that was created between the two sides and it didn't seem like either side was about to cross it.

While all of this was happening, the corruption energy that had been gathering above the array seemed to condense into large figures. It seemed like it was becoming some kind of large monster with how they condensed.

These large corruption energy monsters that formed were similar to the ones that we faced before, but at the same time…they were also completely different. Unlike the ones that had formed before, they weren't the basic corruption energy monsters.

There were different things that were forming on the bodies of these large corruption energy monsters, different from anything that had been seen before.

It was clear that these were corruption energy monsters that were like anything that had been seen before.

In that case, this should be the time…

"I guess I should stop holding back and release my full power now." I muttered to myself.

It wasn't that I was boasting, but rather I had actually been holding back.

I didn't use the full power of the divine energy that was inside of me because I didn't know what else that member of the Four Omens would do.

Without knowing what could happen, it was best to keep a trump card just in case.

But now that it seemed like that member of the Four Omens was going all out, that meant that I should go all out in kind and use my full power to stop it.

That was why I started gathering the power of the relics for one large move.

This large move would be used to push right through the large corruption energy monsters in front of me.

When they finally finished forming, that member of the Four Omens suddenly turned around and pointed the mace in its hand at us before saying, "Now, face the full power of our lord!"

But the moment that this voice fell, there were several large spears that came through the air.

These large spears were spears made of earth that had been shot out of the ground.

However, they weren't simply spears that were made of earth.

There was a layer of vines that wrapped around the spears, almost as if they grew out of the spears of earth. At the same time, there was a layer of ice that surrounded the spears, wrapping around the vines.

Ice and vines really didn't seem like they would go with each other, but that was how these spears looked.

After the spears of earth pierced through the chests of the large corruption energy monsters, there was no resistance at all that came from them as they broke apart and fell to the ground.

It was as if they had crumbled apart from the place where they had been hit by the spears and shattered to pieces before falling to the ground.

That member of the Four Omens just looked up in shock at where those large corruption energy monsters had been standing.

It wasn't the only one that looked up in shock, everyone else that was on the battlefield also looked at where the large corruption energy monsters had been in shock.

Even I had a look of shock and disbelief on my face as I looked in that same direction.

"Did they really just go down in one hit?"
