Shockwave: Logic will not fail...

Chapter 13: Chapter 13: Hoth's Frost and Hollow Earth's Secrets

In the frozen expanse of Hoth, Shockwave's cloaked mining drones delved deep into ancient caverns hidden beneath layers of ice and snow. The Permafrost Crystals shimmered faintly, their unique energy signature pulsating with an icy glow. Every extraction was precise, each crystal handled with care to preserve its structural integrity and unique properties.

From his base on Plexicon, Shockwave monitored the operation in real time, his single optic scanning the feed from the drones.

"Efficiency is paramount," Shockwave said, addressing his mechanical overseers. "Each crystal extracted increases our technological advantage. Ensure there are no deviations in the process."

The drones worked tirelessly, drilling and extracting with near-perfect synchronization. Meanwhile, Shockwave began designing prototype weapons and energy systems powered by the crystals, their freezing abilities offering unparalleled offensive and defensive capabilities.

On Gem Homeworld, the synthetic humanoid agents were disguised as tourists, their cover story tailored for maximum believability. Steven Universe, ever the optimist, guided the group through the reformed Diamond Authority's halls, introducing them to the Gems who now sought peace after eons of conquest.

"Welcome to Homeworld!" Steven said, his enthusiasm infectious. "Things are a lot different now—no more colonies, no more wars, just trying to figure out how to live peacefully."

The synthetic agents observed everything, their programming constantly analyzing and cataloging. Their mission, however, had a secondary objective: the acquisition of a Gem officer known as Emerald, a high-ranking figure in the Gem military known for her mastery of electric-based powers.

One of the agents, disguised as a SHIELD operative, asked casually, "Steven, are all Gems pacifists now, or are there still military officers around?"

Steven scratched the back of his head, thinking. "Well, most Gems are trying to adapt, but some, like Emerald, are still pretty traditional. She's stationed at one of our outer posts, keeping an eye on things just in case."

This information was relayed instantly to Shockwave.

"Emerald's capture must be executed with precision and discretion," Shockwave instructed the agents. "Any discovery of our interference could jeopardize our long-term plans."

Back on Earth, Kong had finally ventured into the Hollow Earth, leading an expedition of Monarch scientists and soldiers into the mysterious realm. The team had one objective: secure resources that could aid in the construction of Mechagodzilla.

As they descended, the truth of the Cluster—a massive fusion of broken Gems—became clear. Its immense energy output had been the signal that first confirmed the Hollow Earth's existence.

Deep within the glowing caverns, the Monarch team discovered a new material: Godzilla's atomic radiation fused into crystalline rocks, a result of ancient battles between Godzilla's species and the MUTOs. The radiation was stable yet potent, its energy signature eerily similar to the Kaiju King's.

The lead scientist spoke into their communicator, "This... this could be the key. If we can harness this, Mechagodzilla's power core will surpass anything ever conceived."

Unknown to them, Shockwave's Synthetic bots had embedded themselves within the expedition, observing and analyzing the discovery.

Back on Plexicon, Shockwave connected the threads. The Permafrost Crystals, the Hollow Earth radiation, and the Gems' innate potential all formed parts of a larger plan.

"The Godzilla radiation is a potent energy source, but it is uncontrolled," Shockwave mused. "If fused with a Permafrost Crystal, it could create a stable yet destructive hybrid energy core. Perfect for weapons... or autonomous constructs."

Turning his optic to the hologram of Emerald, he continued, "And Gems—beings of light bound to a crystalline form—are untapped reservoirs of power. Their military expertise and ability to fuse make them... adaptable resources."

Shockwave paused, contemplating the implications of these discoveries. His plans were advancing, but the multiverse's complexity meant new variables were constantly emerging.

"Logic dictates that careful planning will yield success," he said. "But contingencies must be prepared. The multiverse is rife with chaos, and even the most calculated plans can encounter resistance.

The mining drones reported back with their first significant haul of Permafrost Crystals. Shockwave began testing their properties, creating prototypes of weapons and energy systems designed to freeze and incapacitate targets with precision.

The synthetic agents began preparing their plan to isolate and capture Emerald, ensuring no evidence could trace back to Shockwave.

The infiltrator bots within the Monarch expedition signaled the location of the Godzilla radiation crystals. They prepared to sabotage Monarch's operation, ensuring the materials would be delivered to Shockwave's hands instead.

For now, however, Shockwave remained undeterred. His plans were advancing, his resources growing, and his vision of ultimate logic and order seemed ever closer to fruition.
